I was gifted the first game when i got my ps4 (shortly bedore the PS5 came out) after not touching a modern game since the wii stopped being a thing. Honestly did enjoy the gameplay and loved the mecha designs but same as this anon's friend said. The story and characters were lame so while I got my worth out of the game my interest ended there.
