Okay so despite saying I was demoralized that my teams sucked I ended up finishing the last few rounds in the Colosseum to unlock the big b***h and tomorrow I will make my new squads. I'll use a lot of the help from the last thread, so thanks for that anons.
But other than meme teams or prebuilt ones, what "clicks"? Like, lets say I have one cav team right, I figure that's a given. And a flight one. That's physical damage mostly. Should I make teams that have purely magic offensive? Should I try to combine the two, half and half with a support?
While I was initially a bit broken and was ready to just copy meta teams I also want to sorta learn what makes things tick. What I should aim for.
Just make good individual units or pairs. I don’t get how you have issues, the game is easy and if you cleared the colosseum without cheesing you can beat the final boss.
Yunifi + cat ear user is a good 2 unit combo. Give yunifi a plume if she doesn’t go first. Give her any of the 25 might bows because she’s the best archer.
Whats your level? If you are low then your teams are going to struggle if they are playing fair. You have to work on moronic bullshit to cheese the AI, just because your normal teams cant handle a five man squad of people fifteen levels above them with forged weapons doesnt mean they suck.
First of all, read the in-game guide (Game Tips > Battle)
Honestly, I never know how to answer these broad questions. I think the anons that struggle are making fundamentally the same kinds of mistakes, though, and are not paying attention to the same fundamental things.
In a nutshell, a good squad is a consistent squad. There's no opportunity for variability in it.
I think this is why field attacks like Trinity Rain and Glacial Rain are so popular. Properly set up, they're very consistent win conditions.
Now, they're not the only consistent methods by a long shot, but they're perhaps the most obvious and easiest to set up.
Think about it: a global freeze effect. If you can make sure that something like that 1. goes first (initiative) and 2. doesn't miss (true strike), you can't actually get hurt at minimum. Where's the opportunity for variability there? You just permanently stole the enemy's actions, until you strike them again, which you don't have to do.
So at that point, what matters? Killing anything that survived. Which is easily solved by tactics and additional squad members.
So, in every squad, you need to move first, not miss, and then actually kill things somehow. That's where it gets complicated and interesting and potentially inspires creativity. But that's all you're ever really doing - moving first, not missing, killing. The rest is details.
It's not fricking fair man. How is this 17 year old blue haired fricker bagging a banging a super hot witch a century older than him. It's NOT FRICKING FAUR
Alain on his own is a catch since he is good looking and kind, but being a pit bawd is what seals the deal is why so many women want him after one or two interactions.
she's the equivalent of a middle aged woman that's a hardass to all the young guy dark elves around her because she's supposed to train them. not hard to imagine why she's single.
I think it works decently in her case since she spent her entire life being Rosalinde’s servant. I feel like she is one of the chars that would benefit a lot from a third rapport to build up on that, the stoic and cool servant finding herself overwhelmed by feelings and wanting something for herself even if it goes against what the master wants is a solid set up.
>Realistic romance
Doesn't exist anymore
I'm not against wish fulfilment, but it just could be a little more believable. 6000(?) years and no one was ever remotely nice to her? What kind of buttholes are elves?

She was probably just too distant since she focused so much on her job as both a bodyguard and instructing young soldiers. Probably easier for random males to hit on the generic fencers instead.
Still very much focused on wish fulfillment, but elves give me the idea that they dont really think about romance that much due to their long lifespan. We never see an actual elf couple afaik, it is always elf x human.

6000 is probably a bit much. speaking of age do we actually know how old the elves are? I think we're limited to relative age like ithilion being younger than most of the others and lhinalagos being around eltolinde's age if not a little older.

Everybody in the party wasn't there during the first Zenorian conquest, so they're all younger than eight centuries.
No old people in Elfheim seem to have anything to say about the old war, so I guess nobody is that old.
My guess is that Raylandor and Gladamir are a bit over over two centuries, the twins and Leoh a bit under, and Ithilion could be Yahna's father.
>true zion >know what I am doing >already at drakengard, no one die yet >"hey this is pretty easy" >one squad step one toe into enemy archer range >"Arrow Rain" >entire back line is gone
What a videogame
Is replacing Rolf with a featherarrow worth it? I don't use him as lead for assists but his arrow rain is nice against the fliers in Albion, he one shots them.
has anyone completed the class registry 100%? do you get anything for it? also side note, there are a few of wacky woohoo alt generics you can get like a legionnaire with horns and a thief with a visor.
featherbows don't output that much damage, have a lower ceiling for the amount of things they can naturally hit, and don't have truestrike. they're mostly there to enable flimsy frontlines like mercenaries. they're very different units aside from the fact they both use bows.
How do you savor a game? By running in circles on the overworld? I full cleared the map.

Cute and canon, i did this as well.
I’m glad the ending confirms he marries her instead of trying to tip tap around something everyone expects already.
I think most players stationed unique units in the towns they met them besides some like Ridiel and Fodoquia who were wronged by their respective hometowns or units that just happened to be near a town but don't really show any sort of attachment to it like that Galadmir who was just stalking you.
He's old enough to be her father and he feels responsible about her life because he's the one that dropped her in Palevia to begin with, stop obsessing with sex.
>Alain takes the throne >Restoration work begins in earnest >A bunch of construction workers from Cornia are hired to work in Elheim >They collaborate with the elves, doing a good job returning their towns and cities to their former glory >It doesn't take long before female elves take note of them >And start flirting with them >The workers ended up settling down in Elheim with an elven wife.
Elves are dangerous.
ppl with day jobs are finishing the game
nips that want physical and missed out are probably starting to get their hands on the game
those are my guesses.
in the class registry there's an entry for mille as a breaker, but how do you actually get mille? doesn't she just leave after you recruit nina? will she join if you reject nina?
Why do half Black folk that don't create or contribute content always whine? This is why every last member of your mongrel fricking race will be purged.
>To resist or to yield >they offer you a third path
I am in two minds about this. Obviously I'm going to do what's in the spoiler, but my question is "Did you?"
Additionally, why did they even do this? It feels half-assed if you can just bypass the quandary by picking a third option.
>but my question is "Did you?"
yes. I wanted a bigger challenge.. >Additionally, why did they even do this?
in ye olde fire emblem(100%) and tactics ogre(IIRC) you get a choice between 2 units and one locks out the other. they were harkening back to that.
You guys weren't kidding. That was a really fun map.
Bastoras in general has the hardest maps with the one you just did and a fleeting dream's. Albion's map design is simpler, hell the last main battle in Albion is quite literally a narrow straight line with unpassable mountains to stop flyers from rushing the boss.
>but my question is "Did you?"
yes. I wanted a bigger challenge.. >Additionally, why did they even do this?
in ye olde fire emblem(100%) and tactics ogre(IIRC) you get a choice between 2 units and one locks out the other. they were harkening back to that.
>game mentions hot springs >they drew a hot springs background and assets >only used in one postgame scene with the bear and wolf sitting in it >we probably could have had hot springs events with every girl but the ethics and dei department vetod it
What a shame
Sanatio/Alain rapport also features the hot springs, them + Lex chill there and Sanatio gets mad because he slips.
Def strange we never get to use one.
people say that only fighters suck but I have yet to see a single person use a featherstaff, while I have seen featherbows and feathershields used plenty
Are they the worst class? They seem like Clerics but somehow worse.
People don't use angels because 1. no one is retooling their squads that late in the game and 2. people generally prefer named units and the only named featherstaff is recruited about 15 minutes before the credits roll
I think Warriors and Gladiators suck ass in this. Warriors are good for killing Hoplites but suck at everything else. Gladiators do frick all for damage.
Redpill me on Power Belt Doom Knight. I can't get Toughness to proc reliably at all, he'll have PP and be below the health threshold, then just die anyway.
is it at the top of his skill list? He might be using something else instead

All he has is Toughness and Vengeance, Toughness at the top with a requirement to be at 75% hp or less so it's more lenient than the default 50%. It seems like follow-up/pursuit attacks just keep barreling over Toughness, I'm guessing it just defends specifically against active attacks and not passive follow-ups or something.
Anonymous
>It seems like follow-up/pursuit attacks just keep barreling over Toughness
oh, that's just an unlisted quirk of how the game works. You can only use one passive per attack, so if you trigger it on the first hit you can't use it again on pursuits or counters.
Anonymous
yeah any sort of "after enemy attacks" proc will get ignored during chain spam.
vengeance tanking is a meme, just spam dark flames.
I see, that's a bummer. Seemed like a fun setup. He's still pretty low level so I can't do a lot with him for now then I guess.

yeah any sort of "after enemy attacks" proc will get ignored during chain spam.
vengeance tanking is a meme, just spam dark flames.
warriors still have good attack so they're good candidates for the pursuit bracelet. I think there was one early on anyways.
Once they promote and get enrage at level 20 they murder entire units by themself
I used sanatio in my Alain squad and he made sure no one died. Featherstaffs have amazing healing, can enable hp baser attack shenanigans with the overheal, remove afflictions passively, and can give rows toughness.
Seriously? Sanatio is a pretty good healer for me. Shame that he has no resurrection but his row overheal is extremely good. I don't get why you don't use it. Technically, the staff with the whole team overheal is better but I'd have to sacrifice a staff with potential addition PP/AP and unique skill for that.
The big issue is you get them so late that their valor skill doesn't really get any time to shine. It has obscene range if you can perch them on a tower. I ended up using one in the final mission since you can spot heal almost across the entire map if you park in a more central tower.
How do the two conditions for abilities interact? The game tips menu didn't explain this clearly. Do they both have to be fulfilled for the action to happen, or is there a priority targeting system where condition 1 is checked first, and if no target fulfills it, condition 2 is used?
For example, if I have if I have Long Thrust with conditions 1) Full Column, 2) Lowest HP, which of the following happens? >If there is no full column, the attack doesn't happen at all (because 1st condition wasn't fulfilled and they both must be) >If there is no full column, the game moves on to the 2nd condition, and checks which target has lowest HP, and targets that one
Full Column is a hard condition. If you have it set, the ability won't be used unless there's a full column. Lowest HP just changes targeting if it can actually target.
Remember that Mock Battles exist for a reason. You can try these things out yourself.
Thank you, accept the invitation.
Can you tell why there are no true next gen graphic games for consoles? I was hoping for a lot more, like amazing awful graphics.
Do you think that will change with the PS5Pro or next Gen like PS6, Xbox?
And I read a news about AI and game development, an AI can create games in 5-10 years itself (possibly people laid off...?) How do you see that?
Not John but seriously this is somewhat down to >growing developer incompetence, not knowing how to make use of the hardware power and in fact using the power as a crutch for shitty code >amazing graphics are timely and costly, graphics don't sell like they used to either, games are now being made less pretty for cost effectiveness >outdated tools and engines, engines are made by high tier programmers to do most of the heavy lifting and are often custom optimised for purpose. custom engines are getting less and less popular, and engines are costly to develop as it is software which usually requires expensive talent and will most likely never be sold, I.e developing the engine is a loss. >reaching the pinnacle, the closer we get to realistic perfection the less noticeable the jumps will be, encroaching on perfection is nigh impossible. >Expanding scope, prior games limited what they could do or put on screen for the sake of graphics processing. New games are adding more detail but now make the individual items more detailed.
For a game that has partnership seemingly as one of its core values, the epilogues left a lot to be desired, like almost nobody is explicitly mentioned to end up with anybody else. Like Virginia goes with Gilbert should you not pick her, Sharon and her gay angel friend, and Scarlett is somewhat alluded with Nigel. The rapport feature in general felt a little underdeveloped and tacked on.
>The rapport feature in general felt a little underdeveloped and tacked on
Really, they don't seem hard to animate and they are short enough that it should be easy to write a ton more of them. Many aren't even that creative anyway. Every character should have three rapports. It's criminal how so many good waifus only have two rapports with Alain, going from being friendly to full on love in an instant.
They pulled a half-measure by letting you ring just about any girl, but staying committed to the fact that some of the girls just don't make much sense to romance by giving them only one or two underbaked rapport scenes and a mediocre epilogue. Imo they should have just left the list of girls you could ring be well-developed, natural-feeling romance options with 3 rapports, or give every girl 3 rapport and make them all feel equally viable as romantic options. The inbetween just feels like a trap for people who really fall for a certain character's design only to ring them and find that there's virtually nothing to them as a romantic choice.

this even shows during the marriage shrine scenes, some of them are really fun and creative whilst others are just zero chemistry and alain listing off their positive personality traits to try and reason why her would pick her. I do have respect for some of the mid choices turning around and asking Alain if he's stupid or if this is a joke.

Yahna is the biggest affront. Her and Alains relationship mirroring Alcina and his grandfather, yet only two rapports.
Other girls only getting one is criminal as well, regardless of how little chemistry they have with him or how they barely matter for the story.

Yahna is probably the most story relevant character with only 2 supports yeah
Should've tied more in with gameplay, strong combo skills that require units to have a certain rapport rank to unlock, or maybe add 1 per unit limited S rank rapport that lets them borrow 1 or 2 skills from their partner. Although without the extra rapports to back this up you would basically be guiding each player to build the same teams.
Still in maximum overcope about the news of nothing planned for the game, especially after the online survey made it seem like there was further interest in future content. Do you think if this game was big enough of a success VW would reconsider future content or they're just going to do the VW thing and leave it as is? I respect their refusal to do sequels a lot, just sad too since they're one of the few modern devs who would actually get me excited to see a sequel from.
>sequel >starts with Clive and Alain fighting in the Cornian Imperial Palace >demoncratic rebellion has set Cornian ablaze >queen was assassinated before game start >Lex (finally a knight with a horse), has to escape with Alain's son >10 years since the demoncratic rebellion >Are you a bad enough dude to put Clive (demon-worshipping traitor) to the sword and restore the Holy Unicornian Empire?
Dragon's Crown was their biggest success and not even that got any content DLC; though it did get some post-launch content, with the ultimate difficulty, level 255cap and the tower of mirages. At best, you could hope for some more post-game content, nothing that would require new assets though
I am 100% cool with no new assets/content, I just want a better difficulty for the main campaign and a NG+ mode that lets you move units over from a completed save..I want to be optimistic and hope this isn't unreasonable but I'm still ready to accept that ZT will just be the best we get.
Being able to use Feathershields/bows/staves for more than the last bit of the game (unless you go out of your way to get them early) would be really nice.
>I respect their refusal to do sequels a lot, just sad too since they're one of the few modern devs who would actually get me excited to see a sequel from
its weird of them to ask about doing a sequel on that survey considering the fact that they never do them.
What was the team and his setup? Not many people talk about archer setups.
I used him in my archer team who was lead by a dodgetanking Gammel, but eventually both of them had to benched because I needed the team space for better synergy(at least they some-fricking-how managed to oneshot Alcina in a single battle, did not expect that).
>NG+ >Has a few options. >1. You just carry over absolutely everything, all your units, items, equipment, heraldry options, etc. >All enemy units are level 50 and are promoted. Same goes for mercenaries. >Or >2. Keep your money, items and equipment and heraldries but otherwise similar to just doing a new game.
3. Use honor points in a point-shop with various effects from just buying copies of unique equipment to gameplay altering effects such as: >the classic 2x exp/money buffs >valor point multipliers >Bestral night-buffs are always active >6th unit slot >disable time limit but increase enemy stats >conquest mode where you and zenoira start out with 1 town each and have to play grand strategy and take territory in real time, resources being used to shore up towns with siege equipment and such. you also have to find both rings and defeated units have to get rescued scarlett-style
>can't set combatant type to two different unit types and have that one tactics line govern your ability to use a skill on two specific unit types
who the FRICK designed these moronic rules
I just did the mission where you get Dinah and I feel the game had a sudden difficulty spike, I had to relly a lot in map attacks like arrow rain and dragon dive. I think it's mainly because enemies are starting to show up in 5 man squads and I barely got 2
I don't exactly remember the boss comp but that's the one with the legionnares right? I felt like you needed a specific comp in order to deal with the archer charge while removing the tanks. there was another one like in the kleinfeld mission but with swordmasters instead
>mfw watching a streamer wasting hours synergy maxxing rolf teams with the aerial shift bow >he's pairing him with fliers
what the frick how has fatlus no corrected this yet
Redpill me on Power Belt Doom Knight. I can't get Toughness to proc reliably at all, he'll have PP and be below the health threshold, then just die anyway.
Who’s your favourite to promote first? I did Alain, the shaman, and the dark knight(cause I heard the level 20 skill is godly). Any other recs? About to finish drakengard
Making a Chloe team.
So far Chloe and Ridiel in the back and a generic wyvernmaster in front. Anti calvary is the main point. Who else should I add to the team?
here's what I've been running, feel free to steal it. >honed slash on feathersword also gets bonuses when buffed, nimble fighter gloves to scale up crit damage for keen call >Gilbert for the team-wide buffs to guarantee Chloe & Ochlys are at full power >rail-the-prostitute for extra anti-cav, magic damage, and sylphic barrier to keep archers from ruining my day
Just because Cornian royalty have lovey dovey babymaking passionate kissing handholding eye contacted shared orgasm leglock missionary with their relative doesn't mesn Liza and Magellan do...as much.
I like her, there's so many girls in sexy skimpy armors that a cute paladin looking girl in full plate looks cool and unique, unfortunately/fortunately there's a lot of good girls and the more plot relevant ones naturally steal all the attention.
She's cute but just a tad too one dimensional with "muh dad", I like her though. The three of them deciding to join Virginia to kill Giethe annoys me toi, pretty sure in her and Josef's rapport she says she was aware they had no chance but felt obligated to assist her which makes me mixed on the three of them.
Fellas should I be levelling a lot of people or just focus on fellas I like? Im starting to lose fights now and im not sure what I did wrong outside keeping everyone around the same level.
>missed an entire section of cornia because i thought the guard that was keeping me from going was high leveled
well this sucks going back now and having to speed through it
>muh mother every fricking second >carries my Alain team through early game because of his fireball + burst set up whenever it didnt just straight up kill >only got fricked in Elfheim so far, but shamans and the PP decreasing attacks exist for a reason
Maybe I should build another wizard.
Now this is VW so they most likely mean it but "no plans" doesn't mean never, a lot of times when a dev says they have no plans for something they do it anyways.
>archer/flyer: makes a ranged attack >fighter: covers it >archer/flyer: learn to attack two targets, attack a row, attack a collumn, attack the whole team, attack twice in a row, inflict poison/burn/freeze >fighter:
They really need to step it up in a patch, like give them the ability to ignore debuffs from ranged attacks and making it so provoke forces the enemy to use single target attacks.
There's something about Ridiel that's appealing to me, even though she has mommy issues and started out as a grouchy Hapa elf with low scruples in her intro mission
>have to redo practically all my units because of homosexual featherbows and their blind spam
at least with the furries it was more a challenge of balancing dodge tanks/defense walls/alpha strikes, this is just a fricking "are you blind immune" check.
debuffs aren't affliction
it tripped me up too but there is a distinction. If you try to cure blindness with the "debuffed" tag, you actually need "afflicted."
All afflictions also count as a debuff, but not all debuffs are afflictions.
Debuff immunity should prevent affliction, so actually it should not be possible to die to poison if wearing debuff immunity gear.
Unless I'm mixing something up.
So I couldn't help but notice >Albion = Britain (this one is leaned heavily) >Cornia = France >Drakengard = Germany >Elfheim = Spain? >Bastoria = Scandinavian block?
Was this something the localisers added or is this apparent in the Japanese version too? Also where the frick would Zenoira have been irl?
I just figured the different regions just took bits and pieces of inspiration, and didn't really try to wholesale represent irl european countries. Like Elheim has a lot of nordic naming conventions, but beyond that they're just elves. Beyond the obvious though, I did appreciate that the overworld theme for Bastorias took some mild inspiration from old Russian orchestral stuff, or at least that's how it hit my ear. I half expected the song to burst out into full-on March of the Toy Soldiers type stuff. Maybe I'm just nuts though.
Zenoira is Babylon but if you must have a European country it’s rome
The Scandinavian countries are a bit more over the east, I always assumed bastoria was Italy and the map was flipped and jumbled. Draken was Germany and the small inbetween countries since they wrap around the top end of France and Draken wraps around the bottom of Cornia. But Scandinavian countries would be more fitting for the environment of the bastoria, they're just not quite the right shape.
Yes on Cornia and Albion, but >drakeistan - Egypt or middle east with Germanic names >bastoria - scandinavia >elheim - maybe baltic pagans >Zenoria - Roman empire
For me, it's her slightly possessive childhood friend romance and the fact the poor girl can't stop eating shit the entire game and deserves for at least one thing in her life to go well and not become yet another painful memory to drag around the rest of her life.
Well, that and the giant breasts and drill hair.
He was crying and pissing about all of his work and research will be gone from the world when you kill him so I think it was immortality and power for the continued research of his magic.
All in all I think Bastoras maps were the most fun, plenty of them incorporated fun gimmicks into their scenarios, the most "vanilla" ones were the last two main quests in it.
There are no direct parallels other than vague inspiration, the biggest red flag for me is that Albion is filled with aryan angels instead of the beast men.
>Dinah blushing while wearing a cute wedding dress >Josef and Hodrick looking on in horror when they realize Alain ringed Yahna >Scarlett crying about how Chloe broke the sis code >Eltolinde reading about human/elf mating rituals
I stand very corrected then. Ramona does suffer from being boring mostly. You are no longer a hack and I'll eat a sword or however it is that killing yourself is acceptable.
Lessening his punishment because he was just trying to make orthodoxy survive it's pontifex's death and a whole lot of Liberation's supporters also fell for Zenoira's lies makes sense to me.
Turning that punishment into a straight up reward by making him the new pontifex doesn't. That shit's stupid as hell, he already proved he can't handle that much responsibility, and Nigel was already handling that position so he could have perfectly been the new one (as long as he changed out of the Sauron armor).
Is picking Virginia ethical? Considering Alain is already a clone of his grandad, would it be safe to assume he's already a few generations inbred? Could the Cornish royal line really withstand another narrowing of the family tree. Would even really matter nearing the point of 100% genetic similarity, have they achieved an immunity to inbreeding?
They have perfect genes so if they outbreed they get tainted.
, if anything not choosing Virginia would be the unethical choice as inbreeding would only kick in without the cornian purity. hell I would be willing the bet the line is so finely honed that Alain is infertile to anybody not of cornian blood, the kingdom is doomed if you chose anybody else.
Scarlett, Rosalinde, Eltolinde or Amalia. The line of the unicorn, the line of the turenos, or the line of some butthole swordsman maniac playng eugenics.
Scarlett is the obvious choice.
Incest is not a good choice for children, half elves are looked down on, all the rest are lower class or can't have children with humans. There's no way Yahna has any eggs left. Melisandre, maybe? Amalia is would bear cursed children.
Give me the ideal swordmaster setup, preferably using items and gear I can slot into all 3 swordmaster uniques instead of stuff that only 1 or 2 can run at most.
Those large cave bridges in the underground don't have railings, you live for thousands of years and the law of probability will eventually catch up and you go down tumbling, many must have lost family members at random to the abyss.
>The reason Zenoira couldn't conquer the dark elves is because they didn't know the secret crawling techniques that allow them to survive in their insane fricking death trap of a city.
Rosalinde speaks to her as being younger, and Railanor is only older than Ithilion, so I'm pretty sure it goes >Galadmir > Eltolinde = Rosalinde = Lhinalagos > Railanor > Ithilion
Lhinalagos also kinda depends on how long the childhood period is for elves, I just know that him and Eltolinde were childhood friends.
>every squad parked around galarius forecasted to do less damage than his auto heal >fight off random enemies on the side >eventually benegaria team completely destroys him
thanks for the save ren also what the frick happened

Atlas what are you doing
And people said there would be nothing to look forward to down the line.
I thought Ganker liked hero forge though
look how they massacred my boy Ithillion...
Hodrick looks like he developed some sort of drug addiction
Man, women just look horrible in hero forge, even the furry girls
Heroforge still exists?
random collab, but is it weird that I like the characters in this style? though I would never get one of these things since im not into tabletop
Hilda if she Naughty Dog.
What the fugg
what a disgusting visual
does anyone have that webm of lex calling over to alain only for him to walk away
AHHHHH I NEED A CUTE HAG WITCH WIFE
That promote outfit has grown on me, sure I miss the hag hip sway, but damn if that outfit isn't sex in itself.
I think those two are very cute together. Yahna Ftw
Imagine the sex
It's not fricking fair man. How is this 17 year old blue haired fricker bagging a banging a super hot witch a century older than him. It's NOT FRICKING FAUR
He's a prince and a chad
Alain on his own is a catch since he is good looking and kind, but being a pit bawd is what seals the deal is why so many women want him after one or two interactions.
I thought it's because he's king and so marrying him grants you massive amounts of power
>I am a 60000 year old elf virgin
>Wow your tiny amount of kindness really impressed me, nobody has been this nice to me before!!!
Worst trope
she's the equivalent of a middle aged woman that's a hardass to all the young guy dark elves around her because she's supposed to train them. not hard to imagine why she's single.
It's wish fulfillment, which is a valid use of fiction. You're free to get your dose of realistic romance wherever your local roasties congregate.
>Realistic romance
Doesn't exist anymore
I'm not against wish fulfilment, but it just could be a little more believable. 6000(?) years and no one was ever remotely nice to her? What kind of buttholes are elves?
To be fair dark elves are all violent rapists
Not in UO I don't think so
If they were drows I'd undertand her behavior
It could be that his kindness exceeded her expectations. You wouldn't expect royalty to sully his hands dealing with matters like this.
We never see an actual elf couple afaik, it is always elf x human.
>it is always elf x human.
Elves are built for the BHC
Generic female soldier girls would like to have a word with you.
I wanna warmly tend to those brown legs alright
I would imagine Alain would want her covered up as queen. Every man in the castle would be eyeing her up everyday
That is quite literally what happens in the epilogue.
It makes him jelly as frick.
She's for Hodrick
>true zion
>know what I am doing
>already at drakengard, no one die yet
>"hey this is pretty easy"
>one squad step one toe into enemy archer range
>"Arrow Rain"
>entire back line is gone
What a videogame
Is replacing Rolf with a featherarrow worth it? I don't use him as lead for assists but his arrow rain is nice against the fliers in Albion, he one shots them.
Feather arrows are obscene, being able to react-blind entire rows is itself worthy of use.
Don't think about "replace", they are different niches.
Hunter is pure damage.
Featherbow is more a utility archer.
has anyone completed the class registry 100%? do you get anything for it? also side note, there are a few of wacky woohoo alt generics you can get like a legionnaire with horns and a thief with a visor.
featherbows don't output that much damage, have a lower ceiling for the amount of things they can naturally hit, and don't have truestrike. they're mostly there to enable flimsy frontlines like mercenaries. they're very different units aside from the fact they both use bows.
is this really worth $60?
Very
It’s fun and 50 hours to beat it but if you’re a pirategay just play it for free
More like 70 if you wanna get everything
More like 90
You play slowly
Well I try to savor the game for a while instead of consooming it like it’s a 6 piece
How do you savor a game? By running in circles on the overworld? I full cleared the map.
Reading every npc dialog and all 450 logs and then doing it again on zesty difficulty
That’s beating the game twice then. Not what my post was about.
nta but I wanna have all the things and try all the things.
By playing with my squads, playing with my units colors, listening to the music, reading the library bios, admiring the hand drawn scenery, talking to villagers, buying things, leveling and moving units around. Did you just burn through everything as fast as you could?
> playing with my units colors, listening to the music, admiring the hand drawn scenery
Irrelevant non gameplay things you wasted 20 hours on. I did everything else on your list ie the actual game content.
>Irrelevant non gameplay things
I pity you for being unable to experience art for what it is.
You wasted a full day of your life running in circles on the overworld.
No, I spent my free time appreciating the work of a group of craftsmen and artists I spent money to experience. Go ahead and move on to your next consoomption, it’s all you’re capable of.
Keep wasting your time not playing the game
I did both, a shame you couldn’t.
Do you also speedrun sex, bro? Or maybe you just let Chad do it for you instead since you don't wanna waste time?
The way most people consume games nowadays is pathological. Small wonder the market is filled with trash.
based jrpg anon, I am the same. I'm probably going to finish the game at 120h+ kek
i would say so, it's fun
Thank you and… goodbye, Elina
Hold up, Ithilion. That was a very touching farewell, but I need to station someone in this town.
Everyone else has been assigned, so…
Ithilion's half elf mutts!
Cute and canon, i did this as well.
I’m glad the ending confirms he marries her instead of trying to tip tap around something everyone expects already.
I think most players stationed unique units in the towns they met them besides some like Ridiel and Fodoquia who were wronged by their respective hometowns or units that just happened to be near a town but don't really show any sort of attachment to it like that Galadmir who was just stalking you.
>man in black armor
Wait what? Who is that supposed to be?
Nigel.
Can’t resist the BAC
Kys.
Mindbroken by the BAC, probably some elfsissy
I don't think Scarlett is ever shown drinking. Her blood alcohol content is 0.
Nigel.
>DUM TUM
>DUM TUUUUM
>trannius
Get out
Uh wtf so she fricks Nigel if you didn't choose her?
He's old enough to be her father and he feels responsible about her life because he's the one that dropped her in Palevia to begin with, stop obsessing with sex.
THE ELVES ARE TRYING TO TAKE OVER CORINNE BY STEALING ALL THE MEN!
Human women gotta step up their game. Elina and that one generic soldier are doing their part.
Can human woman compete?
>Alain takes the throne
>Restoration work begins in earnest
>A bunch of construction workers from Cornia are hired to work in Elheim
>They collaborate with the elves, doing a good job returning their towns and cities to their former glory
>It doesn't take long before female elves take note of them
>And start flirting with them
>The workers ended up settling down in Elheim with an elven wife.
Elves are dangerous.
>Sudden short supply of quality labor
Damn elves
A lot of new art on X today all of a sudden
ppl with day jobs are finishing the game
nips that want physical and missed out are probably starting to get their hands on the game
those are my guesses.
Govil was a bigger bro than i expected.
Govil is such a chad
Cool dude.
>Govil introduced pizzagate to Coronthia
Oh no
Oh shit, i should have known the cool wolfman would have some sort of dark secret…
NTRing prostitute
Me in the right
pov: you are a human man
Where's the art of Chloe wearing the outfit that was too small for Yahna.
I swear, there better end up being at least 5 h-doujins featuring Chloe wearing this.
in the class registry there's an entry for mille as a breaker, but how do you actually get mille? doesn't she just leave after you recruit nina? will she join if you reject nina?
Post-game battle.
You can nab her as part of the characters you get in the post-game mission.
Postgame unlock.
She joins in the post game only, unfortunately. I would have taken her over Nina if i could.
Too lazy to try, is there an event for giving your mom the ring?
You get a trophy called Momma’s Boy
You get to use her in NG+
Alain, I found a lantern at the top of this tower!
Oh! Good job Lex!
I’ve scoured the ruins and found this pot of sacred corne ash!
Wow! You’re so reliable Chloe!
Scarlett: mumumu… me too..!
Alain! I found a caterpillar! Caterpillar!! It was there!
Ah… i don’t need a caterpillar.
Why do you always make shitty crops?
What isn't in the crop you want to see you worthless freeloading homosexual?
Scarlett’s dialogue for starters.
Why do half Black folk that don't create or contribute content always whine? This is why every last member of your mongrel fricking race will be purged.
I’m white, but go on and do it already if you plan to.
>m-mu-muh fed!!!!!!
>Gets called a worthless sack of shit freeloader who doesn't do anything but his whiny ass mouth.
>"I'm white!" said Jose lopez
Stfu mutt
Well? Are you going to kill someone already or post impotent garbage on Ganker?
>calling some brown eyed goblina is literally a holocaust
No one cares beaner. Your skin is the came color as the shit that comes out of my ass.
Go on and do it. I’m waiting.
Kill them then
I'm slaying your conquered rape baby mutt ass right now mestizo
Delusional homosexual
ass mad b***h made brown eyed fricking mutt
Go on and kill one already big boy
I just killed one of your sisters by taking a shit in the toilet Alejandro. Flushed her right back to your third world shit hole
Yeah you’ll never do anything but cry online like a pathetic b***h
Keep dancing for your White god you conquered mutt
I’ve already told you I’m white but you seem too stupid to comprehend new information
>I'm White that's why I'm so fricking ass ravaged that you're shitting on my shit colored ancestry
Sure thing browneye
Autism
Will you reply to me too? I want in on this moron-fest. Fricking beta loser.
>To resist or to yield
>they offer you a third path
I am in two minds about this. Obviously I'm going to do what's in the spoiler, but my question is "Did you?"
Additionally, why did they even do this? It feels half-assed if you can just bypass the quandary by picking a third option.
I think they intended for a morality system originally, like in Ogre Battle.
They did it to mess with the morons who skip dialogue.
So you can get both recruits but it’s one of the hardest missions in the game
Well, not that hard given how easy the game is but still
You guys weren't kidding. That was a really fun map.
Bastoras in general has the hardest maps with the one you just did and a fleeting dream's. Albion's map design is simpler, hell the last main battle in Albion is quite literally a narrow straight line with unpassable mountains to stop flyers from rushing the boss.
My flier squad jobbed the entire region of Albion but I was only using 4 so I had to keep feeding them.
>but my question is "Did you?"
yes. I wanted a bigger challenge..
>Additionally, why did they even do this?
in ye olde fire emblem(100%) and tactics ogre(IIRC) you get a choice between 2 units and one locks out the other. they were harkening back to that.
AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
>start new game
>realize the queen’s squad was Hodrick, Renault, Mustache cuck guy and blue hair witch
Oh shit I never noticed this
Hey OP where did you get that image from? Couldn't find it with the search engines.
The style smells very /ic/-like, so I assume it was made by a drawgay
>game mentions hot springs
>they drew a hot springs background and assets
>only used in one postgame scene with the bear and wolf sitting in it
>we probably could have had hot springs events with every girl but the ethics and dei department vetod it
What a shame
>veto'd
Nah I think they just ran out of money, they would do it
More likely they ran out of budget to voice and animate every girl in it.
it get's mentioned several times in-game too
Sanatio/Alain rapport also features the hot springs, them + Lex chill there and Sanatio gets mad because he slips.
Def strange we never get to use one.
No budget for naked sprites.
>story mode
>only Alain squad and his harem
>tons of nuts for stam
Oh yeah, I'm gaming alright.
Why does she have 2 shields?
how old is witch
Old but sexy at the same time
*did literally nothing wrong*
He is cute and said he was sorry so it is okay.
This, it doesn't matter what he did all he needs to do is get in my bed and it's all good.
armored briefs are stupid for starter
Can’t frick Scarlett with shattered balls
*kills thousands in the name of zombie pope*
oopsie woopsie
people say that only fighters suck but I have yet to see a single person use a featherstaff, while I have seen featherbows and feathershields used plenty
Are they the worst class? They seem like Clerics but somehow worse.
I think they're nicer to have when you're actually doing maps and whatnot, with the ability to both fly and support heal.
yeah but owls already do that and have superior mobility while and some neat support moves, plus they can heal if you give them a healing skill staff
Meanwhile featherstaff has a skillset that looks really jank and hard to use in any team
People don't use angels because 1. no one is retooling their squads that late in the game and 2. people generally prefer named units and the only named featherstaff is recruited about 15 minutes before the credits roll
their undying buff will probably frick people up in arena and nobody treats arena seriously
I think Warriors and Gladiators suck ass in this. Warriors are good for killing Hoplites but suck at everything else. Gladiators do frick all for damage.
Warriors are plenty good at killing everything. Gladiators have some serious issues, but low damage output is not one of them.
Close your eyes and randomly pause the webm, you must marry the girl you see.
>chloe swarm
this is too many chloe
is it at the top of his skill list? He might be using something else instead
All he has is Toughness and Vengeance, Toughness at the top with a requirement to be at 75% hp or less so it's more lenient than the default 50%. It seems like follow-up/pursuit attacks just keep barreling over Toughness, I'm guessing it just defends specifically against active attacks and not passive follow-ups or something.
>It seems like follow-up/pursuit attacks just keep barreling over Toughness
oh, that's just an unlisted quirk of how the game works. You can only use one passive per attack, so if you trigger it on the first hit you can't use it again on pursuits or counters.
I see, that's a bummer. Seemed like a fun setup. He's still pretty low level so I can't do a lot with him for now then I guess.
yeah any sort of "after enemy attacks" proc will get ignored during chain spam.
vengeance tanking is a meme, just spam dark flames.
I refuse. I WILL marry Melisandre.
Jokes on you, I got Melisandre without cheating
I got Primm.
I take it
Good idea for a thread btw
>primm
absolutely not
that's cool b/c she was my second pick after __fox__
chibi amalia!
>got Primm as well
That webm is cursed.
>Melisandre
Please, she's too eager that it's a turn off.
Even if I say this as I buff her truestrike to high heavens and field her every map
‘sandre killed galerius for me so she gets what she wants
>Melisandre
warriors still have good attack so they're good candidates for the pursuit bracelet. I think there was one early on anyways.
Once they promote and get enrage at level 20 they murder entire units by themself
Breakers murder almost everything and have enough attack to actually feed their AP via assaulting blow spam.
I used sanatio in my Alain squad and he made sure no one died. Featherstaffs have amazing healing, can enable hp baser attack shenanigans with the overheal, remove afflictions passively, and can give rows toughness.
I put one on my (not fast casted) trinity rain team. To boost mobility lel.
>If there is no full column, the attack doesn't happen at all (because 1st condition wasn't fulfilled and they both must be)
>If there is no full column, the game moves on to the 2nd condition, and checks which target has lowest HP, and targets that one
condition 2 is actually checked first
Ok, but do both conditions have to be true? Or is it enough for condition 2) to be true and 1) to be false for the action to happen?
Both have to be true. They are "and", not "or".
Full Column is a hard condition. If you have it set, the ability won't be used unless there's a full column. Lowest HP just changes targeting if it can actually target.
Remember that Mock Battles exist for a reason. You can try these things out yourself.
The full column condition would stop it, lowest HP doesn't hard cancel anything
>he romanced Chloe
Correction: I married her.
Devs so lazy they make you program the units AI yourself
Are you a dev or is there a game developer here?
I would like to talk with him.
John Vanillaware here, AMA
Dragon's Crown 2 when John?
Thank you, accept the invitation.
Can you tell why there are no true next gen graphic games for consoles? I was hoping for a lot more, like amazing awful graphics.
Do you think that will change with the PS5Pro or next Gen like PS6, Xbox?
And I read a news about AI and game development, an AI can create games in 5-10 years itself (possibly people laid off...?) How do you see that?
Not John but seriously this is somewhat down to
>growing developer incompetence, not knowing how to make use of the hardware power and in fact using the power as a crutch for shitty code
>amazing graphics are timely and costly, graphics don't sell like they used to either, games are now being made less pretty for cost effectiveness
>outdated tools and engines, engines are made by high tier programmers to do most of the heavy lifting and are often custom optimised for purpose. custom engines are getting less and less popular, and engines are costly to develop as it is software which usually requires expensive talent and will most likely never be sold, I.e developing the engine is a loss.
>reaching the pinnacle, the closer we get to realistic perfection the less noticeable the jumps will be, encroaching on perfection is nigh impossible.
>Expanding scope, prior games limited what they could do or put on screen for the sake of graphics processing. New games are adding more detail but now make the individual items more detailed.
I'm already in Bastorias and just recruited Tatiana, completely overlooked that part of the map
I'm horny.
Have sex with your gf
What am I supposed to do with this info?
Help him stop being horny.
?
Easy. according to threads just post a picture of fox and all horny gets replaced with disgust and/or anger
Lord Alain! Because you were stingy with money, we have no obstacle items! At this rate we will be overrun by the furries!
I’ve got an idea! Nobody has eaten Scarlett’s cooking!
What ho! The furries have regained their senses! It’s even more effective than Bastorias Blue!
Scarlett: Im a genius
I love these
Frick racemixing and frick inbreeding, complete generic human woman breeding NOW!
Okay!
>pov: you're me
>cucking your friend
Lex is adventure sexual, he has no time for b***hes.
I saved before the ring scene and went through some of my choices.
Melisandre>yunifi>Scarlett>eltolinde>ochlys
The endings are a letdown though. Even Scarlett had 3 lines for hers.
this even shows during the marriage shrine scenes, some of them are really fun and creative whilst others are just zero chemistry and alain listing off their positive personality traits to try and reason why her would pick her.
Mandarin wants to frick Gammels off screen sister but gets brother cucked.
They both have hairy pussies.
Yep.
Why doesn't her charm do anything?
it's a metaphor for her having no charm
because you pirated the game
I hadn't set up wifi on the switch yet.
Update to 1.0.1.
VW is weak, making the female furries just a furry human body with an animal head plopped on looks shit compared to the wolves and bears.
Darn flirty elf...
https://litter.catbox.moe/yv0a1g.jpg
love milk dud nipples
cool now post rosalinde and eltolinde giving alain a thighjob
Cunilingus!
Apologize
I'm sorry Monica that I was going to rank you down lower than the F*rries.
You were just trying to save us all from Democracy and open borders...
>Tomboy
>Horse Girl
>Messy Short Hair
Why did Hinoka dye her hair yellow?
I sont need to, she has been top tier since day one.
Still in maximum overcope about the news of nothing planned for the game, especially after the online survey made it seem like there was further interest in future content. Do you think if this game was big enough of a success VW would reconsider future content or they're just going to do the VW thing and leave it as is? I respect their refusal to do sequels a lot, just sad too since they're one of the few modern devs who would actually get me excited to see a sequel from.
probably leave it as is which sucks. would have been nice if all the content that got cut would at the very least been added back and finished as dlc
Outside of Muramasa VW just doesn't believe in the concept of DLC. Shame.
>sequel
>starts with Clive and Alain fighting in the Cornian Imperial Palace
>demoncratic rebellion has set Cornian ablaze
>queen was assassinated before game start
>Lex (finally a knight with a horse), has to escape with Alain's son
>10 years since the demoncratic rebellion
>Are you a bad enough dude to put Clive (demon-worshipping traitor) to the sword and restore the Holy Unicornian Empire?
>branching story where you either emulate alain's liberation (good guys) or ends justify the means tier murderhobo evil
All I really need is an NG+ mode
Being able to use Feathershields/bows/staves for more than the last bit of the game (unless you go out of your way to get them early) would be really nice.
It's modder chads or nothing
We had a good run
Why does Travis look like he needs correction in this pic?
>I respect their refusal to do sequels a lot, just sad too since they're one of the few modern devs who would actually get me excited to see a sequel from
its weird of them to ask about doing a sequel on that survey considering the fact that they never do them.
At most they'll give us a NG+ update. I don't expect anything else since Vanillaware is too small to split its staff among multiple projects
saber
Only person in the world who used Mandrin, ask me anything.
>Cazador
>segway for ya
what was his major malfunction?
What was the team and his setup? Not many people talk about archer setups.
I used him in my archer team who was lead by a dodgetanking Gammel, but eventually both of them had to benched because I needed the team space for better synergy(at least they some-fricking-how managed to oneshot Alcina in a single battle, did not expect that).
another guy but my mandrin, gammel celeste team also one shotted alcina for me, I guess it was intentional
I killed him and regret it so much
Rolf is such a hypocrite for thinking he's any better than Gammel.
Leah could surpass Amalia. Leah is best and strongest mother. Make Josef breed
Virginia and marry your son to his daughter. Ez eugenics
so how do death save skills like toughness work, do they only save against the attack that procs them? Or is it stored until use?
it gets stored
>NG+
>Has a few options.
>1. You just carry over absolutely everything, all your units, items, equipment, heraldry options, etc.
>All enemy units are level 50 and are promoted. Same goes for mercenaries.
>Or
>2. Keep your money, items and equipment and heraldries but otherwise similar to just doing a new game.
1.
3. Use honor points in a point-shop with various effects from just buying copies of unique equipment to gameplay altering effects such as:
>the classic 2x exp/money buffs
>valor point multipliers
>Bestral night-buffs are always active
>6th unit slot
>disable time limit but increase enemy stats
>conquest mode where you and zenoira start out with 1 town each and have to play grand strategy and take territory in real time, resources being used to shore up towns with siege equipment and such. you also have to find both rings and defeated units have to get rescued scarlett-style
Would you let an elf play with your ears?
>can't set combatant type to two different unit types and have that one tactics line govern your ability to use a skill on two specific unit types
who the FRICK designed these moronic rules
I just did the mission where you get Dinah and I feel the game had a sudden difficulty spike, I had to relly a lot in map attacks like arrow rain and dragon dive. I think it's mainly because enemies are starting to show up in 5 man squads and I barely got 2
4 vs 5 is not that huge of a difference
you just may need to get more intimate with the unit type chart and team composition
I don't exactly remember the boss comp but that's the one with the legionnares right? I felt like you needed a specific comp in order to deal with the archer charge while removing the tanks. there was another one like in the kleinfeld mission but with swordmasters instead
>mfw watching a streamer wasting hours synergy maxxing rolf teams with the aerial shift bow
>he's pairing him with fliers
what the frick how has fatlus no corrected this yet
Corrected what? I can't recall what that bow did
Is there an item that will let my werebear be a Legionnaire and jump in front of attacks?
Any greatshield with a cover ability.

>no DLC planned
>everyone already finish it
It's over...
All good things must end eventually.
I'm recommending it to my friends and I can't wait to see how they end up playing the game.
It's like Kamidori all over again.
All my friends who played strategy RPGs died or aren't my friends anymore...
Except you, right, anon?
Are we friends, anon? Do you want to be?
Redpill me on Power Belt Doom Knight. I can't get Toughness to proc reliably at all, he'll have PP and be below the health threshold, then just die anyway.
Help how do I make Leah contribute. Fran already catches theives with True Strike from Rein.
Who’s your favourite to promote first? I did Alain, the shaman, and the dark knight(cause I heard the level 20 skill is godly). Any other recs? About to finish drakengard
I just picked based on whoever was closest to unlocking their first promotion skill
male sellsword, purely for aesthetics
cavalry, from lvl15 onward it was like crack using them
I always promote Alain so he becomes cavalry
>I can't romance my own mom
Is the huge sword and two shields supposed to be a wiener and balls? Were the asiatics making a dirty joke here?
Frick now I can't unsee it. You have ruined my experience.
My bad
asiatics = Koreans
Nips = japs
who cares they're both chinks
chinks = chinese
homie, you gotta learn how to racial slur properly
the joke is that all asians look the same
Black person you can't even be racist properly
I was joking on your joke, moron
Learn how to read the room, dumb Black person homosexual
Making a Chloe team.
So far Chloe and Ridiel in the back and a generic wyvernmaster in front. Anti calvary is the main point. Who else should I add to the team?
>anti-cav
hilda or fran/celeste
here's what I've been running, feel free to steal it.
>honed slash on feathersword also gets bonuses when buffed, nimble fighter gloves to scale up crit damage for keen call
>Gilbert for the team-wide buffs to guarantee Chloe & Ochlys are at full power
>rail-the-prostitute for extra anti-cav, magic damage, and sylphic barrier to keep archers from ruining my day
Aubin!
Owned by Liza
Isn’t Magellan her brother?
Yeah so? Get your mind out of the gutter
Just because Cornian royalty have lovey dovey babymaking passionate kissing handholding eye contacted shared orgasm leglock missionary with their relative doesn't mesn Liza and Magellan do...as much.
Disturbing lack of Miriam appreciation in these threads. I'm starting to question whether any of you are pale skinned and light eyed at all...
Pale skinned and light eyed males are busy going gaga for Rosalinde.
I married rosalinde and i'm brown!
I posted a picture of a completely different character in these threads before and passed it off as Miriam and no one realized.
Who?
Forte from Rune Factory 4, someone asked for Miriam fanart and I posted her instead and got a reply saying based.
>light eyed
Slavic and Celtic femboy trait propagated throughout the North because snowBlack folk are too dumb not to have children with their slavs.
>Slavic and Celtic femboy trait
I want to see proof
Monica is the superior girl but "this Rose bears thorns" is probably my favorite line in the game.
Travis sexo
TAKE FRICKING NOTES, LEX
Only the chibi artist can save us now, threads must continue until every named unit, generic, and side character is drawn.
>see thumbnail and think those were massive saggers
>they were just shields on her arms
My day is ruined
>fotm already dying down
Sad!
Fellas should I be levelling a lot of people or just focus on fellas I like? Im starting to lose fights now and im not sure what I did wrong outside keeping everyone around the same level.
Team composition is more important than level
I love Miriam!
I love Miriam!
This Miriam looks kind of moronic and afraid of ghosts.
Is there a complete gift guide yet?
>missed an entire section of cornia because i thought the guard that was keeping me from going was high leveled
well this sucks going back now and having to speed through it
I got tricked by auch's mission the same way, I ended up going back to him after rescuing scarlett
Such a worthless, nothing character.
>muh mommy
>not even a character in-game
agree
And he's one of the most powerful back linners in the game
>muh mother every fricking second
>carries my Alain team through early game because of his fireball + burst set up whenever it didnt just straight up kill
>only got fricked in Elfheim so far, but shamans and the PP decreasing attacks exist for a reason
Maybe I should build another wizard.
Generic Wizard > Auchy

>looks cooler
>comes in a variety of different colors
>no mommy issues

Elf and human mating rituals...
Elf boys...
The fricking elf archer guys are too hot, The ZR is too much for my wiener to handle.

>sequel never ever
That's okay, Unicorn Overlord is now part of my list of games that I replay at least once a year anyway.
How the FRICK do I kill Baltro? I keep getting like 300-1500 forecasts. This power spike is insane.
Have you tried using your maiden. My team was able to one round him without taking damage.
Yeah I have 4 AP/PP Alain and Scarlett both in the team at level 50 (because I fed them my miracle fruits before the final boss).
Have you used valorous order on yourself?
It changes to 400-1166
You need to show your comp and rethink it, I didn't have any level 50 and I blasted the old c**t.
Also make sure your wife is actually using the kill move protection, you might me depleting your pp beforehand or it's fighting against other procs.
That might be it, but also Scarlett keeps fricking dying. I’ll adjust tactics so she doesn’t heal with 2 PP
Now this is VW so they most likely mean it but "no plans" doesn't mean never, a lot of times when a dev says they have no plans for something they do it anyways.
No Corne ashes for you until you pat my head, your Majesty.
>archer/flyer: makes a ranged attack
>fighter: covers it
>archer/flyer: learn to attack two targets, attack a row, attack a collumn, attack the whole team, attack twice in a row, inflict poison/burn/freeze
>fighter:
They really need to step it up in a patch, like give them the ability to ignore debuffs from ranged attacks and making it so provoke forces the enemy to use single target attacks.
There's something about Ridiel that's appealing to me, even though she has mommy issues and started out as a grouchy Hapa elf with low scruples in her intro mission
her death animation revealed she has a big butt
Ridiel's fat asssssssssssss
Now we’re talking
How many Lucky Coins can you get? I have 2.
That's all you will have,
damn
Which unicorns would you hug?
Leah. She needs one, badly.
>have to redo practically all my units because of homosexual featherbows and their blind spam
at least with the furries it was more a challenge of balancing dodge tanks/defense walls/alpha strikes, this is just a fricking "are you blind immune" check.
This was fun to figure out.
Now that I think about it, Gerard had two debuff immunity equipment, yet he died from poison.
debuffs aren't affliction
it tripped me up too but there is a distinction.
Wish this game had actual chimeras, dragons and other monsters to fight against.
Finally beat that loser baltro. I had yunifi’s squad do 400 damage and die first
>keep buying cross buns
>never use them
what is wrong with me
Whatever it is, I have the same thing
Thumbnail looked like he has giant hanging breasts with huge protruding ahemaru nipps, disappointing
What would you do if you were in Colm's position?
Spike Alain’s drink
Alain can't feasibly pick anybody else at the shrine without immediately dying if his seed is still inside Meli
*hits pipe*
I just finished the prologue. Have I already seen the best breasts in the game?
Scarlett’s? Yeah. Yahna is perky tho
Best breasts are in Elfheim.
And you get Celeste pretty quickly once you are there.
UNF frick plap SPLURT Get PRegnant!
Debatable, but they're certainly up there
What a magestic creature
So I couldn't help but notice
>Albion = Britain (this one is leaned heavily)
>Cornia = France
>Drakengard = Germany
>Elfheim = Spain?
>Bastoria = Scandinavian block?
Was this something the localisers added or is this apparent in the Japanese version too? Also where the frick would Zenoira have been irl?
Zenoira is Babylon but if you must have a European country it’s rome
Agree with top 3, the town names point to their real world inspirations. But Elheim doesn't really have a spanish vibe.
I like how Japan loves Europe so much. We have a lot in common.
DOOD its Just like REAL LIFE OMG is that a reference
Elheim has bunch of finnish names. Are the some spanish ones too?
I just figured the different regions just took bits and pieces of inspiration, and didn't really try to wholesale represent irl european countries. Like Elheim has a lot of nordic naming conventions, but beyond that they're just elves. Beyond the obvious though, I did appreciate that the overworld theme for Bastorias took some mild inspiration from old Russian orchestral stuff, or at least that's how it hit my ear. I half expected the song to burst out into full-on March of the Toy Soldiers type stuff. Maybe I'm just nuts though.
Yes on Cornia and Albion, but
>drakeistan - Egypt or middle east with Germanic names
>bastoria - scandinavia
>elheim - maybe baltic pagans
>Zenoria - Roman empire
For me, Scarlett is not only breasts but also her beautiful blonde drillhair. Not enough drillhair girls in vidya.
For me, it's her slightly possessive childhood friend romance and the fact the poor girl can't stop eating shit the entire game and deserves for at least one thing in her life to go well and not become yet another painful memory to drag around the rest of her life.
Well, that and the giant breasts and drill hair.
It is funny that Scarlett gets cucked so much in game that she asks on the alter if you’re just choosing her out of convenience
Which country had the most memorable battle maps?
They’re all pretty similar
Nah some use fun gimmicks like the first Albion map employing boats you can destroy.
Positively or negatively memorable?
Frick the desert
So like…what was his endgame again?
Typical wizard nonsense, power for the sake of power, blah blah blah
Immortality
He was crying and pissing about all of his work and research will be gone from the world when you kill him so I think it was immortality and power for the continued research of his magic.
this is sexist
No one speaks jap here. Try 2chan.
>give this guys a sword that lights people on fire
>suddenly he's not completely useless
There I fixed him.
Can you recruit your mom as a team member at all, or does she stay dead?
Virginia joins in Drakenhold yea
I want my mom. Not my muderschizo kazenfricker
>Germany is full of "desert people"
Nah they knew what they were doing.
>Queen Ilenia can only be recruited once you've beaten the game
What the frick is the point of that?
Does UO have some kind of post end game play?
Well there's that one additional mission and uh you can rerun the last mission and do colliseum I guess
Ilenia is made for ______
Bearing her son Alains children and nursing his wiener.
Gerard boipucci
Ala-
Yep yep
drawing some unicorn overlord fanart! quick gimme your request! bad waifu's need not apply. you know who you are.
Ramona. Maybe doing something out in a forest with Alain. I hate how they did my owl lady dirty with being lackluster.
Bryce or Nina carrying an enormous slice of cheese with Elgor inside it.
>Dinah blushing while wearing a cute wedding dress
>Josef and Hodrick looking on in horror when they realize Alain ringed Yahna
>Scarlett crying about how Chloe broke the sis code
>Eltolinde reading about human/elf mating rituals
Generic soldier girl breathing heavily on standard elf archer guy.
Melisandre hugging Alain with bliss on her face.
Queen Ilenia rubbing Alains wiener through his pants while they makeout.
frick i was too slow thread almost DEAD
You're a hack for not doing bird breasts because I was first but mostly thank you for your service. You've done good work.
ive done bird breasts before!! i just couldnt think of anything with her.
I stand very corrected then. Ramona does suffer from being boring mostly. You are no longer a hack and I'll eat a sword or however it is that killing yourself is acceptable.
Fighters and hoplites drinking and crying that nobody wants them.
Might as well add gladiators to the mix.
Wow!
>all of Alain’s friends are here!
>…and Sanatio for some reason
>gets to be pontifex after covering for baltro about Scarlett’s father’s puppeted corpse
>Alain and the few people that he can't murder
I think even Aubin for some fricking reason has a cut in line during this or entering the map.
Because Aubin is an obligatory character.
Also it's nice to see him speak up for the first time since the desert.
Is picking Virginia ethical? Considering Alain is already a clone of his grandad, would it be safe to assume he's already a few generations inbred? Could the Cornish royal line really withstand another narrowing of the family tree. Would even really matter nearing the point of 100% genetic similarity, have they achieved an immunity to inbreeding?
>so this... THIS is the true power of the unicorn
Doesn't matter, had sex (with my cousin)
They have perfect genes so if they outbreed they get tainted.
see
, if anything not choosing Virginia would be the unethical choice as inbreeding would only kick in without the cornian purity. hell I would be willing the bet the line is so finely honed that Alain is infertile to anybody not of cornian blood, the kingdom is doomed if you chose anybody else.
I want to give Sanatio Scarlett's dad's staff and remind him of his sins every day.
What was their first night like?
Will girl will provide the best children?
Scarlett, Rosalinde, Eltolinde or Amalia. The line of the unicorn, the line of the turenos, or the line of some butthole swordsman maniac playng eugenics.
Scarlett is the obvious choice.
Incest is not a good choice for children, half elves are looked down on, all the rest are lower class or can't have children with humans. There's no way Yahna has any eggs left. Melisandre, maybe? Amalia is would bear cursed children.
Only elves look down on half elves. Humans view them in a positive light
That's still a problem
Ok? What are they gonna do when Eltolinde is fricking human men?
>plural
So if Cornian royalty is the descendant of the maiden why don’t they have the ring of the maiden?
>Featherstaff merc
>voice: Roughshod 3
>Gladiator merc
>Apathetic 1
What's the best shield for a Vanguard?
Give me the ideal swordmaster setup, preferably using items and gear I can slot into all 3 swordmaster uniques instead of stuff that only 1 or 2 can run at most.
Did Ridiel ever tell you how much she loves her mom?
Don't know, but all the other characters can't shut up about her either.
How come all of Eltolinde's followers are way older than they seem, while all of Rosalinde's followers are way younger than they seem?
Those large cave bridges in the underground don't have railings, you live for thousands of years and the law of probability will eventually catch up and you go down tumbling, many must have lost family members at random to the abyss.
>The reason Zenoira couldn't conquer the dark elves is because they didn't know the secret crawling techniques that allow them to survive in their insane fricking death trap of a city.
How old is Railanor? I was under the impression she was among the older elves given how she trained the chuuni elf.
Rosalinde speaks to her as being younger, and Railanor is only older than Ithilion, so I'm pretty sure it goes
>Galadmir > Eltolinde = Rosalinde = Lhinalagos > Railanor > Ithilion
Lhinalagos also kinda depends on how long the childhood period is for elves, I just know that him and Eltolinde were childhood friends.
>every squad parked around galarius forecasted to do less damage than his auto heal
>fight off random enemies on the side
>eventually benegaria team completely destroys him
thanks for the save ren also what the frick happened
Fricking an elf is literally what the Unicorn intended. The Cornian bloodline must be strengthened
Im getting fricked so hard by 3x calvary wild rush what is this bullshit?
So use Fran and insta kill all of them?
Why is the Unicorn like this?
>must stay devoted
Frick you Clive
Im getting fricked so hard by Alain
We know Scarlett.
We know Dinah
We know Lex
We know Rosalinde
>t.
We know Virginia
We know Primm
We know Tatiana
I wish that was me...
We know Melisandre
We know Galerius
You don't need to tell us that, Ochlys.
