Everyone who does the right thing and abides by the social contract by purchasing games is the only reason you have any form of entertainment to pirate in the first place.
you're missing the point
if it goes away, pirates will not care, they will simply move on without a second thought
you are a little boy with no testosterone, you wouldn't understand the concept
Non Americans are such losers. You think Americans don't pirate!? You're moronic. Aside from Brazil and Russia, there's more Americans pirating than other countries. >330+ million population
If 10% of Americans pirate, that's 33 million people. Small countries btfo. That would put the US pirates at 49th for countries by population. Lol.
They claim that 28% of Americans pirate. So that's about 92 million people. Lol. American piraters would be the 17th country by population. 92 million is more than every single european country except Russia. If you subtracted out those pirates from the US that leaves us with 238 million people which is still larger than Brazil and Russia. Get fricked. Learn math and statistics before you talk shit.
You can go here, flip through the days and you'll see its far less than 10%, it doesnt even hit 1% of US traffic. from what Im seeing its about .25%, which is roughly 825000 people
It was a lot more common before ISPs cracked down. I remember 10 years ago when they started sending letters. You have to go more out of your way now. Why would a non American country's ISP (especially Russia) give a shit about pirating and pirating largely American media. The same thing happens with crime and other stats. It's harder to fly under the radar in the US versus some other countries.
It's harder for Americans to pirate now. The right side of that meme is behind the times basically. They're pirating like it's the 2000s. We already did that and now they have cracked down.
No it isn't. The only thing that happens is your ISP sending a letter telling you to stop because they are legally required too, but 9/10 times won't do shit.
In what way is it "harder to pirate" nowadays? I've been pirating games directly to my SteamDeck all week since I got it.
No it isn't. The only thing that happens is your ISP sending a letter telling you to stop because they are legally required too, but 9/10 times won't do shit.
This. And only certain israelite companies will even bother, for example Bethesda/Zenimax Media.
What are your favorite Vita games? As one of the few kids who actually had one Soul Sacrifice changed me as a human being.
Also, Freedom Wars hurts me because it was so close to being cool but constantly shat the bed by presenting an incredibly cool setting and then shitting the bed with the actual story.
Tales of Hearts R was the game that made me get a Vita. I played Vesperia on 360 and loved it but there weren’t any other Tales games on the console (meanwhile the PS3 got a frick ton. “No games” my ass) so since I was already interested in getting a Vita and Hearts R plus Innocence R we’re exclusive, I thought “why not”. From a gameplay perspective I like Hearts R more than Vesperia, it has my favorite battle system in the series and I don’t think it will be topped.
>Those games are preserved perfectly on the internet
That's not a given. Only the popular stuff is and not being popular does not mean it's not worth preserving.
>#ForeverPhysical
uh huh, because physical copies don't have any problems and the consoles that can play them also last forever, right? Digital hoarding and communal online databases are the only reliable form of preservation.
wow that annoys me, was even considering getting a vita again because i had such a big library of games i bought. man i regret so many purchases and preorders over the years, probably would have saved myself thousands of dollars
I unironically did the same. I used to go to garage sales between 2017-2019 nearly every weekend looking for games, by far the most autistic shit Ive ever done. and my shelf is dusty because I emulate all of those games anyway. Theres literally 0 point to collecting when emulation is so good, and even if you dont like emulation downloading an ISO is much easier to play on your PS2 or whatever.
>I-ignore that piracy is a thing though otherwise we'd have no reason to be in business
I can download any PS3/PSP/Vita game if I really wanted to online. I know these homosexuals have to justify their "physical copy of an indie/old game" business model but you'd think they'd do a better job.
probably only nintendo because anything nintendo related is more interesting for the masses.
i still find that whole ordeal pretty funny though because the eshop was like 95% games people dont give a shit about since its all garbage.
>sell them to people directly from their own site
That's a monkey's paw wish if I've seen one.
Have fun installing 20 different israelited DRM launchers.

LRG is a company that makes it a part of their rules to never do more than one print of a game so that they can be more valuable to collectors. They create artificial scarcity, they don't care about preservation.
Physical games aren't forever either though. 6th gen was the last one where you could just pop in the disc and play. Nowadays you have to suffer: >games are incomplete out of the box >day one patches >updates and content dripfeed >DLC >~~*live-services*~~ >microtransactions, lootboxes and gacha, battle passes >your games don't work anymore if the ~~*licensing server*~~ stops working (see PS3 and PS4 RTC fiasco preventing games from booting)
Not to mention >physical media breaks >copy protection and DRM prevent backups from working >hardware breaks
Of course, but just like all games with consoles that aren't supported anymore, you are left with the choice of piracy or buy like a little homosexual.
Don't let their doublespeak sway you. What they mean to say is they hate people playing old vidya, but they won't state it outright since that would garner a ton of bad PR.
Everyone who does the right thing and abides by the social contract by purchasing games is the only reason you have any form of entertainment to pirate in the first place.
have a nice day parasite.
you're missing the point

Thanks for paying for my games. I really appreciate it.
Literal Black person rhetoric.
>gib me dats... FO FREE
wrong
a Black person would fully rip off the merchant of his wares
yeah you're right, thanks for buying a copy of that one game for me buddy

It's literally as easy as googling "[game name] download". Maybe add a "free" or a "-buy -purchase" if flooded by rubbing hands.

Also, Freedom Wars hurts me because it was so close to being cool but constantly shat the bed by presenting an incredibly cool setting and then shitting the bed with the actual story.
Sad that soul sacrifice will never get a remake because of the conman

Thank frick Nintendo is the most emulated company so I don't have to worry about this bullshit
EXPONENTIAL STACKING homie SANGUINE HAND
It doesn't matter. Those games are preserved perfectly on the internet, and they'll exist until humanity dies out. I think you are a Black person.
>Those games are preserved perfectly on the internet

Pic related is right off the NPS homepage.

Nothing that a responsible user can't take care of.
not my problem
Why are Switch games in their own dedicated folder? Shouldn't the be in ROM?
too big, only have like 200 gigs left on that drive
>tfw about 3 or so TB myself
My fricking man, I kneel, all these digital store gays should be culled
Is 3 TB enough for everything up to Gen 6 + Switch?
everything? no
everything worth downloading (exclusives plus good versions of multiplats)? yes
>From Earth
hold on a sec
>Digital purchases are not forever.
>project64
Parallel Launcher is said to be more accurate, give it a try.
The problem is finding them, no one wants to share.
>israelites blast propaganda everywhere warning you that they'll put you behind bars for being a good neighbor
gee, I wonder why
It is not hard to find at all and you are an actual fricking moron for not knowing the absolute basic on how to find a download, glowie tier shit
Sony's lack of backwards compatibility is the bigger issue. There's no reason you shouldn't be able to play all your digital PSP games on a PS5
wow that annoys me, was even considering getting a vita again because i had such a big library of games i bought. man i regret so many purchases and preorders over the years, probably would have saved myself thousands of dollars
>Limited Run Games
>LimitedCuckGaymes
>tfw I have rom dumps that "collectors" paid thousands to lock away in their crusty basements
Should be hunting season on these morons
>steam still around
All I need, thanks.
can't you still download them?
download them from what? the store is no longer going to exist. the servers hosting the games are going bye bye.
from the thousands of servers mirroring the roms? moron
well yeah, of course piracy is going to always be an option.
>piracy is going to always be an option.
pfffffft. HAHAHAHAHAHA
Pirate while you still can, pirategays.
idk, never used them, i'd assume there's a store to buy shit and a separate library to download shit from
archive.org
>Download them
What would be the point if you can't run them moron?
Shit that means NoPaystation will stop working as well
>tfw stopped collecting plastic trash just when terabytes became cheap
Can't imagine making physical room for 5000 games
I unironically did the same. I used to go to garage sales between 2017-2019 nearly every weekend looking for games, by far the most autistic shit Ive ever done. and my shelf is dusty because I emulate all of those games anyway. Yeah buy from the gays that scalp their own games and promise you shit they never ship, downgrade or straight up memoryhole.
Your life also isn't forever. It's service will end eventually, just like the digital storefronts you grew up with. Time to let go
Just emulate/pirate
If they close stores they don't care about making profit anymore, therefore why should you care either
>I-ignore that piracy is a thing though otherwise we'd have no reason to be in business
I can download any PS3/PSP/Vita game if I really wanted to online. I know these homosexuals have to justify their "physical copy of an indie/old game" business model but you'd think they'd do a better job.
>company that produces expensive physical copies fear mongering about digital'
hmmm....
Is the completionist going to blow 40k buying all the shit on the PSN or is that reserved for Nintendo only?
probably only nintendo because anything nintendo related is more interesting for the masses.
i still find that whole ordeal pretty funny though because the eshop was like 95% games people dont give a shit about since its all garbage.
You know what is forever, fren? The infinite sea.
Does anyone remember when people were saying you'd never be able to emulate PS3 games because of the cell architecture
More of a problem for console exclusive digital games, like P.T.
I pirate DRM-free games and pay for DRM games I want to play.
Simple as.
I don't remember the last game i payed for.
It was 15-20 years ago i think.
>FOMO Run Games
>YOU DON'T OWN NOTHING GOYIM
sure feels merchant in here
Yeah, but LRG are also worthless censoring fricks.
Publishers should just sell them to people directly from their own site. Frick meddling middlemen.
>sell them to people directly from their own site
That's a monkey's paw wish if I've seen one.
Have fun installing 20 different israelited DRM launchers.
Well that's why I haven't paid for a Sony product in years. Frick em.
They're grifting scammers

Can someone please fricking find this theme before it closes?
I am losing my mind over it, how has this not been archived at all??
Good thing I'm master race.
