It was the real capital, but everyone hung out in IF because it was more convention. When the ah was added people stayed because it was the done thing. It wasn’t until after expacs launched that took people away from IF that stormwind recovered. You didn’t play vanilla

not that I play this slop any more, but I did play classic with some bro's I knew in original vanilla and if you played that you would know Ironforge was always more populated then SW.
Keep an eye on the 5 second rule, priests get a huge amount of spirit and outside of Shadowfiend you don't have an active ability to get mana back. When healing don't be afraid to let a tank get below 50% HP. Don't throw PW:Shield on Warrior/Feral tanks unless it's an emergency, they don't get rage else.

Yeah always go 5/5 Spirit Tap as your first talent. You can also use Holy Nova to snipe low level mobs in dungeons to proc it. Early on Holy with Spirit Tap and Wand Spec is the play, after 40 you can opt for deep Shadow.
I don't mind playing healer if there's groups for dungeons, might go shadow for soloing at some point but considering they supposedly added a ton of dungeon items I kinda just want to run dungeons to see all of them. Might do a different class to see all the new quests at some point
