This is the most important part that seems to have been Lost in MMOs. Since everyone is trying to rush to max level as fast as possible there is no real interaction between players that are strangers. Everyone is just mindlessly auto pathing to the next questline and spamming spacebar to skip the text to go to the next location. And once you finally do get to endgame you only use other players as tools to get gear and go on runs for more gear. and once you are geared you kick losers who are undegeared.
Its completely fricked. Hopefully DokeV fixes this problem even tho its no longer being developed as a MMO.
I remember the last true required player interaction being Warframe back when Void required keys to enter.
So you actually had to find a relatively competent team, maybe make a specific party setup and also find people that are also willing to use their own keys instead of just leeching from you.
It reminded me of old MMO days, actually having to communicate because game required it.
But then they deleted the whole fricking thing and replaced it with a new system that doesn't require any talking and just matches you with random people.

Eventually they started nerfing BAMs and other shit that made the game fun and "streamlining" it, taking away a lot of the things that made it fun to begin with. BAMs were definitely a fun part of it too, kind of goes unstated in threads like these.

Most RPG/MMOs with diverse characters have huge hands for balancing reasons. If you're a small race who's the same class as a larger race, the larger race will have a length advantage over you because their sword would be bigger. So they give everyone larger hands so the tiny race can still hold a huge sword that matches the length of the larger race without any clipping, and to maintain this "art style" they typically give every NPC large hands as well so you don't look out of place.

Even more Elin cope. Tera might've survived if Elin didn't exist, but the developers were too stupid not to cheap out on everything to focus on what they thought was easy money.

Anyone playing Menma? Costumes are unlockable F2P right? Did the guys in charge put them on a horrible grind or is it pretty realistic to get some nice stuff just by playing? Sorta interested in playing but don't want to drop a fortune just for stuff I had when the game was actually alive
It takes about 20 runs of a midtier dungeon to get an outfit. Half that if you pay for the elite service.
Which is the elite service, the recurring club subscription or the one off veteran? Veterans is just character slots right?
It's the one month service thing, but veteran comes with 1 month of it included.

None and I am not the only one not happy about this. Some of the base armors looks better than costume in my opinion. There some probably at work but I don't know. There also a tutorial to convert it but I can't seem to find that either.

If you do all the vanguard dailies, its ganna take a few days. If you have the TERA Club, it takes half the time. Farming the vanguard point and convert it to Fed Bill. This is character bound, so having more characters help make the farming faster. Just do the solo dungeons to get it.
If you're thinking about putting money, you only need that Veteran. You get Club, 8 character slots 4 bank tabs, a shiny title, and 10000 fed bill/tikat that you can buy one costume. I would recommend that if you go this route, use up all your alt slot, use the max level token and gear given to you, and run Lilith's Trial 3 times, Pit of Petrax 3 times, and switch to an alt. Then do whatever you want or do more solo dungeon for more Vanguard points. I would recommend at least having 35000 token before the club ends if you want to keep farming this way and keep the club since the club can and will cut your vanguard farming by half.
