the other robots suck major dick, the entities are ok, puzzles are too easy but the mechanics are cool and varied.
the antigravity surfaces are kinda disorienting, but making them work must have been a technical nightmare
yeah, it's not that they're hard, i mean getting on and off them can feel iffy.
also, i'm at south 3 i think? half the puzzles are upstairs, while the other half are down below, the lift is broken and i can't find a way to fix it.
what's up with that? i though i had to search for the Lab but it doesn't seem to be up here
For me, it happened the same as Talos 1. Played maybe 5 or 6 worlds and got enough of it.
The soundtrack isn't even good as the first game, so I'm not that eager to return. Maybe in a couple of years.
(Also, the fact that this one can't have custom puzzles is awful)
Multiple playthroughs, soaking it all in, trying alternative solutions to puzzles, and making different choices in the story. I enjoy it. My first playthrough was 40 hours.
Yeah I still can't do it, I don't understand what I even can do, the options are limited anyways. I can't even get the laser connector thingy. I somehow need to get at least 1 item on that second floor with me, but I can't go there without the fan, I can't go there without the portal drill, I can't leave the item swapper thing empty. I thought maybe having 2 robots would somehow help in item swapping or travelling but no
yeah I just took like a 15 minute break, cause I couldn't stop thinking about it, and at least now I was able to get this tiny bit forward, but if I don't solve this soon then yeah, I'll just go play LaD: Gaiden and beat the frick out of everyone
I never finished it. I did the first 3 islands, the first megastructure, a puzzle or two with the clones, then got bored and never booted it up again. Should I finish and maybe just skip through all the dialogue when I continue or something?
>Talos Princple >3D puzzle game >it's fun but need to take long breaks in between >also a completionist so won't leave an area until I've grabbed everything, even the stuff that requires taking puzzle equipment outside their designated chambers >shit makes my head hurt because I'm an idiot that loves a challenge >sequel releases right underneath me >still haven't completed 1 yet >mfw
My problem is I'm too much of a meathead that enjoys reaction based gameplay compared to what Talos Principle offers. I don't play many puzzle games, but I genuinely do enjoy what I've seen and experienced so getting 2 is definitely on my eventually list.
if it's of any consolation, TTP2 is easier than 1
or rather, puzzles in 1 aren't more difficult, but can be more complex(more steps, more ways to frick up, more backtracking within a given puzzle, without the solution itself being difficult), meanwhile the ones in 2 are more straightforward and will rarely get you stumped due to wrong execution.
I enjoyed the game a lot but I was disappointed that there was no difficulty spike at the end. each world had 1 or 2 hardish puzzles and the rest were a complete joke, not only that but the stars sucked dick outside of the pandora ones and one single sphinx one. I expected the gold puzzles to combine elements from the entire game and make some interesting mega puzzles, but they mostly stuck to rgb connectors and weren't much harder than the rest of the game. I really hope it gets dlc at some point that is a bit tougher and actually combines its mechanics because if it didnt was 3 puzzles per zone with tutorials it could have been great. Oh and the philosophical aspects of the story were pretty good, but the theory of everything shit sucked.
>going from puzzle to puzzle takes longer than solving them
false, going from one puzzle to the next takes 20-40 seconds(yes, i've timed it), with being slighly closer to 1 minute in the area with the giant statues

still working my way through it
Fellow job haver
I think I know the one you're talking about. It was a ball ache and probably the hardest one in that area

anti gravity is easy when its at 90 degree angles and you can freeze every object on the map except one/player at a time

Made it to West 1 and I am filtered by the third puzzle.
I'm playing it right now. 101.3 hours and counting.
>100 hours
Is there content enough for this or you're just alt-tabbing?
Definitely a memer, I 100%ed it at 29.3 hours.
"Get all the cheevos and move on" isn't really the way I do things.

I can't do this anymore
Let us know if you want a hint or something.

alright as soon as I posted this I at least got one item on the second floor, hope I can still figure this out
I know the feeling of being stuck in a puzzle game. It sucks. I bet if you took a break you'd crush the puzzle when you picked the game up again.

frick me
Nice work.
Thanks!
Just clip the wormhole beam through the hole
who tf is this little fella, is it like a reference to something?
No idea. Maybe a Serious Sam reference? I wouldn't know.
Devolver Digital's joke mascot, Volvy.
Thanks!
>doesn't know about Volvy
tf they name their game after an elder scrolls god for
people like you make me think voluntary extinction for the human race is the way to go
people like you make me think we need to develp better, more efficient means to diagnose autism

take your time, TTP1 and the DLC are much better than TRP2.
Agreed, though I like them all.

They sure wanted to justify paying for the Pretty Rocks Engine 5.
>going from puzzle to puzzle takes longer than solving them

Took me 30 hours to 100% it since there is so much running around and no good quick travel
