Literally never happens. I have thousands of games on dust 2 and I've died through the door maybe 5 times in total, and that was because I was being a moron. They are changing shit just to change shit.

I mean whatever makes you happy but truth is having to deal with possibly t spawn while lower mid and cat and upper mid exists makes even sitting cross hell
this change made holding mid slightly easier for ct while removing some homosexual's power to piss in the bucket playing one handed at t spawn

Idk I never had a problem holding mid or crossing mid unless dude was walling. This change let's you get lower risk free making b even more of a death trap. You already went a 60% of the time, now it will be worse. Plus there will just be awp gays top mid instead, this doesn't stop them

You were never supposed to hold mid as CT, that always had been T territory. Either your teammates ask too much of you or you're a moron taking obvious unfavorable engagements and complain if you don't win from it. Less coordinated teams don't push mid doors until mid rounds. If you want control over cat then sit near scaffolding and watch from there.
how many times have you successfully killed the gay sitting t spawn through the door? there are a few wallbang spots you can do to get a lucky HS but realistically 9 times out of 10 you're not gonna hit shit. same goes for them. they're not gonna know where you're standing exactly so it's just not gonna happen.

the only times i ever get shot through the door is when cross isn't smoked. the situation you're talking about doesn't happen because you don't ever get shot by an awp through the door. you have the same chance of hitting them in t spawn. and i guarantee that doesn't happen either lol

it's the very first thing in the game that makes you stop and think, "oh shit this bad thing is happening to me, how do i deal with it?" and from then on the entire game is like that - exploring what you can and can't do, what the enemies are going to try to do and how you can counter it (oh there's an awper back of site, maybe i can smoke him off... oh someone always hides in hell in mirage... maybe i can bounce a molly off this thing to burn them out?)
I dare someone to explain why this is better than making the double doors longer, so that T cant spawnkill CT, but can still punish the CT that try to rush lower tunnels
