But every time you open a relic you get another relic in the rewards, these are objectively the single least predatory mechanic in the entire game by a very large margin. They are not only a great way for new players to skip some of the utterly fricking abysmal progression AND simultaneously the complete lack of any progression, but also a booster that lets them earn enough Plat to avoid paying real world money to greedy Canadians owned by greedy Chinese men and start actually playing the game.

The game is genuinely better off without morons like you in it. I bet you deepthroat the stamina bar and want it back as well.
Gameplay is really fun for the first 20 hours, the progression seems solid and it's movement and abilities are super fun. This gets people to think that the rest of the game is like this, so they spend money to try to experience more faster, only to realize the first 20 hours is the only part of the game that is good, and anything beyond that becomes about making yourself invincible and killing everything in one shot because the game rewards that instead of what made the game fun initially because the devs powercrept their game to unmanageable levels while doing halfassed balance passes on things, failing to fix the core problems with the game, while simultaneously failing to embrace the things that make the game fun, constantly walking a tightrope instead of choosing to embrace one side or the other, all the while the players see the game for the potential it could be, riding the train hoping that one day the devs pull the lever to take the train off its current path, stuck in this limbo where they know that the train's current trajectory will lead it to a wreck, too afraid to jump off because they see the beauty in the train itself, but have no control over its destination, forced to ride along with the desperate hope that their beautiful train will finally change course
What makes me really bitter about the developers is that they never bloody learn. They realised player's were getting too powerful in enclosed spaces, so they added a giant empty field - which didn't fix the core balance issues, not even mentioning the MOA's on europa that can instantly kill you with their grapple hook. Open fields didn't work, so they hyped up Railjack because some guy on the dev team played Mass Effect and somehow thought that would translate well into Warframe, only for that to be mediocore, and leading to the absolute shitshow of Scarlet Spear when they doubled down on it. They got pretty close to identifying the core issues of the games powercreep, but their solution was an alternate map that bumped enemy levels to 100+, and adding more powerful versions of the mods to deal with them, which brings us back to fricking square one. They're constantly adding new systems without fixing the foundation of the game. And the constant shifts in art direction with cosmetics like the angel wings is just stupid (I recall one of the devs saying on stream that they wouldn't go in the direction generic MMO cosmetics).
It's a shame really, since the game does have potential with the gameplay and the bio-tech aesthetic it had, but potential means nothing if the creators are too incompetent to build upon it well.

Both of these still exist, with Ash being slightly weaker when played for that same ability and Ember being much stronger than she ever was.
