I only watched the anime, so maybe I missed something or it's different, but why is Sakura's grandfather and shadow only relevant in her route and have no relevance in the others?
Kirei is an unironically shit villain and I am consistently baffled by people who like him. He screams evil from the moment you meet him, and his whole plan is to summon satan because he's bummed that he's a sociopath. Dude needs someone to come up to him and tell him to take his fricking meds. It was always so annoying how no one was able to win an argument with him when, again, his plan was Saturday morning villain tier.

NTA, but I remember reading years back (and this might be bullshit) that the original plan was two VNs: one with Fate and UBW, and another with Heaven's Feel and the proposed Illya route.
Heaven's Feel is a more complete ending than UBW, UBW just builds up on Shirou's character and ideals. Skipping Heaven's Feel is like skipping the last chapters in a book, you're missing the climax and some of the highest points in the vn.
Does anyone just feel fatigued with FGO? It's just so dull now. Koyan's event was just so milquetoast and standard, LB7 really didn't spend the ORT hype (that had been built up for a decade now) on anything worth a damn, and Ordeal Call is just unimaginably fricking dull and literally just a halfbaked excuse to not finish the damn arc already.
I dropped FGO after finishing Spring Breeze. It was the perfect event and I knew they were never going to top that.
