i'd honestly rather play morrowind or daggerfall again but i just finished a playthrough of morrowind so i'm just fricking around in oblivion with all it's fricked up 'features'

F3 has atmosphere, at least it's first half. And it's still more fun than Starfield.
I guess this is the designated FO3 thread? So let's clear some things up: the story and campaigns, and many of the missions in 3 suck. It's so god damn stupid and breaks immersion. There's no cohesion ot the map as each little square is like it's own universe, and there's no attempt to explain how anyone survives. there's also a paltry assortment of weaponry, and some bizzare choices like .32 short pistol, and a long rifle using the same ammo.
Now the GOOD side:
Absolute frick ton of high level enemies all over. Lots of mercenaries in combat armor, tons of super mutants, tons of ghouls, tons of power armored enemies, tons of random encounters and events. How many times do you face anyone who can defend themselves in New vegas? the hit squads and that's it.
Combat armor? Only if you anger the Van Graffs. Power Armor? Only if you anger the Brotherhood.

New Vegas is the only good 3D Fallout and that's in spite of its taped together ugly engine
