Anywhere you can, you will run into road blocks eventually just push the paths as far as you can until you get things to unlock them

This game had awful input delay when I tried it on pc. It makes me wonder if the people who cry about the controls being bad just never fixed it and played the whole game like that.

It was distractingly terrible when I first booted it up. Changing it to windowed mode didn't make the controls feel that different from DS1 to me (I played them both back to back).

yeah, It's a very tacky and poorly implemented mechanic. And if it werent bad enough that its in all the souls games, they felt the need to bring it to Sekiro and Elden Ring too. I havent played AC6 yet but I wouldnt be surprised if that had some iteration of it.

Shoutout to the best gimmick boss in Fromsoft history besides Divine Dragon and Rykard, the frantic pace of the encounter and having to divvy your time between fighting the skeletons and running through the maze makes Chariot a rush to fight
I'm butthurt that this fight early on was presented as if it was just something that would happen when walking through some tunnel area and that's what everyone thought it would be, but instead it's exclusively a boss fight contained to the donut it takes place in.
Maybe at some point when that area had more going on in it with more exits from the donut it would have been a hazard that you could optionally kill.
The cutscene from this fight implies it was one of the 4 great ones.
