other than the fact that blighttown is the worst area in any souls game, dark souls's bonfire trash was so fricking horrible.
it's like the awkward experimental game between demon's souls and bloodborne, but got almost nothing right.

I found the anor londo archer bit much much more difficult lol probs died like 20-25 times trying to get past it.
yeah the framerate sucks and from should have removed the mosquitos and lightened the draw distance or something but the combat’s slow enough that it isn’t a dealbreaker.

Im a remasterbabby but the first time I did the whole blighttown area from the gaping dragon exit all the way down, being extremely slow and careful and using the spider shield and died I think once before reaching the bottom. I had two or three toxic heal moss from the butterfly area so the mess ups I had with the dart frickers were barely an issue. Was that a problem with how shitty fpstown was in the original?
Im not trying to sound like a pro player homosexual in fact I probably died around 15 times to the archer b***h in anor londo and around 25-30 to ornstein and smough. Also died like 10-15 times in the duke's archives to the wizard homosexuals but blight town was never an issue to me. If youre careful its not that big of a deal and once you're replaying it, going down from firelink takes like 25 seconds. Going up is a b***h though, I'd rather kill queelag and bone up all the way up to firelink rather than lighting the bonfire on BT and had to deal with the dart motherfrickers

Blighttown rocks, framerate issues and mosquitos aside it’s one of my favorite parts of the game

You don't need any poison stuff, just heal through it. I never used the moss thingies
