Hypothetically if this were to happen do you think tf2 would be better off?

I mean, I guess bots would be gone
The game would also be dead
The vast majority of the community has since shifted to community servers and they are bot free
I highly doubt that
all the uncletopia/skial/etc. servers can collectively hold maybe a few hundred players total at any given time, tf2 has 70k players daily
that number is not even close to the real count at said hour, its something closer to 15 - 25k at best
>it's not real according to my ass and other unspecified sources
I smell your post jungle inferno ass, newbie
>He said, using a website nobody cared about that claimed 0 people were playing during the 2023 summer update
>This moron didn't even play TF2 and didn't know it was quickplay that actually starved unorthodox servers of players
Never mentioned any website Black person, get your arguments checked
i was joking, fricking moron
>BUH DUH BUT I WAS JUST MERELY PRETENDING TO BE moronic
Like a clockwork
not my fault you don't understand comedy, mongoloid, bwahaha
>implying
Quickplay wasn't even in the game when I played it homosexual. F2P killed all my favorite servers because the regulars couldn't get in anymore and eventually people lost interest and drifted away. It didn't help that starting with the scout update, every content addition to the game was just making it less fun.
>the israelite will call you a newbie but never tell you that you're wrong
https://teamwork.tf/community/statistics
This site tracks the actual player-count. Note that "bots" refer to official bots and not to the problematic bots, which are grouped in with the non-bot player-count.
>Gathered from scanning all TF2 servers.
uh huh they just have a guy looking through every valve server then right
Reminder that this was the same website that claimed that 0 people were playing during the 2023 summer update.
damn must be those "technical limitations" they're talking about on the page
Ah yes, the technical limitations of making shit the frick up.
>teamwork.tf still causes TF2 trannies to meltdown to this day
>He said, having a melt down because nobody cares about iamadelusionalbabypleasetellmetf2isdead.biz
official servers are the containment zone for bots
if you remove that's it's literally over bros...
Community servers unironically have better means to deal with bots.
They do, but the communities are so fricking horrendously shit that people would honestly rather play with bots than ever choose to interact with them.
>inb4 le phone user
Who cares, like 84 - 85 precent of this website traffic is from mobile posters and lurkers alone
The game was at its peak before matchmaking even existed.
>Dude shut down the servers the overwhelming majority of the playerbase takes over so they're forced to interact with the Inceltopia community
Uh NO!
Why doesn't Valve just pay mobsters to literally kill the guys flooding servers with hack bots?
Also what is even their motivation? They're paying thousands of dollars a week to flood the game with thousands of bots to...ruin a 15 year old game?
>what is even their motivation?
they're israelites that give bot immunity to people who pay money
Legal concerns, monetary concerns, the fact that it would probably be incredibly counterproductive if they hired a hitman to kill uncle dane since his clique controls basically all of the secondary media for the game.
The fact that the servers would be immediately be passed on to another goon to shit up casual because ultimately they're disposable.
What does any of this mean
If Valve paid to have whoever was hosting the bots killed they're basically disposable and they would just swap in a new moron.
It wouldn't actually fix the issue, and ostensibly would probably create a new issue where everyone is pointing out that they had someone murdered and try not to do business with them.
Someone just like trolling
>They're paying thousands of dollars a week to flood the game with thousands of bots to...ruin a 15 year old game?
Don't question the motive of bronies, soijak Black folk and gay furries. The inner workings of their minds are an enigma.
>le phone user
Correct and that is why your thread becomes shit instantly.
i play on casual queue because ive lost a huge majority of my former video game skill thanks to getting older, and am just not good enough to play against the average community server player
so i say no
If I remember right, it would unironically be a return to 2007. Official servers didn't exist at launch
TF2 stopped being good when it went F2P and the flood of new players killed all the good servers.
Just use this system again and either kill the bots and cheaters or kill tf2 for good
Comp mode arguably has a worse bot problem than casual matchmaking because like 5 fricking people actually play it and no one really cares, so it's effectively nothing but hackers anymore since no one really plays.
It also has the issue that the comp community are horrid little homosexuals and had a melty when Valve didn't hand over administration of the servers when it released and abandoned the mode to go back to their own servers where they can ban everything they can get away with banning.
Feel free to play on community servers all you want bro
If you don’t like pubs just ignore them
