This new design is the equivalent of a party aunt sort of style, she's already had her rowdy phase where she expressed herself (biker) and now she's less of a rebellious sort but still going for the offkilter yet wild style. After all we had 1 dealing with Angels (Lumen Sage), 2 dealing with Demons (Umbran Witches), so only humans (Purgatory) is left which could be the focus of 3.

I'll be the odd one here and I'll say that I think the best Bayo tracks are the orchestral ones. Those are absolutely amazing and imo trump everything else. I mean, they're composed/overseen by Rei Kondoh after all, the guy behind Okami's and post-Awakening Fire Emblem's soundtracks, and Masami Ueda, the guy behind DMC1.
And instead of posting my favorite track (which is You May Call Me Father), I'll say that my favorite thing about the soundtrack is the usage of the main leitmotif. I get a boner everytime this shit comes up.

The usage of few letimotifs for multiple tracks might be considered lazy by some but to me it's genius with how it invokes the feeling of reminiscence while setting completely different tones for different scenarios. FFXIV is a game that does a similar thing where a different recurring theme is used for each locale, but within the locale you get multiple tracks with completely different tempos and instruments.

I've never played Bayonetta before but something about this game's designs and energy I've seen from trailers seems really endearing and unique.

I'll be the odd one here and I'll say that I think the best Bayo tracks are the orchestral ones. Those are absolutely amazing and imo trump everything else. I mean, they're composed/overseen by Rei Kondoh after all, the guy behind Okami's and post-Awakening Fire Emblem's soundtracks, and Masami Ueda, the guy behind DMC1.
And instead of posting my favorite track (which is You May Call Me Father), I'll say that my favorite thing about the soundtrack is the usage of the main leitmotif. I get a boner everytime this shit comes up.

The usage of few letimotifs for multiple tracks might be considered lazy by some but to me it's genius with how it invokes the feeling of reminiscence while setting completely different tones for different scenarios. I guess it's common practice since it saves up costs but it's effective at creating memorable pieces.
FFXIV is a game that does a similar thing where a different recurring theme is used for each locale, but within the locale you get multiple tracks with completely different tempos and instruments.

bayo 2 runs 60fps on switch, this looks a little more graphically advanced than 2 but it's years into the switches lifetime so they've learnt to optimize for it

Viola using grappling hook in-game means that levels will be designed for it, which means certain chapters will be locked for characters.
Unless they give other characters similar abilities too.
