World has better graphics and can get it for extremely cheap off various reseller sites.
Rise is the latest entry and therefore the newest and more players enjoying it, better if you want to enjoy multiplayer hunts.
World is complete and just better overall. Rise has some cool things and monsters but since Sunbreak just released you're looking at another year before it's complete.
Cool thanks.
World is already receved it's final update, so it's a bigger game.
Rise is newer, so it has more players. It's also faster paced, so it's also good if you have a non existing attention span

Get world. People still play multiplayer but even single player it’s super fun.
Each weapon is basically it’s own class and very in depth. From being able to jump around/ use a bug to having to micromanage phials, or if you just want to hit something over the head with a hammer worlds does it better than any other mh including rise, plus beautiful graphics and quite a bit of crafting to do.
the problem with DMC is enemies don't punish you. on Call of Duty multiplayer, you will get probably punished if you mess up a shot unlike DMC enemies who just stand there waiting to dial in combos.

It's true that there are differences in range and damage, but the effect on the enemy is usually identical. So prepare to roll again and again, and again and again and again. When you're not rolling you'll generally be getting 1-2 hits in with whatever weapon you choose, hits that usually provoke no response from the boss whatsoever making every weapon basically the same thing apart from whatever damage types and numbers it has. >You go in, you learn the moveset. maybe you die a few times along the way, until you know the boss's moves like the back of your hand. Then you dodge past them, punish at the right times, and win the battle. It's perfectly serviceable gameplay but doing it 20x in one game is just excessive. >I'm not saying you should be able to juggle Hollows or anything, but if the game is going to be so relentlessly focused on action then I have fewer reasons not to just play a better action game.
Was he right, Ganker?
Why the frick is Nioh there?
Anyways, the four most influential Japanese action games would be: >MH Freedom >DMC3 >Either Kingdom Hearts or Ys Oath of Felghana >Dark Souls
God it feels so good seeing ER just own the entire industry. How long before the rest of the antis rope to death over the GOTY award ceremony?! God it’ll be glorious!

>Actual back and forth instead of a punching bag like dmc >no boring mindless grinding like MHW >Good combat unlike elden ring >A good game unlike nioh
Sekiro is the best action game without any BS
>actual back and forth unlike DMC
play on a higher difficulty, also L1 L1 L1 >no mindless grind like MHW
who the frick cares >good combat unlike Elden Shit
I despise Reddit Ring but even that shit has tons of builds and gameplay options, Meanwhile in Cuckiro you just have a crusty ass sword and shitty ass prosthetics >good game unlike Nioh
and certainly not Shitkiro and Nioh mogs the frick outta any fromsoft game. Also for the record. Sekiro has >no replayability'' >no new enemy placement >no new enemy attacks >no new bosses >literally enemies just hitting harder
have a nice day fromhomosexual
Why? Explain in less than 3 sentences.
Prefer not to say.
Ok. Appreciate your feedback.
Always happy to help. Have a great day.
IB Fatalis is my favorite among anything in those 4 games.
>eldung shart anywhere near action
Never played Monster Hunter. Is World a good start or just go straight to Rise?
World has better graphics and can get it for extremely cheap off various reseller sites.
Rise is the latest entry and therefore the newest and more players enjoying it, better if you want to enjoy multiplayer hunts.
What if I plan to pirate thus eliminating cost and multiplayer?
Then definitely world and iceborne
Cool thanks.
You can frick off though. Stupid ESL.

I usually love co-op games but I found MHW singleplayer is more fun than multiplayer.
Haven't tried Rise yet so can't say how it is there.
They REALLY fricked up MHW's multiplayer, especially multiplayer progression
It's much better in rise
How come? If you get a group that knows what they're doing IB co-op is pretty fun. 16 person lobbies are also fun themselves
world is much more beginner friendly. Rise can be easier than world but only if you're already familiar with monhun gameplay.
Not a single good game
Replace Nioh 2 with FF15
But FFXV is not a good game.
dmc5 is the only good one in that list
I unironically found it boring and ended up dropping it. I even played through all of 2.
OP here. sorry meant to post this
>implying DMC5 is bad
Casual detected
nta but DMC V is flawed and see
also frick Eldung Ring aka Dark Souls 3 DLC
Pretty good selection.
It's a wonderful time to be a Japanese game enjoyer.
>Elden Ring
Really, OP? Really?
some morons put sekiro with its 3 attacks into action game category, surely ER with its vast variety beats it
and its an action rpg too so
Quality >Quantity. Simple as
i too, love to clang clang clang enemies till they die from anorexia
Elden turd sticking out like a sore thumb
Elden Kino is this board's GOTY till DD2 and most critically acclaimed jap game. seethe
ER is probably the best "standard" Souls game but Sekiro is the best action game.
I love 3 of those games

Was he right, Ganker?
i dont want to read all of that but probably yea
Now that we have decided Elden Ring doesn't belong with the other three, what game should replace it?
God of War
Lmao
I was expecting that kind of response, what's your suggestion?
A JAPANESE game for starters.
man I don't fricking know I'm half asleep cmon tell me what's a good one?
Even if it's not japanese, god of war is the worst action game i've ever played even DS2 and ninja gaiden 3 were more enjoyable
Why the frick is Nioh there?
Anyways, the four most influential Japanese action games would be:

Soon to be five.

You cant ride a horse in dmc V you baka
Yes you can
Sekiro is better than all of them, it's the fairest and the hardest out of them
Simonseziro is trash

have a nice day fromhomosexual
>Devil May Fart 5
cringe garbage for casuals, punching bags pretending to be enemies standing aruond doing nothing really dangerous.
>Elden Dogshit Ring
LMAO.
>Monster Hunter World: Iceborne
Decent game, nothing special.
>Nioh 2
Excellent game.
Get better taste OP,
about time you arrived and showed these homosexual troons what's up
