In my setting there are human mutants and animal mutants.
Human Mutants are mostly human, they might have weird eyes, teeth, or other superficial features, but the fact they are human is obvious.
So for example a human mutant with catlike traits recently came up, her mutations meant she had sharp fangs, cat eyes, slightly bigger ears, and her bone density and muscle density are weird. Her mutation also gave her some minor psychic powers.

Meanwhile an animal mutant is an animal that has mutated to be more intelligent and have different traits.
So for example a dog mutant was introduced a little while ago who was a bipedal rottweiler with thumbs, whose talking was heavily impedes by his dog face, and he had the ability to consume magical energy around him to hulk out.

So while the human mutant was interested in other humans, the animal mutant was interested in other animals and/or peanut butter

No, it looks like an anime girl wearing ears and a tail and painting herself to look vaguely like a tiger. When I say look like an animal I'm not talking about a slight resemblance, I want it to actually look how the animal looks.
            >Many have called Centaurs, Mermaids and Nagas “sexy” though.
I wouldn't really call those animals, nor would I call the people who find them sexy normal.

Now you're just taking my post out of context, if anything they look as much like a human as they look like an animal. But either way, my point was referring to anthropomorphic animals

What was your point? Sure you demanded they look like animals but...that has nothing to do with what the OP said. OP mentioned non-humans being cute, handsome, sexy, which is perfectly possible while keeping them looking like animals.
