It is basically your standard fare dragon quest expy setting, with the generic jap fantasy shit like muh demon lord and whatever. It's gimmick of following around the autistic and aloof elf is however rather neat and nice change of pace. Frieren is pretty adorable character and is surprisingly not that sexualized in the show.
Overall it is pretty comfy and slow paced show thus far.

20 fricking years ago most online games had user hosted servers that could see intervention occur mid match because the moderators would be playing the game as well. now that we're in the company matchmaking hell you can be punished for leaving a game if someone is throwing, meaning you're forced to play a losing game with a sperg. depending on the game matches can go for awhile, trapping you in.

I would define "toxic" behavior as doing things within the game to ruin it for other people, namely your team. Example, purposely inting/feeding in a MOBA or deliberately using a glitch/exploit to lag the game (such as by spawning millions of summons or otherwise spamming). That shit definitely ruins games, but someone being mean on the internet is par for the course
I personally believe that Dota 2 low priority queue is the most elegant solution to player behavior ever devised. And is infinitely more effective than banning people or putting fricking malware like EAC into your game (idk if Dota has malware, I just like the concept of low priority)
