My dude,
The character creator is barely non existent, and they decided to waste resources on a slider for a skin decease about as rare as down syndrome. Like, there are decade old games with a wider array of options.
im assuming its because it was probably really easy to do
just use a noise texture and scale it with the slider
after the UI was made it prolly took someone all of ten minutes
>they decided to waste resources on a slider for a skin decease
I don't think many resources went into this slider whatsoever; certainly a lot fewer than would be required for full face sliders.
I'm 30 years old now, and I've started getting vitligo patches on my body (thank god none on my face yet), But in less than a year the patches have more than doubled in size with no signs of stopping. While I personally do not really care about it because its entirely superficial and will never cause me problems, at this rate by the time Im 33 Ill probably have patches that are plainly visible.
I bring all this up because I used to think it was silly to see in video games too but, now I understand. It really is something that just happens to some people, and those people deserve just a little bit of normalization in games where it's applicable. It's easy to implement too.
>and those people deserve just a little bit of normalization in games
No they don't. Why the frick would videogames need to include any arbitrary congenital or genetic defect that players could possibly have? Why do you insist on spending time and resources highlighting ugliness?
the same reason you freak the frick out whenever someone is presented that doesnt directly represent you and only you. The only difference is they want it sometimes and you want it all the time.

I do wonder why vitiligo representation shit is pushed so hard despite it being even less common than trannies but it is very true that it started getting pushed around 2 years ago during vax release so it does make me think
>it is very true that started getting pushed around two years ago
That shit has been pushed by the diversity crowd for literal decades. It was incredibly common to see one of those Tumblr redraws where every character is made varying amounts of black and fat for at least one to have vitiligo.
I literally only knew about it because of cringe threads from here, newbie. The fact that you don't, and will likely respond based on your modern understanding of "cringe" instead of considering the context from over a decade ago, reveals more about you than me.

You probably suffer from a Oxytocin deficiency. Most men with mental health problems do. There is a nasal drug that can help. It's only function is to help supplement the Oxytocin you're lacking. My biggest problem is my failing business. With out it and the world around me falling apart I would be fine. I'd like to take that drug to be very honest. I doubt I will though.

Black folk will parrot this shit without the slightest idea about how shit actually works. I can respect not taking the vaccine because the clinical trials were far too short, but this is reptile people-tier moronic

I love hearing this one. This is what all my alex jones, climate denial, psuedo "I under stand the physics but can't do the math" types that I lived with all believed. When I told them I got it I just told them "I am a mad scientist. Let's see if it's really that bad." Which they accepted.

you know that literally anything that damages your body/dna can cause vitiligo, right? The sun, chemicals, drinking, drugs, vitamin toxicity. I do think we'll see an increase due to the vaxx, but not just the vaxx will cause it. Modern living just sucks
and once your melanocytes are gone, they are not coming back
I developed this shit thanks to sun damage and harmful chemical exposure. Literally nobody in my family has it. Got it decades before the vaxx was a thing. I didn't even get the vaxx. Go be an idiot somewhere else
>it is very true that started getting pushed around two years ago

The brain fog must be really coming in strong anon, I'm sorry.
Why can't I play as someone who looks like they have varying stages of cancer with a slider determining my stage progress? Are (You) saying people with cancer can't beat it, or are less than those who don't have it? Don't they deserve to be the hero's in their fantasy? For shame
Sorry to hear it anon, you'll probably have to put up with the cruelty of young people and the virtue signalling of young adults that try too hard that just come off as snakes pretending to help you or care.
It's good to hear you don't really care about it, I have some relatives with it but it's just a visual thing, to me people with tattoos are weirder because they willingly stain their bodies with dark blotches.
It legitimately doesnt bother me at the moment, but that might change if it ever starts spreading to my face. As of right now, ladies think its cute. Im a practical guy, and it'll literally never come between me and anything I want. It's more just a "Guess I'm getting old" moment that everyone gets at some point. All it reminds me of is how fragile the human body is and how quickly you can develop something out of the blue for no apparent reason. It wont be vitiligo for you or these pasty internet goblins in this thread, but it'll be something. Hopefully for you it won't be anything life endangering, because unless I'm super unlucky and it destroys the pigment in my eyes (hyper rare) it's entirely a superficial thing.
once it spreads to your face you're gonna wanna kys, trust me. That shit is a total game killer. Mine started on my elbow and on my dick and it was for sure a cool little thing to talk about, but eventually it got to the point where it spread to my face, and any time I'd get a tan I'd look like an abomination, so say goodbye to ever going outside without autistic sun protection
also while not life endangering, it makes you more likely to develop other auto immune things. The pigment thing isn't just superficial and it can decrease vision quality or the loss of pigment can require you to wear sunglasses on particularly sunny days. Your hair might gray prematurely, stuff like your eyelashes might lose pigment too, body hair. Your immune system might attack hair follicles too, other organs
vitiligo isn't superficial and I'm tired of people pretending it is. You're new to it, but I give you 3-5 more years with it until you really see how dogshit it is
I avoid the sun as it is and already use sub protection so again, absolutely needing to instead of just doing it by habit won't change much. My vision already sucks so again, that won't change much unless I go blind.
And I doubt vitiligo causes you to develop other auto immune things, its more like you're already prone to and thats a sign you might be sometime down the line.
I've got enough confidence to not care about any look-based side effects. Until then, we'll see when I get there, but as of right now it's not an issue.
>its more like you're already prone to and thats a sign you might be sometime down the line
you're probably not wrong about that, just prepare yourself anon
it's nice to say you don't care, I was like that at first. Then it spread to my face, and it wasn't too noticeable at first, it was fine, almost like a blemish
eventually the pigment loss spread and covered my entire cheeks. If I had even the slightest tan people would comment on it, I'd notice people at stores would look at me weird, treat me different. You can process this now, sure, but once you start to really live it, it really fricks with you, your self confidence. Eventually you're like why even bother, I'm an ugly son of a b***h, why even fricking try anymore. It's one thing not to care, and another to realize you can't just NOT care. Your appearance is important. It's not superficial to think so. People care about it, and so should you
I'm in a better place now after years and years of trying to treat it, I settled on depigmentation. Not looking back, I'm incredibly happy now, even though I have some leftover splotches in some hidden areas. Frick living with this shit
all I'm saying anon is, don't give up, don't pretend not to care, don't get jaded about, don't accept it. It should not be accepted, it isn't normal, frick that shit. You're a human being, not a leper

it's incredibly likely that you could have developed vitiligo, yes
go to a dermatologist and they'll do a wood's lamp exam to confirm
since you caught this shit early, try to wear sun protection now since that's probably what caused it
you can get some UV treatments around your eyes with a professional and that should hopefully bring the pigment back. Opzelura cream also works, but it'll be slow, and it's pretty expensive. Talk to a derm about that shit. Try not to stress your skin, and try to pay attention to what you eat
good luck anon
It's possible, and I'm not saying it won't affect me at all when it becomes an obvious thing. But I also know the sort of person I am and genuinely do not care. It's not going to affect anything I do already, hobbywise, carreerwise, personal friends wise. You definitely don't know me, but I know more than anyone else how important appearances are, but I'm also very fashionable and cool. It won't affect me when I cosplay because I already slather myself in makeup as it is. And if anything the people that matter will see it as a positive in this world of sought after exclusivity and empowerment. Only the people that matter, though.
The randos on the street that might stare never mattered to me anyways.
But I appreciate your words, especially if they are coming from personal experience. Normalizing something doesnt mean pretending it's not an issue. It's not normal, but it's natural and a condition that can't really be cured so there's no sense being ashamed of it when it's (usually) not a life ending thing.
makeup was actually one of the things that really triggered the spread for my vitiligo on my face. When I first noticed the tiny spots on my face I would try to cover em up, and putting on plus removing makeup every single day gave me a lot of breakouts and put a lot of stress on my skin. Def be careful with makeup if you don't want it to spread too much. Remove the makeup with soothing creams, use quality makeup etc
also I do believe this can be cured, but only if it's looked at on a case by case basis. For a lot of people it could be anything from vitamin toxicity, failing livers, overactive immune systems, exposure to some chemical, poison. Doctors simply do not really care enough, and don't have the time to look at it on a case by case, plus they wanna keep people on some med or cream so they keep coming back. I 100% believe it can be cured if we stop trying to make it normal. Like sure, don't discriminate against people, but at the same time, the fake sympathy without wanting to help? It sucks. I don't want exposure for looking like a freak, I want people to help, I don't want this shit to be considered normal, I hated myself when I had it around my face

And to add, life sucks for everyone. We all get something and die eventually. No sense in living in shame/disgrace for having something as basic and more-or-less managable like Vitiligo when there's way worse and way more disfiguring diseases that make people live in perpetual agony. I can tell you're passionate from experience but no matter what someone is going through, they deserve to live in dignity instead of a state of perpetual shame.

i've had it ever since i was a little kid and it's never spread, i just have some tiny patches on my thighs and wiener. should i still be worried?
Sounds like you don't want to mess around too much. Auto Immune stuff isn't something to frick around with. Once you body is depleted of its reserves of various anti-inflammatories you're fricked. Do what ever you can to boost your glutathione and nitric oxide before you have a problem.
>and those people deserve just a little bit of normalization in games where it's applicable
Frick off. Wanting your abnormalities shoved in other people's faces is pure narcissism and should be condemned, not encouraged.
>it’s just a skin thing
Are you stupid, or LARPing?
I also have an autoimmune disease, and I know that makes me prone to more autoimmune and cancer issues, which is why I stay in close contact with my doctors. I don’t want a slider for my fricking condition in a video game (shitting blood, anyone?).
>I 100% believe it can be cured if we stop trying to make it normal.
I can definitely agree with this statement, at least. I feel this way about a lot of conditions, but humanity's priorities are locked away in other pointless stuff. But you're upset at exposure? Exposure is the very thing that brings the condition to more eyes to inspire more people to care instead of pretending it doesnt exist, or worse, not even knowing it exists.
The slider makes it seem like there’s no difference between vitiligo people and non-diseased people. It’s not a fashion trend, in fact it’s normalizing the disease. It shouldn’t be normalized, just like obesity.
Hey, look on the positive side, at least the game has no fatties.
It's pretty incredible when you think about it, a game this pozzed has no fat people at all.
Except vitiligo doesnt have a proven treatment, we barely understand how the disease works, every vitiligo standard treatment is the result of anecdotal evidence a good fricking luck after years of trial and error and each specific of every patient, meaning what works for some may do jackshit to others. Its in no way comparable to obesity where the first step to prevent it is to watch your food portions

If it's auto immune it has a treatment. And you're directly part of the problem if you're standing in the way of having people looking at it as a treatable condition.

the only 'treatment' vitiligo has are UV sessions, where the pigment will likely fade again after a while, ozpelura, which doesn't work for everyone and the pigment can fade again, and monobenzone, which is pretty much the WMD as you're just essentially nuking your entire body's pigment permanently to try and get an even tone. Pigment can also come back when you take the monobenzone route, so you'll have to be extra careful for the rest of your life, plus depending on your phenotype you might end up looking like a weirdo
none of these are real treatments, just bandaids because most dermatologists are just a bunch of quacks who only wanna deal with acne

I’m that anon with an autoimmune disease. If they add an option to have an autoimmune disease…treat it like a fricking autoimmune disease.
They could also add a line to the ending of romance options, saying how the person you’re with chooses you even with your condition, and wants to face all of those challenges together. That’s a realistic depiction, and opens up a heartfelt dialogue about it.
Instead we get these fricking fashion choices. My bleeding out my ass every 2 weeks isn’t a fashion choice.

It's just safe virtue signalling... They want to act like they love and support those who are physically "deformed" and vitiligo is always the go to safe option for these tards because it's odd looking but not so grotesque they can't pretend to be accepting to score their tolerance points
this is bad exposure, it's like trivializing breast cancer to just losing your breasts and pretending like it's just superficial, or pretending some cancerous growth on your skin can't be deadly either and it's just superficial. It's telling the public it's just something superficial, just trivializes it and normalizes it while ignoring it could very well be part of a larger issue and/or it could lead to more issues. People aren't going to look up vitiligo when they see it in some slider in game, they're just gonna goof around with it to make ugly characters, it trivializes us while laughing at our misfortunes
>says it is likely that the jab could cause it among other things >immediately gets defensive several words later at further thought of the jab causing it
The brain fog must be really coming in strong anon, I'm sorry.
a myriad of things could cause it, the jab is irrelevant to this. I didn't get it, and I am strongly against it, go try your poltard shit somewhere else
Auto-immune disorders are often caused by what you eat. Do an extreme elimination diet and see if it gets better.
this, it could be an allergy to something you eat or something in your environment. Also maybe your liver might be sensitive you a specific vitamin. Vitamin A, Vitamin C, Vitamin D are some of the most common ones that might trigger an autoimmune flare up since food manufacturers spike damn nearly everything with them
i've had it ever since i was a little kid and it's never spread, i just have some tiny patches on my thighs and wiener. should i still be worried?
probably not, they likely happened as a result of some organ like your liver not processing vitamins fast enough causing your immune system to go haywire, and now that you're grown up you're fine since your organs grew
Don't get a rage boner over the idea of the jab causing it when you admitted it's a possibility lol you personally taking it doesn't change how it impacts other people. >yeah it COULD cause it... But I'll get mad that you aren't addressing all the other things that could address it too!
Imagine defending this, you yourself are against the jab. The point being that it was so shilled with the "mandatory forcing" psychology. Yeah, a result of shooting yourself in the head COULD be instant death, but don't forget all the other things it could cause too!
I am not getting a rageboner over anything, I just want you to shut the frick up about the jab when in theory even getting COVID could cause vitiligo to appear, as it would put stress on your entire body
this isn't the genetic thing you wanna pretend it is. Even if the jab caused a small flareup, the spread it should in theory stop so long as there isn't something your body doesn't like exacerbating it
basically I don't like you trivializing something that's much more complicated than your political anti vaccination wankery. Trust me, I'm extremely against this experimental jab, but nothing good's gonna come out of wondering if that's what caused it. It's something you're never gonna verify. Could the shot have made the person more susceptible to vitiligo? Yes, very likely. In much the same way it made a lot of people more susceptible to a lot of heart related issues and giving women fertility issues
does this help the OP treat it, or find out the ACTUAL reason why it continues to spread? No, you're just being a jackass
Black person I too have vitiligo (even in my face) but unlike you I truly don't care. Stop being a fricking b***h, this slider is just pure fricking cringe and just a waste of resources.
Man up and use a helmet. In real life, I mean.

why are modern game devs so fricking moronic?
they're missing obvious basic options but shit nobody cares about is in
>Dragonborns canonically don't even have tails >Give them three tail options >I repeat, there is a Tail option in the character creator >Do not give it to Tieflings, the race that canonically has a tail
This is after they spent two official dev updates complaining that people didn't use enough Tiefling options
Larian has developed an actual character creator but has activily decided not to included it in the game
>“We never make a character creator [...] specifically for the players, even though we sort of do,” Dubrovina told Kotaku. “First of all, when the production starts, we make it for us. Because we knew that the game was gonna be huge. We knew that there’s gonna be too many characters and we knew we need to customize everyone and be prepared for Dragonborns or similar creatures like that. […] So we kind of know that if a design is requested and there’s gonna be — like in a year — 100 [characters] throughout the game, it’s our job to kind of be prepared to make sure that all of those imps or at least some of those imps look unique.” >https://80.lv/articles/larian-explained-why-there-are-no-face-sliders-in-baldur-s-gate-3/
nearly everything past act 1 karlach was cut because too much of it had to do with upper city
almost everything about minthara was cut/broken, she just loops her initial triggers endlessly for the most part
there was a fully voiced, fully implemented halfling companion that was cut last minute also for act 3 reasons
the only "complete" companions are astarion and shadowheart, everyone else got massive last minute cuts/reworks and even astarion has a bunch of a3 issues so really only shadowheart is functioning "as-intended"

You‘re right, we should go back to a single character presets. Who needs blonde or red hair? Are we gonna show every recessive gene?
I think we should only allow beautiful presets. I.e., no non-whites and no skin conditions. Also no men, only women. You cans have men but they must all wear face-covering helmets.
Well yeah. Creating a busty girl is sexist. Busts belong to the girls that grew them and you're not allowed to manufacture fictional ones for your own enjoyment. To deny them their Onlyfans is to deny them their birthright.

>"Normalizing" an autoimmune disease.
Vitiligo can be the first sign of a larger underlying autoimmune problem and is often associated with autoimmune thyroid diseases.
One could argue that making people more aware of the existence of Vitiligo is therefore a good thing, because people are talking about it in this thread I have learnt that it's an autoimmune condition and is not merely cosmetic.
Last papers point to a correlation between psoriasis outbreaks and metabolic diseases like diabetes or obesity. Are you eating healthy anon? Are you a fat frick?

I want a leprosy slider.
I want to make a malformed, cruel character marred by constant pain who exacts vengeance indiscriminately on the world around him
What's the point of having that option? It felt so out of place and they could have replace it with better customization options like being able to boob and butt slide...

Frick your snowflake skin condition. Where's the eczema slider then?
>Where's the eczema slider then?
moron you can control your disease, just clean your sweat and dont scrub with dish soap
What if it's stress? You're basically helping turn this dude into a leper.
vaxxed?
have a nice day
so yeah
the vax alters dna which could include cell manipulation
I do wonder why vitiligo representation shit is pushed so hard despite it being even less common than trannies but it is very true that it started getting pushed around 2 years ago during vax release so it does make me think
>gates made a vaccine that turns black people into white people
Quite based if i do say so myself
>it is very true that started getting pushed around two years ago
That shit has been pushed by the diversity crowd for literal decades. It was incredibly common to see one of those Tumblr redraws where every character is made varying amounts of black and fat for at least one to have vitiligo.
you’re delusional if youre implying anybody knew what vitiligo was since a year ago or just outed yourself at a tumblrina homosexual
I literally only knew about it because of cringe threads from here, newbie. The fact that you don't, and will likely respond based on your modern understanding of "cringe" instead of considering the context from over a decade ago, reveals more about you than me.
You are such a moronic zoomer. Everybody knew what the frick vitiligo was, you just spend too much time in the basement.
nobody knows what fricking viltigo is, other than as "ugly" in the descriptive sense when they see it
>the vax alters dna which could include cell manipulation
>I do wonder why vitiligo representation shit is pushed so hard despite it being even less common than trannies but it is very true that it started getting pushed around 2 years ago during vax release so it does make me think
why didnt the postcount go up rabbi?
>I do wonder why vitiligo representation shit is pushed so hard despite it being even less common than trannies but it is very true that it started getting pushed around 2 years ago during vax release so it does make me think
>I have all of this
Bros... Should I visit psychiatrist?
no because they'll tell you you have it even if you don't
You probably suffer from a Oxytocin deficiency. Most men with mental health problems do. There is a nasal drug that can help. It's only function is to help supplement the Oxytocin you're lacking. My biggest problem is my failing business. With out it and the world around me falling apart I would be fine. I'd like to take that drug to be very honest. I doubt I will though.
>Oxytocin deficiency
>"Irritability and inability to feel affectionate. Heightened anxiety and fears. Difficulty achieving orgasm. Bigger appetite for sugary foods."
Isn't that 'just' low testosterone? nta.
Also frick you jannies.
I should probably not feel personally attacked by this, huh?
That would be symptom number 6 Anon
>shizoid and schizophrenia are the same thing
they have quite a few symptoms betwen em dummy moron anon
sure they're in the same group, but just because you can't socialize with people and have trouble concentrating doesn't mean you'll develop multiple personality disorder
in fact, a shizophrenic doesn't necessarily have to be a shut-in loser and can have very good social skills, which makes them potentially very dangerous
Black folk will parrot this shit without the slightest idea about how shit actually works. I can respect not taking the vaccine because the clinical trials were far too short, but this is reptile people-tier moronic
Black person vitiligo was a popular thing for Tumblr artists like a decade ago.
>*Thing happens after 2020*
>OMG GUYS ITS THE VACCINE GUYS I TOLD YOU 2 MORE WEEKS AND EVERYONE WILL LOOK LIKE THIS AND SAY THIS
>the vax alters dna which could include cell manipulation
I love hearing this one. This is what all my alex jones, climate denial, psuedo "I under stand the physics but can't do the math" types that I lived with all believed. When I told them I got it I just told them "I am a mad scientist. Let's see if it's really that bad." Which they accepted.
>I'm a midwit who doesn't know about endogenous retrotransposons but I'm going to pretend to be intellectual anyway because I skim the headlines of news every couple of days and uncritically regurgitate the political talking points of the people who own my country
you know that literally anything that damages your body/dna can cause vitiligo, right? The sun, chemicals, drinking, drugs, vitamin toxicity. I do think we'll see an increase due to the vaxx, but not just the vaxx will cause it. Modern living just sucks
and once your melanocytes are gone, they are not coming back
I developed this shit thanks to sun damage and harmful chemical exposure. Literally nobody in my family has it. Got it decades before the vaxx was a thing. I didn't even get the vaxx. Go be an idiot somewhere else
>IT COULD HAVE BEEN ANYTHING NOT NECESSARILY THE VAX SO UH YOU'RE WRONG HEH
you motherfricker I didn't get the jab, and I am strongly against it. I'm just saying you're a fricking moron for making this about the vax
This is what jab regret looks like
>says it is likely that the jab could cause it among other things
>immediately gets defensive several words later at further thought of the jab causing it
The brain fog must be really coming in strong anon, I'm sorry.
um. so let me get this straight.. you are a shitskin?
>more importantly, I'm not black
Ok, now add the ALS, Multiple Sclerosis, Cancer, AIDS, Ebola and Covid sliders so that everyone can feel represented in the game!!!
>vitiligo is comparable to a terminal diseases
also the gay wizard has magical aids
Why can't I play as someone who looks like they have varying stages of cancer with a slider determining my stage progress? Are (You) saying people with cancer can't beat it, or are less than those who don't have it? Don't they deserve to be the hero's in their fantasy? For shame
larp moment
vitiligo is not "entirely superficial", you should google what it is before you post about how your life is with it.
there thousands of skins conditions that will never be options
they chose vitiligo because it looks hip and trendy
its not there to make (you) feel better its there for other people to feel like they are virtuous
>if i got AIDS i want my character creator to also include it
BG3 didn't ask and just gave everyone aids by default
I have psoriasis and I noticed after getting sun that I have white patches around my eyes is it over for me anon?
it's incredibly likely that you could have developed vitiligo, yes
go to a dermatologist and they'll do a wood's lamp exam to confirm
since you caught this shit early, try to wear sun protection now since that's probably what caused it
you can get some UV treatments around your eyes with a professional and that should hopefully bring the pigment back. Opzelura cream also works, but it'll be slow, and it's pretty expensive. Talk to a derm about that shit. Try not to stress your skin, and try to pay attention to what you eat
good luck anon
makeup was actually one of the things that really triggered the spread for my vitiligo on my face.
Unless your disease is caused be being a degenerate (AIDS)
It's not normal, but it's natural and a condition that can't really be cured so there's no sense being ashamed of it when it's (usually) not a life ending thing.
i've had it ever since i was a little kid and it's never spread, i just have some tiny patches on my thighs and wiener. should i still be worried?
Legit didn't know all this.
Sounds like you don't want to mess around too much. Auto Immune stuff isn't something to frick around with. Once you body is depleted of its reserves of various anti-inflammatories you're fricked. Do what ever you can to boost your glutathione and nitric oxide before you have a problem.
Sorry anon that's what you get for refusing to vote for Biden
I hope you get well. I won't kick you when you're down
>and those people deserve just a little bit of normalization in games where it's applicable
Frick off. Wanting your abnormalities shoved in other people's faces is pure narcissism and should be condemned, not encouraged.
>those people deserve just a little bit of normalization in games where it's applicable
no.
what next? tourette representation?
>it’s just a skin thing
They’re not exposing the condition, though.
The slider makes it seem like there’s no difference between vitiligo people and non-diseased people. It’s not a fashion trend, in fact it’s normalizing the disease. It shouldn’t be normalized, just like obesity.
Hey, look on the positive side, at least the game has no fatties.
It's pretty incredible when you think about it, a game this pozzed has no fat people at all.
there's an obese magical troon in act 3
But obesity is a choice and vitiligo isn't. What did you want them to do, make vitiligo lower your CON?
Not treating a disease or condition is a choice.
Pigment can also come back when you take the monobenzone route, so you'll have to be extra careful for the rest of your life, plus depending on your phenotype you might end up looking like a weirdo
none of these are real treatments, just bandaids because most dermatologists are just a bunch of quacks who only wanna deal with acne
vitiligo can't be spread, you homosexual obsessed freak
>the only 'treatment' vitiligo has are UV sessions
100% False
People like you are the reason most with the condition have this view.
besides going on an endless trial and error with various foods and potential allergens or toxicity screenings, I don't see what else there is anon, mind enlightening me?
I know there's drug trials, but they're rare and they rarely go anywhere. There's one for oral ritlecitinib right now, I bet you a hundred bucks it's going nowhere, at best like 20% of the patients will see SOME improvement. Yet another bandaid like ozpelura
>If it's auto immune it has a treatment
Yes because everyone knows lupus is fricking curable, you fricking moron
Actually, yes.
People aren't going to look up vitiligo when they see it in some slider in game, they're just gonna goof around with it to make ugly characters, it trivializes us while laughing at our misfortunes
a myriad of things could cause it, the jab is irrelevant to this. I didn't get it, and I am strongly against it, go try your poltard shit somewhere else
this, it could be an allergy to something you eat or something in your environment. Also maybe your liver might be sensitive you a specific vitamin. Vitamin A, Vitamin C, Vitamin D are some of the most common ones that might trigger an autoimmune flare up since food manufacturers spike damn nearly everything with them
probably not, they likely happened as a result of some organ like your liver not processing vitamins fast enough causing your immune system to go haywire, and now that you're grown up you're fine since your organs grew
WHERES MY PSORIASIS REPRESENTATION IM NOT BEING VALIDATED >:(
>those people deserve just a little bit of normalization in games where it's applicable
so nowhere lmao
just dont be a dalmatian you moronic frick
God is rewarding you, anon. You're an honorary white now.
Black person I too have vitiligo (even in my face) but unlike you I truly don't care. Stop being a fricking b***h, this slider is just pure fricking cringe and just a waste of resources.
Man up and use a helmet. In real life, I mean.
Sorry Michael but thats not the point. The point is FRICK SELF INSERTERS!
fake and double gay
your image style hasn't changed shitposter-kun, get better material too
go ahead kot say the homosexual slur
>TFW you forget to steal something this week and start to turn white
You can drain the mocha off their skin, but they'll still have the facial features of, and act like the Black person that is at their core.
ytboi cummed on her
she looks so fricking moronic
Being a moronic freak is what sells these days
idk i feel like a dwarf with fricked up skin is more likely than anything else considering they love to dick around where harmful substances are abundant.
but thats neither here nor there when you have 19 year old edgelords in the conversation who try to make a big deal out of a physical deformity. i kinda just dont get it, its not really laugh worthy for me at this point.
You're making characters look gross and weird for no reason. Frick off.
>nooo you cannot make your characters the way you want, that will ruin my completely unrelated characters
It's not just "your characters". Half the npcs in the game are fricking revolting. That's the kind of design you encourage when you start prioritizing ventiligo sliders.
>half the NPCs are exactly as the source material
>"why does my dwarf look like a dwarf? why does my drow looks like a drow? its the vitiligo slider fault"
where did the vitiligo slider touch you, anon?
If the source material included the fricking transvestite Black person, then maybe they should get better source material.
most mythologies have what youre talking about- i genuinely feel like youre too moronic to talk about fantasy if "DA MAN ACTUALLY WAS WOMAN AND BLUE AND ALSO FUG BIRD" is a point of inflammation for you.
The mythologies were describing the insane and logic defying behavior and nature of divine entities. The cultures who believed in such mythologies threw gays into bogs or burned them alive.
Yes.
You wanna know how I got these scars?
>when you haven't committed a crime for a month.
does she have an n word pass or not?
>i find you to be an exceptional individual, my Black person
shes a master of race bending
Looks like she sucked off some fricker who goes by Mr. Bleach.
Imagine slowly turning into a Black person
>turn black
>still stuck with 3 incher
you will never escape your whiteness, gayboy.
Vitiligo is when Black folk get patches of white skin, revitiligo is not actually real.
Anon if I start to turn, I want you to shoot me.
I won't turn into one of those things!
I WON'T!
>Vitiligo (pronounced: vittle-EYE-go) is a skin disorder that causes depigmentation (loss of skin color) in irregular patchy patterns. The disorder itself is rare, affecting only about 0.5% to 1% of the world's population.
I'll give them credit for at least trying to be white
Is there a re-vitiligo slider?
sounds pretty cringe, sis
>can't put moles on your character
>can't change eyebrow color
>can't change breast size
>can't change tiefling tail
>but vitiligo is in along with different wieners
why are modern game devs so fricking moronic?
they're missing obvious basic options but shit nobody cares about is in
it's because the character creation is so bland that they put all the piercings and skin aids in the game
Because the point is not to make a good game, it's to virtue signal
>Dragonborns canonically don't even have tails
>Give them three tail options
>I repeat, there is a Tail option in the character creator
>Do not give it to Tieflings, the race that canonically has a tail
This is after they spent two official dev updates complaining that people didn't use enough Tiefling options
Larian has developed an actual character creator but has activily decided not to included it in the game
>“We never make a character creator [...] specifically for the players, even though we sort of do,” Dubrovina told Kotaku. “First of all, when the production starts, we make it for us. Because we knew that the game was gonna be huge. We knew that there’s gonna be too many characters and we knew we need to customize everyone and be prepared for Dragonborns or similar creatures like that. […] So we kind of know that if a design is requested and there’s gonna be — like in a year — 100 [characters] throughout the game, it’s our job to kind of be prepared to make sure that all of those imps or at least some of those imps look unique.”
>make a full fledged character creator
>remove it from the game before release
same reason they effectively cut 3 whole companions who were already fully voiced from the game
which is...
nearly everything past act 1 karlach was cut because too much of it had to do with upper city
almost everything about minthara was cut/broken, she just loops her initial triggers endlessly for the most part
there was a fully voiced, fully implemented halfling companion that was cut last minute also for act 3 reasons
the only "complete" companions are astarion and shadowheart, everyone else got massive last minute cuts/reworks and even astarion has a bunch of a3 issues so really only shadowheart is functioning "as-intended"
It really is shocking how poorly developed bg3 is. Comparable to cyberpunk even.
yup
it's development must have been chaos
So anyways, what's the Michael Jackson build?
There's no fear when you rock out with your wiener out.
It honestly makes me feel gross. Why did they have to include that crap?
Yea, I noticed that too. I wanted to make a super hot chick for a character and what I got isn't bad, but I felt like I couldn't really get what I wanted.
I WANT A DIRTY UNWASHED ASS SLIDER
Call me when they add a revitiligo slider.
Can you mod the game so the vitiligo slider gets turned higher the more your character does good deeds?
I just wanted my barbarian to have a unibrow.
the cure is simple
praise be the white man for finally inventing a cure for revitaligo
imagine the smell
frick you anon
Black persony is more than just skin color though
does this count as being transracial?
transblack
pronouns: nig/nog
It's just removing brown dye. Laser tattoo removal is harder and more painful for darker skin colors due to the collateral from the dark pigments being focused on
They can laser themselves as white as paper, but you can't hide that Black persony face.
Does that make him smarter too?
Crazy that the VERY same day he got a job, returned the bike he stole, and came back to his kids from getting smokes
>when your n-word pass expires
>the white man's technology
Can you have reverse vitiligo?
yeah, pigmentation
When does it end?
Acne sider?
Psoriasis slider?
Burn scars?
Stretchmarks?
And where are the albino options
>And where are the albino options
You can already pick skin/hair/eye color.
>Acne sider?
>Psoriasis slider?
>Burn scars?
doesn't fallout 4 literally have these?
i wonder what freaks you can make in starfield. vitiligo is so fricking weird as an option when they don't even let you pick different lips/noses/brows/ears
>Psoriasis slider
one can only achieve TRUE immersion when the game constantly reminds you that your scalp itches and your elbows are feeling extra crusty
Don't forget the arthritis
>zoomers will NEVER understand arthritis core kino games
embarrassing
>When does it end?
You‘re right, we should go back to a single character presets. Who needs blonde or red hair? Are we gonna show every recessive gene?
I think we should only allow beautiful presets. I.e., no non-whites and no skin conditions. Also no men, only women. You cans have men but they must all wear face-covering helmets.
Sims 4 has stretchmarks now.
>no eczema slider with bonus charisma debuff and added RTX dandruff particle effects when I move
modern devs not even fricking trying
>magic is real
>vitiligo still exists
>leftoids = ...
games devs will make any slider except boobs and butts, quite sad.
Having busty girls in games is sexist unless they're celebrities getting scanned in.
Such a weird timeline.
Well yeah. Creating a busty girl is sexist. Busts belong to the girls that grew them and you're not allowed to manufacture fictional ones for your own enjoyment. To deny them their Onlyfans is to deny them their birthright.
its really just jealous female devs
Why would you want your characters head to look like a horse wiener?
I CANNOT get immersed in a video game unless my character can have hemorrhoids.
Is there a consequence to being a half-illithid? I just reloaded a save and the fly and other abilites you get are great (mostly qol cause companions take too long jumping thru shit)
It doesnt matter. Eat up.
vitiligo is a funny word to say
As a ginger I really appreciate the shoulder freckles that larian added. People often forget about our disgusting fricking shoulders when adding freckles to a character.
And the Elephantiasis slider???
>"Normalizing" an autoimmune disease.
Vitiligo can be the first sign of a larger underlying autoimmune problem and is often associated with autoimmune thyroid diseases.
One could argue that making people more aware of the existence of Vitiligo is therefore a good thing, because people are talking about it in this thread I have learnt that it's an autoimmune condition and is not merely cosmetic.
I wouldn't have known otherwise
So does psoriasis get better or am I going to end up as a fricking ghoul at some point
>WHATCHA LOOKIN AT SMOOTHSKIN
Auto-immune disorders are often caused by what you eat. Do an extreme elimination diet and see if it gets better.
Last papers point to a correlation between psoriasis outbreaks and metabolic diseases like diabetes or obesity. Are you eating healthy anon? Are you a fat frick?
Funny how many Black dwarfs are in the game. Seems like 80% of the dwarfs are black.
uh sweaty, 1% of the population has vitiligo, you know how much that is? 80,000,000
remember that next time you act like a troonyincelchudjewisraelitepakicope&seether
Why does this game cause so much unrestrained seethe from chudtards?
Probably because it's a cavalcade of homosexualry being paraded as the apex of videogames even though it's a CRPG with awful writing based on fricking 5E
I have to pick between Halsin or Gale... I'm already with Gayle but I wanna ride the bear tbh
That line is so fricking cringe, like holy shit who even writes shit like this?
it's fine
queer fantasy people sound fricking queer
the only truly insufferable char is karlach because she sounds like a fricking zoomer
>queer fantasy people sound fricking queer
How is that fine? Get these prostitutes and gays out of my vidya
ad&d has gay sex tables in official material, you missed the boat by like 4 decades dude
Hyper-socialized women. The line sounds corny and almost insulting to you because it comes off as braggadocious and gross, but to a woman, there is no greater fantasy than a valuable man (as proven by prior conquests) taking special interest specifically in her.
>game has no harlequin ichthyosis slider
I'm thinking these nazis at larian need to get cancelled on twitter for their blatant bigotry.
harlequin babies can grow up? I thought they were doomed to die within like a few days after suffering agonising pain or some shit
We have treatments now, although they don't always work
They are doomed, what you are looking in that anon’s picrel is collodion baby, its basically harlequin fetus lite and compatible with life
I want a leprosy slider.
I want to make a malformed, cruel character marred by constant pain who exacts vengeance indiscriminately on the world around him
The mud slider is called vertiligo now?
when even your skin gets tired of being a Black person it says a lot
how como no one did michel jackson in the game (as an elf) ?
why don't they have a lupus slider as well?
What's the point of having that option? It felt so out of place and they could have replace it with better customization options like being able to boob and butt slide...
Because those people exist and they are hekking cute and valid
You think a treatable condition is cute? What are you a Bug Catcher?
>vitiligo
>treatable condition
Oh sweet summer chud
they couldn't make an actual character creation with face morphs so they gave you this
>safe valid
>hit random character
>every generated woman has a beard, vitiligo, and a dyed tumblr haircut
Why does the weirdest shit become a trend? now character creators all have wiener and vitiligo sliders. and yet, anime shit is still taboo.
>Slider for negligibly rare Black person condition
>No slider for for more common burn scars
?
That is not a slider.
Bug Catchers. People who find diseases and conditions sexually attractive are disgusting.
>ESG slider
>no rosacea slider
>turn ulcerative colitis slider to the max
>can't drink potions any more
any other way of playing is for casuals. are YOU a casual?
great post
yeah youre absolutely correct
its a bit hard to generalize mental illness as it tends to be unique to the individual
but some commonalities are stronger than other and thus used in examples
so again, ?
They really want you to create Michael Jackson. Even went so far as to include a race with one of his many noses in the character creator.
Would have been better if you could choose the secondary skin-tone instead of it having to be white.
It's just so so simple to make a vitiligo slider, that's why it's in so many games.
1/200 people have some form of vitiligo, spend an hour making a slider, they will now buy your game. Simple as
>LOOK, IT'S YOU TOMAR 😀
I used the vitiligo slider to give my Tiefling cow spots so I could pretend she's a cow.
I love how 0.5% of the population has vitiligo and it's fricking everywhere in videogames but like 4% of the population has psoriasis and I don't see a fricking "pink patches of itchy skin" slider anywhere
it's like that one panel from Gantz
>cure Black folk
>/misc/ gets mad that there will be no more Black folk
lol
>shuddenly pol
the frick is with these Black folk
im trying to pay rent but they just wont let me
