I use it to mean the current trend in AAA titles where literally every texture (and at worst model) has to be scanned from real life or made to look as close to it as possible without any artistic input whatsoever.

AC games were never all that good. But if you're a fan of AC games you will like AC6. If you're going into this think its a Souls game you will be very dissapointed
I’ve never played an AC game before and I’m getting burned out on the Souls formula so I’m excited to see how they’ve adapted years of refinement to mechs or whatever the frick we’re calling these things. Not being reskinned ER is a good thing.
