I still use Skype and Teamspeak, there's no excuse. Think about it from the average person's perspective. Why should anyone deal with joining some gay ass forum they'll never use again just for one game? Convenience is key: you could put your crappy Mugen roster on Mediafire AND have a link to your group in the readme if people are interested. Forcing them to join just feels like attention whoring.

This is just a less polished version of Pokken in field phase.
the gameplay feels a bit more technical and deep than pokkens field phase. the combos at least require more, and each character has 4 movesets you can teambuild with.
Looks promising, but that UI bloat is a bit thick.
Take Pokemon Stadium's approach and hide the 4 attacks. A button or button combo could be assigned to allow a display of the 4 moves if need be.

My Mrs. really likes braixen, so we ended up getting asking and getting a really positive answer on braixen. He wants to echo her using kadabra (large fluffy tail, skinny canid body and a tool in hand). Will probably play nothing like kadabra.

Echo/Dash as they're called in Japanese works because clones actually have enough differences to be their own fighter, echoes don't play differently enough to be counted separately.
Well, honestly here its kind of weird. Echoes are called that way here strictly based on being over the same skeleton or having the same animations. So, the dev stuff and often visuals.
Charmeleon/Croconaws differences are pretty dramatic. Charmeleon is fast and has better damage output and builds up the burn meter on its physical set. Croconaw is a bit slower but has more Health, and does extremely meaty guard damage and has really oppressive blockstrings. Both characters have weather setting on their specialist set but croconaws is safer and easier to use, while charmeleons specialist set has solar power, giving it nuclear damage in exchange for 35% recoil,as well as being harder to land hits with.
Aggron and nidoking are considered echoes but aggron has an armored aattack on almost every set, while nidoking is a grappler in every set. Here, echoes can be entirely different its just the process in which they are made that defines that.
Avalugg is Ivy's echo by the way.

Beedrill is a really great pick in all of its sets if you ask me. rushdown mon with some crazy combos.
Smeargle steals moves from whatever opponent its facing with sketch, and can sketch moves from multiple opponents across a ranked set (best of 5). You can be the best mon in the game if you pick the right stuff to steal.
Where the frick is the download
We've been playing it remotely (Using parsec to play in the devs multiple PC's) since issuing a download makes the legality of the situation far worse. When its been reskinned and then released, we can mod the pokemon content back in with workshop. simple model swaps.

Honestly this is the first time ive ever even heard of such a crazy idea. Im no legal expert but the game has been alive and getting patches for 2 years, roster jumped from 8 to nearly 50 and its still not getting shot? dudes been careful thats for sure. we've asked for releases before but eventually we voted not to release before steam. itll take longer but the dude knows people in the industry who worked on similar things and the NDA that comes with the CnD's is vicious and he just wont risk his wife and 2 dogs over a release before the game is un-poke'd
