I wish Miranda's face model wasn't butt ugly. Her voice and body makes me diamonds but that face is terrible. I just sort of have to imagine her as more attractive than she actually is when I play this game.
>Name one flaw.
ending is kind of shit, but where ME2 excels is that its ending is the least shit out of every Bioware game.
also the classes couldve been more distinct and unique. like half of them are basically the same shit with 1 power different or one niche use, leaving you with just "shoot stuff" or "cast spells on stuff" as the 2 main groups of classes.
The animations
That horrible facescanned reporter b***h
Miranda's face
The GayBlack person
Dialog wheel
It's not even an RPG, just a cover shooter except half the game is dialog
The dialog is terribly written
The final boss
>massive tonal shift from the first >death at the start was completely pointless and just an excuse to put KIA in that bullshit trailer >assembling a "squad" without knowing what was through the O4 relay was moronic. What if it had just been a fleet of ships? Just write it so that the IM knows about the base there so he knows what kind of dream team is needed >Not enough guns >Jack is cringe incarnate >reloading retcon >imbalanced classes on insanity >Moral choice system simply forces you into one or the other
It's not even remotely perfect. Great game but not perfect.
The part where Shepard takes his whole team on a shuttle to nowhere so the normandy can get attacked. I mean the plot as a whole is really stupid and full of annoying contrivances but this was the absolute worst instance in the whole series even moreso than the human reaper or kashley yelling at you or the catalyst ex machina.
>assembling a "squad" without knowing what was through the O4 relay was moronic.
Not to mention that it makes no sense for TIM to send you across the galaxy to recruit aliens when he probably has hundreds, if not thousands of cerberus agents he could send along with some ships for the suicide mission. And especially when one of them fricking hates cerberus (jack) or has skills that would be completely useless to blowing up a building sized robot (thane).
>no sense for TIM to send you across the galaxy to recruit aliens when he probably has hundreds, if not thousands of cerberus agents he could send along with some ships for the suicide mission.
That would be equally moronic. Cerberus is an underground terrorist organization. They don't have thousands of soldiers, even in ME2 Miranda and unshackled EDI say they have just over 150 agents, most of whom are noncombatants, organized into 3 (three) cells: Lazarus, Overlord, and a third unknown cell. ME3 having Cerberus be a major galactic player with tens of thousands of troops and warships was a cosmic asspull.
At some point, these contrarian posts will be taken in earnest, and we will be flocked by morons that think this is true. It will also impact what future games Bioware make, to continue down the path of ME3 and Andromeda, because they will believe that character centric games, with super hot women, aren't the type of games you want. So you will get Veilguard: Andromeda next time.
Shoehorning Shepard into a moronic inconsequential B plot. Shepard acting like some sort of rogue a'la Han Solo, rather than a soldier. I believe Omega was one of the first locations they made, before they switched the protag to Shep, and all the interactions there are especially egregious
what? you didn't like fighting the terminator? honestly though ME is more about the journey than the destination, and i think 2 embodies how fun the trilogy was the most
I still liked all 3 games, yeah. I just feel like the suicide mission exists as a (very high budget) side story to the greater narrative they were trying to paint.
Still think of getting the legendary collection, then remember it has origin bullshit.
>what? you didn't like fighting the terminator?
He was actually the best end boss fight in the trilogy. By virtue of ME1 having a Geth leaper, and ME3 not even having one.
Nothing happens in this game after Omega, which is a first area in the game.
This game is about doing side quests for party members. It's a filler game.
Filler game, nothing in it matters in the mass effect story. Would have been a great spin-off game, but it doesn't deserve to be 2. From the end of mass effect 1 to the beginning of mass effect 3 nothing changes.
dogshit gameplay, more restrictive than ME1 and way less fun than ME3.
ME3 was almost perfect gameplay-wise, they just needed to bring back ME1's munition system and integrate it into the weight system and the game would have been a 10/10 (gameplay-wise once again, the story is still shit)
>they just needed to bring back ME1's munition system
It's never happening. It's not even a ME2 thing. It's a franchise directional change. The game itself has nothing to do with it.
There are many flaws.First of all they gutted the planet exploration,Now i know the planets were mostly empty but they could have improved upon that instead of making all planets linear levels in me2.Second they removed most of the rpg mechanics and made it mostly a action rpg.But still i consider it a 10/10 game and nothing will change my mind.
I can't, ME2 is the best in the series
I can't frick Samara.
>I can't frick Samara.
its like saying you cant jump off the plan without parachute dude.
moronic action flick writing
every single thing people complain about in 3 is present in 2
Jack and/or Miranda
The gameplay
The story
jack was way hotter than miranda but the game is written to act like miranda is the hotter one.
I wish Miranda's face model wasn't butt ugly. Her voice and body makes me diamonds but that face is terrible. I just sort of have to imagine her as more attractive than she actually is when I play this game.

the pointless filler story and the thermal clips for morons that couldn't get the hang of shooting in ME1

Not enough quarian sex

That's assuming Bioware won't be getting axed soon
There isn't a mod where I can physically suck quarian toes.
>name one flaw
Story is basically anime filler episode
Gameplay is pop-a-mole homosexualry
Companion recruit quests were cool, but the second quests where their story concludes are all garbage and unfulfilling
>Gameplay is pop-a-mole homosexualry
For you maybe.
>Gameplay is pop-a-mole homosexualry
Got rid of unlimited ammo from the first game
>Name one flaw.
sorry i can't

It's entire story is basically filler that could be removed, nothing is lost from 1 to 3.
This, of course, assumes 3 had been as great as 1.
1 > 3 > 2

The legendary edition completely fricks the lighting and a lot of faces
Just pirate the originals they still work 100% fine
Ye lilbro old gud new bad me grognard

The worthwhile story of Mass Effect ended just before the conclusion to Virmire in the first game, so the story is by necessity fricking awful
I'd argue, exactly because ME2 ditches that part of the story, as best as it can, is actually the better story of the three games.
dogshit gameplay, more restrictive than ME1 and way less fun than ME3.

Yeah but I'm pretty sure there are mods that fix this problem
me2 sucked, the writing was way worse than 1
the partner missions were so contrived, not natural at all. completely took me out of it
that australian chick's accent was fricking awful too
