Open world or large maps without fast travel is just padding to bloat game time

all this tells me is this game is going to be as much of an unfocused mess as the first one
the pawn system is the epitome of pointlessness in a game that could've been one million times better if they simply developed the combat further or made a better leveling system, and they're clearly gonna do the exact same thing with this one...

Morrowind didn't have fast travel and it was a great game save for the shit dice-roll combat.

    YES fast travel ruins games

For me, a fast travel function is successful when its always available as an option, but the game's world is so immersive, you'd rather go to the place you want to by foot or by using a vehicle.
Last time I encountered this, was with cyberpunk. I have barely used fast travel points in the game and I have clocked 250 hours on it.

Ryzen 7600 might not be enough for 60 fps.

There's like one good game a year anon, maybe two. You can even buy it cheaper on one of the various key retailers or wait for a sale if you still won't buy it.

Yes, Dragon's Dogma is boring, we already knew that.

His statement isn't wrong, it's just his own game doesn't really qualify. Discovering something for the first time is fun but the game needs consistency in terms of traveling for it to continue being fun for hours upon hours of play time. This is what separates games like Morrowind or even Gothic 2 from it.
