Wrong. OP. I played on some shitty gameboy emulator 20 years ago that was pretty abysmal. PCSX2 is only the second worst emulator.
Works on my 11 year old machine.
It might not be as good as DuckStation but it works fine. Recently played some of my favorite games on it upscaled and with decent performance.

It's actually pretty good now, the opengl backend has acceptable accuracy.
You can't really blame them for failing an impossible task. PS2 is simply impossible to emulate well on standard hardware.
