>Franziska, Maya, Pearl, Monomi, Gumshoe
useless, peanut gallery >Edgeworth, Mia
Potentially able to see through any trick/figure out the truth, also could be crafty if needed to lie >Phoenix, Hajime, Naegi
roughly similar level of skill at figuring out the truth/bullshitting
Makoto is extra lucky, Phoenix can detect lies if you don't apply magatama gameplay limits(he might also be as lucky as Makoto) >Nagito
Edgeworth level intelligence, the best at coming up with twisted bullshit and figuring out the truth, negative charisma stat that might ruin everything
reality-warping levels of luck >Chiaki
As an AI she should be better at logic than most humans, plus she is supposed to be an expert at psychology which might be useful if needing to trick someone, I would put her slightly under Nagito/Edgeworth level >Kirigiri
Also Edgeworth level, will completely mog Gumshoe out of relevancy in any trial, will be willing to lie and manipulate to get her way, could realistically forge evidence
It depends on if the client is innocent or not but my money is on DR, the lineup is more stacked while the group in that AA pic is mostly useless
Top, obviously. At the end of the day the Danganronpa characters are high schoolers figuring out other high schoolers. Phoenix and Edgeworth are seasoned veterans who have seen everything and Phoenix in particular has never unintentionally lost a case. It's just a case of different power levels.
Phoenix and Edgeworth are mid thirties in SoJ.
Franziska is a bum which is why I didn't mention her, Edgeworth is the only prosecutor worth his salt in AA.
Well, if we're gonna count the last few games then yeah
I was just thinking of the original trilogy
In Danganronpa everyone is a prodigy so I think that can put them at the same level as early AA characters
Danganronpa characters basically have super powers in whatever talent they have, just calling them prodigies seems like an understatement.
Characters like Junko, Kirigiri and Shuichi would have talents that overlay enough for them to win, especially if the defendant is innocent then all the "ultimate hope" characters bullshit would make them win.
Still a bum and a von Karma nepo baby at that.
Franziska's most threatening moments are when she withholds evidence and threatens the witnesses which says it all. Probably the only prosecutor worse than Franziska is Klavier who misread his job description and is practically an aide to the defense. There's also Godot who has great portrayal in Phoenix's mind but is totally incompetent in reality. He gets the caveat of really not being an actual prosecutor to begin with, though.
His luck doesn't work that way, it oscillates between incredibly "positive" and incredibly "negative" luck, but with the "positive" luck slightly winning out (in the eyes of Nagito).
Eg. Nagito's parents died in a freak accident, but he won a hundred million in the lottery after their deaths.
Nagito might just land on negative luck in OP's thought-experiment and tank the entire case, his luck isn't just a deus ex machina.
>Nagito's parents died in a freak accident, but he won a hundred million in the lottery after their deaths.
This actually being true is questionable. Nagito himself says he only wanted to frick with Hajime by telling him all those stories. In the actual game Nagito's luck is always positive
Who's the judge? It can't be Udgey or Monokuma.
But either way my money is on Team Ace Attorney because Danganronpa just flat out sucks as a detective/courtroom sim game. (Its charm lies elsewhere.) Literally anyone in AA, anyone, would steamroll over Danganronpa in a battle of logic. Even Larry would look at "11037" and call everyone fricking moronic.
Team Ace Attorney. It's not like any Danganronpa character is THAT impressive in the class trials nor are the Rube Goldberg machine murders particularly hard to solve to begin with.
Lore-accurate Phoenix Wright would honestly solo the Danganronpa universe because that's literally his character. Wright fought against the world for his clients and somehow emerged with a (basically) spotless record.
This, it's also important to remember that the playing field in the Ace Attorney games is extremely heavily biased in favor of the prosecution, while it's extremely heavily biased against the blackened in the Danganronpa games. Penis Wright won all his cases even though they were literally rigged against him which is obviously more impressive than winning cases in Danganronpa when they are almost always rigged against the culprit.
and thats every case in ace attorney, there are so many instances in AA where the authorities are just like "lol no you dont even get to investigate". is there even a single danganronpa case where monokuma outright forbids the students to collect all the evidence? whenever danganronpa cases are "rigged" against the detectives it's more just a "you don't get to win" affair as opposed to the entire system being heavily biased against them in every facet.
>1-4: Monokuma steals the suicide note, then leaves a fake one to make Aoi try to kill everyone out of anger >1-5: Junko frames Kyoko for murder, ends the trial early after she realizes Makoto won't betray her, and then convicts the wrong person on purpose (or in the bad end, kills Kyoko despite her being innocent) >2-5: Nagito rigs a case that's impossible to solve via evidence, and can only be solved via motives >2-6: Junko outright admits she only obeyed the rules because the computer forced her to >V3-1: Tsumugi kills Rantaro because he knows too much, then frames Kaede to get her out of the way >V3-5: Monokuma tricks Shuichi into investigating the murder because he doesn't know what happened himself >V3-6: Tsumugi just admits that everything is bullshit anyway lmao

You're forgetting about Maya's and Pearl's ability to summon the murdered person to question them about what happened.
>Akane is the client
> guilty in this timeline
Ace Attorney bros, we're fricked.
Akane did literally everything wrong
I see Matt Engarde 2.0.
If the client is guilty, bottom. If he’s innocent, top.
frick off danganautists
go back to
Are the steam ports with the redrawn sprites a good way to play AA?
>redrawn
It's a lazy upscale, just emulate
Top, obviously. At the end of the day the Danganronpa characters are high schoolers figuring out other high schoolers. Phoenix and Edgeworth are seasoned veterans who have seen everything and Phoenix in particular has never unintentionally lost a case. It's just a case of different power levels.
You say that but Phoenix and Edgeworth are only like 23-24
Hell, Karma is 18
Phoenix and Edgeworth are mid thirties in SoJ.

She works for Interpol.
Still a bum and a von Karma nepo baby at that.

Nagito's luck is real so he can probably just pull irrefutable evidence literally out of his ass.
Dangan Victory.
His luck doesn't work that way, it oscillates between incredibly "positive" and incredibly "negative" luck, but with the "positive" luck slightly winning out (in the eyes of Nagito).

>Larry outsmarting Nagito
Come the frick on
They're basically the same character, except Larry isn't a edgy loser virgin and he has better hair.
Kirigiri and Komaeda would carry the Danganronpa team
Team Ace Attorney. It's not like any Danganronpa character is THAT impressive in the class trials nor are the Rube Goldberg machine murders particularly hard to solve to begin with.

You say that, but the killing games are also rigged so that the fifth or sixth cases are unwinnable, but the heroes always win anyway.
and thats every case in ace attorney, there are so many instances in AA where the authorities are just like "lol no you dont even get to investigate". is there even a single danganronpa case where monokuma outright forbids the students to collect all the evidence? whenever danganronpa cases are "rigged" against the detectives it's more just a "you don't get to win" affair as opposed to the entire system being heavily biased against them in every facet.

What about all those times Phoenix presented evidence out of his ass and the judge just took them as fact for no reason
He still had to estabilish solid facts so the evidence could be relevant to the case and his arguments.
>adults vs kids
Yeah I'm going with the adults, this shit isn't Persona
Kristoph and Morgan are basically 'ronpa characters and Mr Nick fricked them both in the butt no problem!
