Play basic, solid tekken. A simple backdash and whiff punish with df2 or hopkick will get you incredibly far.

Kuni's df2 is one of the best in the game, range being huge and being a weapon it has a lot of priority so it's actually a great keepout tool

Reasonably big once you hit middling ranks, queues can be long higher up depending on where you are. Lower ranks can be a slog of long queue times depending on where you are and how many people play. Sales might change that, and most of that is hearsay from others since I haven't played low ranked in years.

You will lose a lot. The game takes a lot of investment to get even semi-competent at. If you're okay with that it's not a bad game. But if you want to play the game and win you're going to have to put in the work, so don't bother if you don't want to do that.

Why would I buy a game I already own?
I have 50 hours in this game over the years and never got gud. Is it worth trying to get back into? I put a couple hundred hours into Guilty Gear since and it kind of reinvigorated my interest in FGs.
