From Software's back catalog is impossible to discuss online because nobody has played most of their games. Even if they have, the ratio of post-Demon's Souls discourse to everything else is so skewed towards the former that 'true' fans will always be drowned out.
My PC is too weak for Xemu and I will not buy an Xbox just to play this, so it will unfortunately stay that way. Gamecube had the last laugh over the Xbox, all things considered. Xbox may have gotten more ports back in the day because it used actual DVDs instead of the laughable 1.4GB mini-discs, but it's the Gamecube that gets chiefly discussed online nowadays. It has good quality emulation, which makes it possible for new people to discover its games with no money investment at all.

Are you implying you'll still be using the same PC in 20 years? You'll upgrade at some point plus Xbox emulation will have improved

It's all right. Fun to smash enemies around but it's really not comparable to those games. Second one has multiple characters at least. One of the few decent games From made back then.
I had the demo for this and really enjoyed it.
I like all of their old games. They usually have at least some cool stuff going for them. Evergrace and its sequel are absolutely beautiful, Lost Kingdoms has funny yugioh monsters and a Hoshino soundtrack, etc.

I have this physically on Xbox and I bought the digital version of both Otogi games on Xbox.
Not sure I would call it "better" than all those games combined, but Otogi is a fun time.
