Teslas are pretty much a toy car manufacturer. Their cars are riddled with "features" and "quirks" that cater to the modern s0i millenial. Who cares about durability, maintainability, interior and exterior quality, driving ergonomics, feasibility in extreme climates etc. when you can play crash bandicoot 2 on your car? I find it funny it usually goes something like this:
>omg dude look! i can heckin play angry birds while my car drives itself so epik!!!11!!! >*car battery explodes* >money stolen
I always laugh at Tesla Black folk, knowing that they will eventually die in a car battery explosion
I'm talking purely about visuals. I only don't like the model Y. The rest is pure sex in my opinion. Reminds me of Porsche designs.

Love it, basically took the place of BMWs. Whenever I see a Tesla, I give a wide berth, because I know the driver inside is a mouthbreathing moron.
>last guy zooming through a red light? tesla >guy cut me off without looking? tesla >stop abruptly because not paying attention to the road? tesla >almost ran me over in the crosswalk? backed into my parked car at a gas station? driving alone in the car with a mask on? tesla, tesla, tesla
I don't mind electric cars. What I do mind is the grand majority of them coming with "assisted driving" bullshit that makes you constantly have to wrestle for control of the vehicke with a computer that couldnt actually get a driving license if it got 100 attempts to try. Ill never understand how thats supposed to make the road safer.
Ill probably be driving my Miata untill it falls apart from under me
absolutely born in the wrong time to be a car enthusiast. all the cool old cars are bought up and super expensive or effectively scrap.
and even if you find something, shits so popular you're going to have to pay an arm and a leg for what is essentially a source of constant repairs and maintenance.
would've loved to get a cheap 90s Miata and drive it into the ground but I'm not gonna pay 15k for a car I'll have to first fix up myself and then constantly look for spare parts in case something breaks.
Just bought a diesel truck, it doesn't have nearly as many "features" as my brothers tesla. But with two gas tanks I can get infinitely more milage out of my vehicle than he can. Glad I didn't fall for the memes.
This is inaccurate as that tablet would be flashing red with "ERROR! CAN'T DRIVE PAST 5MPH!" and the game wouldn't be functional while you're sitting in the parking lot of the dealership.
I'm still not sold on the idea that electric cars are cheaper than petrol. You still have to pay for the electricity to charge them and of course the battery packs wear out and those aren't cheap to replace.
It is pretty well documented by now, dont look at EVs in general - just look at teslas, they have the best data available. It is substantially less expensive than gas but that doesnt even matter, what matters is you charge it overnight and you get the conveniency of never visiting a gas station. Once per year you can go to a supercharger where 10 to 80% charge takes roughly 20 minutes. If you ONLY supercharged, it would still be a lot cheaper than gas. And battery packs for a tesla have a 8 year warranty or 100k+ miles whatever comes first.
Prices in battery packs would have come down in that decade by a minimum of 50% by that time lol, the 20k quote is likely from 5 years ago already. Some brands other than tesla will legit show you a 50k receipt to change battery tho because their costs are completely out of control at low volumes.
Doesn't doing this wear out your wheels?
what driving?
i have to give it to tesla, their car designs are top notch, no, i'm not talking about cybertruck
i'll never ever buy an electric car thougheverbeit
I hate it and I hate that every car now looks like a loaf of bread

model s looks okay
rest looks like shit
I really really like the model S but the others are a bit eh for me
They all look like the safe horny version of a sports car.
The Model S is the only one that looks good

Tia Buggy racing is fun, vampire survivors toI now have a 8bitdo controller to use in the car, but the button mappings are all fricked up.

Old miatas are dead man boxes, avoid
Why would you buy a sports car when there are speed limits and potholes everywhere?
When the next pandemic hits they'll probably shut down people's teslas remotely to flatted the curve

Where are you? I was under the impression that USA doesn't do diesen and EU doesn't do trucks.

And convenienty they've proven to die in 9-10 years and cost 20 grand to replace.
