Unity already forces devs to include spyware in their games that you can only turn off by modifying your shipped DLLs and essentially violating Unity's ToS. I doubt any Unity dev actually cares since they were already OK with shipping their customers spyware. There'll be some humming and hawwing for a few weeks but everyone will throw up their hands and just keep using Unity because Unity devs are sheep that don't know how to do anything without the asset store.

Why would the opposite happen? Considering on acquisitions you are generally overpaying for whatever you are buying, otherwise they would not be selling to you, which means you just burnt a pile of your companies worth, in hopes of the aquisition making back more money? So why would the stock rise as soon as you burnt part of your actual cash?
