heroes of newerth had no such thing and it felt so fluid and amazing, LoL has the input lag
its genuinely a masterpiece game and i put thousands of hours into it but i dont have the energy anymore to play it constantly. once in a while is fine.
this game seems great but i got filtered by all the mechanics to keep track of, its all genuinely too much for my tiny brain, i just miss last hits and get mad
also there's no surrender feature

I don't hate it but I've decided playing it simply isn't worth the time, which I find true for most team based multiplayer games. Far too easy and too common for one player to get tilted and ruin the match for everyone else, and when that happens in Dota it takes way too long to get out of that match.

You can be the literal best player in the world at this shit, and playing it solo will still remain a negative feedback loop of stress and wasted time for you. I don't think eating shit 45% of time instead of 50% is an improvement. MOBA genre has probably the most abusive and fricked up methods of psychologically manipulate players, of all imaginable video game genres.
This is legitimately pretty good game for as long as you are playing it with 5 men team where everyone knows their roles, but to play it solo you will have to be both masochistic, which is obvious, and also mentally moronic to not see how exactly it works.
Valve screwed over the Artifact fanbase by cancelling the Artifact 2.0 beta without even allowing users to invite friends like they said they would in January 2021 and does not deserve your financial support for these gross consumer-unfriendly practices.

For me It's that I'm too lazy to read and memorize each heroes skills, passives, skill tree nodes, items, stats, mana usage in early game, etc. It's like at least 100+ hours of reading and memorizing that shit before you can actually play the game. No thanks.
