The dinos are from long before the tower thingn even happened and they had evolved into something else that died and became the beasts. and all that is assuming that this paradox business is time time travel which hasn't even been confirmed.

You know, given that near the end of the DLC trailer lingered for a moment on that giant glyph in the one cave where Roaring Moon/Iron Valiant spawns, and they're still introducing the Paradox versions of the Legendary Beasts/Swords of Justice makes me think you're supposed to take all three of your game's Paradox Trio there, and that's when you get the fused Paradox Pokemon you see in the Books.
Of course I could just be coping and we'll never have something that cool ever happen.
i will say i looked at the list of paradox mon, i am a bit sad how boring the future ones are. the really are just a mechanized version of existing pokemon, while the primal paradox mons are trying to be wholey new looking variants, not just a shiney new coat of metal
