I am incredibly hyped actually, which is rare for me. I am high on hopium when it comes to Callisto Protocol, I hope it's at least worth a torrent because I'm getting tired of replaying DS1 and 2.
This is how I feel. Pretty indifferent to a lot of the other big releases this year (Ragnarok, Starfield), but Callisto has me excited. I loved the first two Dead Space games and I enjoyed 3 despite it not living up to the first 2, so for me this is going to be a guaranteed good game.

Yes but I just really hope they have some more variety in the design for enemies they haven't shown because right now it doesn't feel that interesting in that respect besides maybe two face. I also really hope there's an armor that lets me cover the MC's face because that outfit is easily one of the worst I've ever seen even though I understand it's meant to evoke just being an everyman's sort of suit rather than a combat suit. It just looks so bad and I have nothing against the actual actor, I just hate that his face is visible in the suit.
Even though it's not tied to that anymore, I have no understanding how this was a dealbreaker for people. PUBG doesn't even have lore, the point of the game was to give it some. The most you would have seen at all was them mentioning guys shooting zombies or shooting each other for X reason in some random datalog you had to find somewhere and that's it. How would that have suddenly made the game garbage?

Normally "spiritual successors" or "FROM THE CREATORS OF" would bring me incredible fricking dread or red flags, but the old interviews Glenn did were enough to convince me this man actually gives a shit. I'm incredibly optimistic. I'll share them again.
