If you are new, don't listen to what most people say, especially Tekken players. The bears are not MVC2 Servbot tier or anything like that. They're known for having slightly less reach and slower moves, but they make up for it in damage and having weird hurtboxes that make certain combos not work on them the way it would for other fighters. If anything though, the T7 and T8 versions of them seem to be the best they've ever been. Give them a try and have fun.
Seriously. I wish that games with a preload option would prompt the user and only let them do it if their download speed is slower than a certain threshold. I'm tired of idiots complaining when they have 300 Mbps download speeds and could have just downloaded the thing in 20 minutes.

You can watch player replays from within the game, and actually take over the replays and play them yourself. That’s one way to learn I guess?

Be aware that defeat in Tekken hurts more than arguably any other fighter since you can get mogged easily and hits connect way harder

The game crashes the majority of the time you try to go online, and even if you manage to go into Network without crashing and then you get into a room without crashing you're still likely to get timeout errors when you tey to connect to anyone else. The online is good when it works but it almost never works.

New to tekken is kuma a fun character to learn? Heard bear characters are kept intentionally shit.
If you are new, don't listen to what most people say, especially Tekken players. The bears are not MVC2 Servbot tier or anything like that. They're known for having slightly less reach and slower moves, but they make up for it in damage and having weird hurtboxes that make certain combos not work on them the way it would for other fighters. If anything though, the T7 and T8 versions of them seem to be the best they've ever been. Give them a try and have fun.

Learn how to do his throw chains. The breaks are determined by the inputs for the throw. You'll also know when to break if you know the chins. He has options to take at each point but you'll see people default to certain strings and then you're no longer guessing.
