>archer/flyer: makes a ranged attack >fighter: covers it >archer/flyer: learn to attack two targets, attack a row, attack a column, attack the whole team, attack twice in a row, inflict poison/burn/freeze >fighter:
They really need to step it up in a patch, like give them the ability to ignore debuffs from ranged attacks and making it so provoke forces the enemy to use single target attacks.

Great argument.Look: I get that you really want this game to keep getting content but you're setting yourself up for disappointment.
>finally got Amalia with my level 20ish army >not even going to give her the ring >going to keep her on a unit with just her and my self-insert apathetic-voiced generic vanguard >using that coliseum item that gives buffs if you have less unit members

Do vanguards get any cool skills later on? I’m playing on the hardest difficulty that isn’t TZ. How long will I be able to goof off with this?
Nah I get him. >spend so much time around the most beautiful skimpiest clad women in the world you become apathetic to them >but then you meet this homely, demure 6/10 gray mouse and she's nothing like you ever seen
The frontline/backline meme is funny to me because realistically you should just destroy everything 10x over before it can target either line
Gryphons are whatever line they need to be in so that your tactics and turn order to work out
clicking the left analog stick allows you to switch between direct pathing and pathing that follows things like roads. I didn't find this out until yesterday. I'm 30% done with my TZ playthrough.
I'm not even done with the game, so no I haven't beaten the game. I think I only walked for the chicken quests.
I also make sure to mount up for travel on paved roads, that horse running SFX is crisp.
Wait what? I just beat the thorn map in elfland and was wondering why Alain insisted on not following the roads (which he always did when I didn't want him to).
I like this game a lot, but I think the moment it stops giving new things that are interesting, it kind of slogs. And it mostly happens in the 4th islands where the new classes don't really have anything that pop out about them outside they are angels. I liked the faithless holy knight, the rest suck ass.
Probably you can combo a lot of stuff that would never be combo'd normally with thieves the wolves
I actually didn't know you can set passive skill's targets. It made my run unnecessarily hard because I had to wrestle with the default targetting using plumes and mirrors.
https://www.nintendolife.com/news/2024/04/new-unicorn-overlord-survey-gauges-interest-in-sequel >Here's the exact question fans in Asia have been sent: >“Do you plan on purchasing any sequels to ‘Unicorn Overlord’ if they were to be made?”
Oh baby.
Man if you think a corpo like Atlus isn't gonna milk a success you're dead wrong. They have milked Persona 5 for a decade, and even Vanillaware autism has a price tag.
I'm not sure if this is Vanillaware's best selling game yet.
So if you're supposed to give the ring to whoever you trust the most, why would you give it to a woman? Can you give it to a guy without starting a homosexual relationship?
>see enemy squad >prediction says they wipe my squad >look at their skills and stats >tweak my tactics and gear >prediction says I wipe their squad >brain releases fun chemicals
something like that
I want to use an aesthetic mirror on Alain for different colored hair and armor. What is the best stat spread to choose for him? Double Balanced is fine, but does double Offensive do better?
There are a whole bunch of rapports that really wouldn't make much sense if you happened to not get them in order. >Scarlett just comes across as a total schizo yandere if you don't do her Melissandre, Rosalinde or Eltolinde rapports first. >Fran telling Virginia she should be there for her in case any bugs cross her path makes no sense if you didn't do her Scarlett and Yunifi rapports first. >Jeremy revealing to Aubin the real reason for his wierd protective impulses makes no sense if you didn't do his rapport with Alain first.
Well, the zenoiran empire literally fell overnight in a wave of destruction, leaving all of their cities in ruins, so there was probably not much actual written document that survived it and even less people left to pass down it's history via oral means. And the few survivors would have probably been dumb slaves that weren't allowed to know jackshit.
Selvie's epilogue does say she's probably the first person in a long time to make such great strides in making discoveries and doing archeology of the ancient zenoiran empire.

No idea, I haven't finished all of her rapports yet. I found it really odd in the Mordon/Lhinalagos rapport that she seems to have a wierd obsession with mushrooms, so I'm guessing that will be related to an obsession with poisons in some other rapport.
Eltolinde + Umerus rapport goes into it.
Eltolinde talks about how she was trained to be leader by her very strict nursemaid, who didn't even let her go outside to play in the woods. So she secretly rebelled by planting her own garden in the basement, but well, the only thing that can grow in a basement without sunlight is mushrooms. She enjoyed it, but the nursemaid eventually found out and burned it all down (Rosalinde secretly snitched because the mushroom garden was starting to look like a horror story with how many and how much were growing). Eltolinde was sad, so the nursemaid agreed to let her have a small corner of her own garden. Eltolinde said she planted mint, and then Umerus is shocked because mint plants consume every other plant in the same area. Eltolinde just goes "teehee, plants sure are fun" and leaves.
Really feels to me like Eltolinde is the kind of character that presents a really innocent and naive facade but is really the cunning and deceitful one.

The shame with Eltolinde is that she's the far better character of the twins, but you don't really get to see what makes her interesting unless you go through all of her supports since she's got some layers. Rosalinde on the other hand gives you her whole deal even in the main story of the game (and of course there's the obvious bonus of her being mega thirsty for Alain) so she sticks out right off the bat which has made her the far more popular elf sister.
I don't dislike Rosalinde, but she's so much less interesting of a character than Eltolinde.

Tbqh I went through the game thinking both Eltolinde and Rosalinde were by far the flattest and least interesting of the main girls. Rosalinde really doesn't seem to have any character trait beyond thirsting for Alain, and Eltolinde as far as the main story shows doesn't have even that.
By comparison you've got Virginia being a total ass and also her revenge plot, you've got Berengaria and her reconciliation with Travis, you've got Yunifi discovering and coming to terms with her past and Morard's, and you've got Scarlett and the absolute BULLSHIT this game throws at her from every side.
So Eltolinde having some hidden layers that also paint her as a more active character that can take the initiative in things that annoy her is a welcome addition.

>Eltolinde's best rapport moment is found in a random rapport that initially has nothing to do with her
Why would VW do this to her?
Chloes explicitly mentions her bearing a child for you, and might be the only one, she's faithful and loyal at the start no worries needed about her being a seductress after your kingdom.
Chloe is probably the nicest one since it is so vanilla.
But that cucks Lex. Doing Virginia cucks Ramza. Banging Monica fricks Clive. All the best girls are already interested in your best friends and it would be uncool to take them

Chloe never ends up with Lex, despite being put on the same panel neither of their epilogues mention each other. I also thought Aramis would end up with Primm but no he spends the rest of his life guarding his brother from the shadows.

I just got to Bastorias and "rock paper scissors" strategy isn't working anymore. I've been playing the game like Fire Emblem but now run into bullshit like flying units having built in arrow evasion. I'm thinking it's better to build cracked out squads synergized to the gills with item optimization out the ass that turn into all-round walking rape holocausts instead of trying to "counter" the enemy every map.
The same true strikes that have been the bane of all things flying counter Gryphon Glide. You even get another bow user with Eagle Eye.
Anyway, you should always try to make your squads good at general combat, but part of that is finding the right counters to things.
>I just got to Bastorias and "rock paper scissors" strategy isn't working anymore.
I haven't used this strategy since Cornia
Drakenhold's wyvern riders demolish the backrow
Elfhein's elves invalidate anyone who's weak to magic
At this point I just send out my strongest units and let my other formations eat up the exp
I was getting my ass kicked by this game in just the same way until I realized this isn't fire emblem and you are much better off countering enemy situations than specific enemy units.
Need a quick react to enemy spawning and to take down towers/ballista? Send a true strike init-pump full cav squad. Need valor? Make a quick impetus setup to farm.
Need to protect your command post? Spawn in a bunch of slow otherwise useless tanks that you don't need to micromanage.
zenoira basically nuked themselves. just keep playing the game and you'll find out.
I read all of the archive and about to do the shrines + final fight and nothing was ever explained. Where do people get these from?
>I read all of the archive and about to do the shrines + final fight and nothing was ever explained. Where do people get these from? you're literally told in one of the shrines that the souls of zenoira's ppl were rent asunder when they sacrificed the unicorn in their bid for immortality.
I played on Expert and I hardly ever needed to change my good formations. If anything what I had to do was remove a glaring weakness and refine tactics or equipment
The Dark Elves wanted a closed nation so they hid underground, meanwhile light elves have been race mixing with humans to eventually overthrow the dark elves. It's all in Fevrith Archive.
>Scarlett doesn't know the origin of angels - angels don't even know the origin of angels >Bestrals don't know the origin of bestrals - neither do elves
Do historians not exist in this world? I get that certain details can be lost to history, but it's insane that there are no records of the birth of an entire race

Did I miss something with Eltolinde?
Her and Alain just gloss over something about poison that I found kinda odd.
No idea, I haven't finished all of her rapports yet. I found it really odd in the Mordon/Lhinalagos rapport that she seems to have a wierd obsession with mushrooms, so I'm guessing that will be related to an obsession with poisons in some other rapport.
In the Alain/Travis rapport 1 Travis comments how being able to read is an uncommon skill for people still and that books are a rarity due to how few scribes exist because of this. Education and history is barely a thing i this world.
our modern conception of recording history didn't really emerge until the classical period. maybe the iron age if you're willing to look at the latter parts of the old testament as the psuedo-history book it is considering it references real historical figures and events so frequently.
yeah, the book written by a bunch of random homosexuals 40-80 years after Jesus died (the authors never even met him) about how to reconcile a certain servant religion with the interests of the dominant political and economic powers of the time
TOTALLY
knows all about the birth of humans and our planet
The elves had a library until either Baltro or Alcina burned it down. Morard also immediately has the documents on Reimann's experiments burned and no one even puts up a fight.
Are there any more Spears with Magic/Phys split toward the end of the game? The only one I found was the green Anemoi one that I stuck on Rosalinde but I still need one for Eto. I'm not gonna have to upgrade her starting Spear, do I?
I find it weird that a horse god is against polygamy, but even more suspect that the counterpart/partner to the horse god is the maiden god. What the frick were Vanillaware trying to say?
condition 1: prioritize back row
condition 2: highest Phys. Atk? (haven't unlocked wereowls, but i doubt they have any phys. atk, also assuming the game accepts that logic.)
Back when I made it, I asked for advice on how to actually make decent looking .webms before but nobody answered, so I just fricked with the FPS and resolution until it worked, I don't know if the converters I used even had bitrate, but I'll look for it if I make another one
anon it was just a meme webm I made where level 50 Lex(because you need a guard rate close to 100%) can actually deal damage to level 38 enemies, calm down.
Plus I am pretty sure you can actually use that Lex setup to make Ochlys good until she gets discharge if you give her the gauntlets that buff her on dodge, all the team needs is a way to deal with shielded units and she can act just like an endgame Breaker spamming Enrage to sweep up the entire enemy team.
Overlordbros I haven't played a game like this in forever but I'm loving this. I know I'm about to run into a wall but picrelated am I getting the basic idea of "units" right in terms of spread? I'm fairly early on (just unlocked the witch) so idk, help please because my autism is getting in the way of me enjoying this game i fear
Focus on squad size rather than more squads, with your units you should be running 4 teams of 3. Having more units unlock more tactical options both in combat and valor skills etc in the field map.
Team comp wise, if you are using josef put him upfront, he's very strong for early parts of the game.
I found Bastorias pretty underwhelming since you can just fly over the mountain, deploy everyone at that outpost and kill the rat, at least Albion felt climatic with the rain and the long winding road
Yeah the bastoras one was a lot harder for how many things you had to account for. Albion being a straight line just made it a meat grinder for enemies.
it's obviously a psudeo spookocracy the leaders are just figureheads, the fricking fae are actually central intelligence and run the whole country whilst pretending to be harmless little sprites as a psyop.
>fly across the mountain to the nearest post >send cav to take the northern one >take over the bows and catapults >take the westernmost post >fly to eligor directly, no need to deal with those bullshit magic supports and owls
>Rare Blue Hair
I'd like to think this makes her a distant relative of cornian royalty but who fricking knows, she's probably a low ranking noble as I doubt they would let a commoner serve as a guard to royalty
Stallions are polyamorous and will breed with any mares they can depending on their status, The unicorn is a massive hypocrite and Alain should be impregnating everybody as his status allows.
>alain literally frees the entire known world except the capital of Cornia >"I am sure to win because I can possess like...an entire city with the souls of my people"
Was Galerius mentally deficient? How can you even remain moronic as a ghost, don't physical ailments cease to affect you?
Galerius was pretty disappoint in general for me. >Cool intro >Meeting him the next time was also cool, beats Alain's ass >Then he just goes to the capital and sits there for what I can only assume is months >Crusty necromancer is the one going around the map and being jobber supreme >Finally fight Galerius at the end >You find out he fricking jobbed at the beginning of the game to Alain's mom >Jobs one last time to crusty necromancer that doesn't even have a specifically fleshed out plan >The End
It's very clear that their plan was what happens in the bad ending, you killing your mother and him taking you over. To just rule for eternity. Once you bring the rings along they panic, and are just forced to improvise.
Humans are into defiling the "pure" elves and the elves are raging e-girl/shotacons who gets off on ravaging humans that are the equivalent age of elven toddlers.
You just know this homie is living out a happy life with her until she dies of old and and he proceeds to be an unhappy frick unable to get over her death for the next 500 years
He is a part of Rosalinde's personal guard and would have some half-elf kids to keep watch on, so he'd still have plenty of purpose to live for. But yeah, he'd probably be internally praying for some kind of war or conflict to break out so he'd have an excuse to die and see his beloved 5head again.
It's usually that but also >Dude alcoho- >Ser Mordon, thank you for rebuilding our entire town, and even better than before the war! And you did it for free! You are such a kind soul. >...a-alcohol, am I right A-Alain?
>Mel attends a banquet 10 years ago >She spent the entire evening looking at some handsome guy >Guy later revealed to have aided a thief in getting into the place >Monica and everyone else assume that Mel was actually suspicious of the guy when she was just oggling at him
lmao
Anyone know how to take out the Royal Knights? The front row seems to be resistant to any damage I dish at them.
I tried Auch, but his magic does barely anything to the Legionnaire.
I tried Yunifi who specifically said she's good at killing front row units, nothing.
I also tried a bunch of other combinations and still no result.
The Breaker just activates her crit and one-shots literally anything no matter how high their phys defense is.
The only thing I haven't tried yet is Travis to dodge everything since I gave him a +50 evasion item and Selvie to debuff the crit b***h in the back. I just need to find a Provoke item I can put on Travis, but i'm not sure where to find one.
Also forgot to mention I couldn't find a picture of the team comp to give an example since uploading picture from the Switch is annoying, so the best I could find is a picture of their rank.
put alain and all your best knights on one team, have them buff each other, easy win
It's interesting how despite Ogre Battle being the basis for its gameplay it really feels like Fire Emblem was the basis for its world and characters, but specifically the early Kaga era stuff. Stuff like the chapter where you see Aramis rescue Primm and then need to use Primm to reconvince him to join your side felt like something straight out of FE1-3 for instance.
She is designed to be alain support. Passive Miracle to give Alain his PP back from Rapid Order + healing + spell to attack armored units. Drill hair + massive breasts are always good.
>Amalias breasts are bigger than Scarlett's
This feels wrong. I think under the armor she's big but their breasts should be the same size/mass, with Scarlett's being proportionally larger when compared to the rest of her body.
Ngl bro, there are other options I'd have voted before Leah, they just weren't in there. Leah is really nice though, the one I like most from those options.
>Spinning Edge >~180 potency row attack that refunds you some pp to spend on counters or other bullshit
Jesus fricking christ
Any interesting Alain setups to maximize spinning edge spam, itemization wise?
I assume book Scarlett is a given
Purely because they are freaks of nature that should not exist and they live in eternal suffering and desperately seek the sweet release of death so they might be reborn once more in their original elven forms
Purely because they are freaks of nature that should not exist and they live in eternal suffering and desperately seek the sweet release of death so they might be reborn once more in their original elven forms
Good, why would I ally myself with what is essentially the middle-east? fulls of brown terrorists and mercs.
Much better to keep a constant war going with them to maintain my military economy.
Not in this universe, you cant walk a mile without running into a fort filled with mercs for hire. What happens to them with no war? they turn on you and become highy trained war-hardened bandits
I wish there was a way I could filter out already equipped items so when I'm decking out new units or upgrading I don't have to see 200 items burying the unequipped items.
Also you guys were right I wasn't selecting the assist button on my ranged Rolf leader. I could have sworn it was automatically done
You can't do "Not armored".
Pursuit isn't really strong on its own, but with Flying Pursuit you can kill off flyers that your other guys missed because of their evasion.
>Why?
Fights end in 1 round of attacks 99.9% of the time. So might as well go for the high value move. If I'm deploying a Sniper I'm trying to hit 1 of 2 rows for maximum damage.
made dual shot target 25% or less health, it doesn't do any good if you aren't killing anything that you could have with a single shot
also put some least%hp on those single shots, again to kill things rather than chip stuff that's going to live
the fact you can't set "target only X" for multiple targets on one line is such bullshit
same for no condition for "user is currently not buffed" for attacks that target enemies
>tire of the instant dragoon dive white cat-hood bullshit >use Hildas regular attacks >add Govil for shits and giggles >their entire combat plan is a cascade of burning, freeze, impaling and relentless wolf attacks
It's fun watching them go, even though they can't deal with everything. Could give some tome to the witch, all she does is giving them true strike anyway (Govil might need it).
>gets jealous because Alain talks to other people on his coronation day
Imagine how feisty this b***h gets when Melisandre comes begging to be a concubine
>t. never lived in the cold
Those parts don't really get cold as long as you're active. it's your extremities that go numb. If your thighs or arms (not just the skin) are numb from cold, you're in trouble
How do you set up Bastard's Cross? It's nice for Landsknechts, Marauders and Horses but everything else dies to a single regular attack and those 3 just count as Infantry.
>bestrals are useless during the day and OP at night >day/night cycle doesn't change during battles >even if it did you can just switch out the bestral at any garrison any time throughout the battle
What's the point of that gimmick then?
I really hate shit like that, when gimmicks are made but not really fleshed out, instead they are tacked on and out of place.
I'm halfway through with furry Skyrim which means the game is close to being over.
If you're implying the last 20% of the game suddenly adds the day/night cycles to battles then that's a little fricking late to do that.
It doesn't work that way.
Misfortune happens to those who frick with the Unicorn. Gerald was killed by bandits, not turned to ash, for fooling around with Alcina.
This game gives me severe decision paralysis because of all the options.
For example, who benefits most from the early Idealist Mirror? I thought it would just be cosmetic so then I went to use it on Alain but it comes with stat growth options too and now I have to think about who would change theirs. Alain is probably already in his ideal setup with double well rounded.
Also is it just me or is killing everyone, swimming in extra resources (especially crystal which are very useful), and then making stat optimized generics to fill the gap stronger than playing normally?
>making stat optimized generics to fill the gap stronger than playing normally?
yes, this is the way to minmax, but it's not as much fun as building teams of friends and figuring out how to make it work, IMO
Growths have a minor impact. UO is a game of abundance and plenty. You can tell the devs wanted you to have fun and experiment and be free to play suboptimally. You realistically can't make a decision that will softlock you or gravely set you back, so just buy anything that looks cool and use your mirrors and stat boosters on your wife. And you'll still have too much to spend. I haven't fallen below 300k since Drakenhold and I'm no penny-pincher.
>I haven't fallen below 300k since Drakenhold and I'm no penny-pincher
I'm at 2.5k in the beast land, wtf. I haven't been buying everything either, and I used liquid fortunes when it makes sense
Are you repairing towns and stationing guards? Someone said that has a big effect but I don't know where it's coming from honestly. I just know I'm loaded constantly. Feels impossible to spend it all, unless I clear out shops and buy actual junk. I buy every plume, superweapon, and every 40k blue pendant I've seen in addition to other goodies and it just never catches up with me.
Yeah, I've had to hire randoms because I ran out of people to station in towns. I dunno, maybe I just need to put together a israelite squad with golden eggs and miser bracelets
I actually never hired more generics than I planned to use for combat, didn't want my roster clogged. Sold all my gold eggs immediately too.
Maybe you're just buying too much stuff? I don't hesitate to spend if I see something I like, but I'm still selective.
Personally I think it's like how most people will try harder to protect a dog than another person, even if they just met the dog and have known the person for years.
Elves are the people and humans are dogs in the analogy by the way. Human men belong to elf queens.
I feel like the lategame gets really difficult not because of the enemies but because you have to actually micro-manage your tactics so your team doesn't waste all their AP in useless stuff
This video has it https://youtu.be/ZxK_PsmIUJc?si=JkcEUXffl4FwIR_l
Leah has some of the best dialogue in that ending and i dont even like her that much.
People keep bringing up sex and shipping more than anything else, so I can tell it's an awful game.
Last time we tried to have long gameplay discussions the thread went to shit because nobody could agree what was good and what wasnt.
Leah is kind of a weird character
She has a decent amount of story presence, decent connections to important characters, alright design
But she's still one of the most forgettable characters to me, maybe because you get 2 other swordmasters around the same time and she has the worst growth combination so I never used her
The story is mostly just there to serve as a reason for the gameplay to happen. Waifugays always dominate any thread for any game with females in it, because they post a lot and post more images than other posters.
Can they win battles with minimal damage? Then it's good enough for now. Frick with it again when they start losing
Oh I've been demolishing everything except the coliseum on autopilot since entering Drakenhold.
I just finished Bastorias and spent 2 hours making completely different squads to try and optimize things a little more.
Autistically rearranging your squads *is* the game. The ability to run the game completely on auto pilot because you've created nigh-unkillable doomstacks means you're playing the game correctly
You dont, thats part of the fun with this genre. Organizing my army in Ogre Battle was just as fun.
This is why i always makes as many squads as possible with as many different characters as i can.
>Alain in the far right so you can't see the rest of the front line
why would you do this? Horses go AWAY from the camera so they don't block everything
I dont remember, i think it was needed for this specific fight so i could avoid someone dying. Otherwise i always left Alain at the other side because of what you mentioned.
Is there any big difference between Switch and PS5 version? I only have a 1080p tv so I don't care about 4k. I think i'd rather play it in portable mode on the switch.
I have spent literal hours in forts making up shit to test, my switch says I have 175 hours across my two playthroughs. As a fightinggay this fulfills that autism but without tbe stress of multiplayer.
Alain doesnt really need a healer
Both elf sisters work great as mixed damage dealers and if Alain gets fricked up they can cure status and heal at the same time anyway, essentially for free
>work with Rosalinde and Rail-me-now everyday
>settle for normal villager girl
based?
Male elves owe human women sex.
The Dragon lady is very OP, a good team with her can almost solo a lot of fights
Alain? More like Alame.
>archer/flyer: makes a ranged attack
>fighter: covers it
>archer/flyer: learn to attack two targets, attack a row, attack a column, attack the whole team, attack twice in a row, inflict poison/burn/freeze
>fighter:
They really need to step it up in a patch, like give them the ability to ignore debuffs from ranged attacks and making it so provoke forces the enemy to use single target attacks.
enemy archers are moronic so if you put a flier and a vanguard on the frontline your entire team is safe from arrows
give us a custom mission maker that lets us share missions online as a challenge to others so people can cook up the most diabolical enemy behaviors.
That's just the arena isn't it?
ehhh, I guess but singular fights without the broader context of a mission loses something.
I just want a higher level map to get people to 50 with. The Galerius method is tedious.
>every custom map has 1000 archers on towers with legionnaires protecting them from non combat damage, also a few witches for Gravity, also Knights and Wyverns waiting to charge/ dive
>Doesn't know how to abuse AI quirks
>He doesn't put ailment immunity on all of his cover bots
Skill issue
This. You don't need to cover 'literally every possibility', you just need to cover 'what the enemy does' in the time it takes before you murder them.
>what one class learns

>m-muh items
We know about items. What's being compared is what they get naturally and how one is clearly less developed.

This newbie thinks vanillaware games get post launch support. Let me guess: you'd like some DLC or a Sequel as well?
They gave support to DC 4 months in, in the form of content only autists would enjoy.
Theres still hope yet.
There's an Atlus survey asking people about their interest in a sequel, so maybe it's not completely off the table
Have you not played dragon's crown? Check the patch notes for all the shit they added.
Have you not played Odin Sphere and 13 Sentinels?
>Odin Sphere
Try picking more games that came out when patches were a thing, and remasters don't count.
>the remaster that completely changed the balance and introduced new balance issues doesn't counter because...
Great argument.Look: I get that you really want this game to keep getting content but you're setting yourself up for disappointment.
There's so many good fricking spears
And spear users all just want to use their basic skills
>finally got Amalia with my level 20ish army
>not even going to give her the ring
>going to keep her on a unit with just her and my self-insert apathetic-voiced generic vanguard
>using that coliseum item that gives buffs if you have less unit members

Do vanguards get any cool skills later on? I’m playing on the hardest difficulty that isn’t TZ. How long will I be able to goof off with this?
>be a tall handsome dark elf
>go for the plainest girl in the entire game
Nah I get him.
>spend so much time around the most beautiful skimpiest clad women in the world you become apathetic to them
>but then you meet this homely, demure 6/10 gray mouse and she's nothing like you ever seen
That's normal, look at celebrities and their partners.
She eats ass. Elf women are prim and proper with elf men. Humans bring out the 'worst' in elves.
Plain girls are always best girls, that's why Chloe is best in game.
someone please spoil me on the following:
do upgrades only cost 1 fevrite per item?
That plus 50 honor.
neat, thanks anon
>Why do elves and humans get along so well?
Hatred and lust.
Are gryphons frontline or backline units?
>gryphons, gladiators, doom knights
backline
Depends on gear and how much you want to invest in evasion.
The frontline/backline meme is funny to me because realistically you should just destroy everything 10x over before it can target either line
Gryphons are whatever line they need to be in so that your tactics and turn order to work out
Depends on the rng
Black person
Didn't get to post last thread but just wanted to say I KNEEL to the LexGOD now
How?!
Tell me something obscure and obtuse about tactics that you didn't find out or understand until the end of the game
it took my embarrasingly long to realize the party's AP and PP was shown at the bottom corner during a fight
clicking the left analog stick allows you to switch between direct pathing and pathing that follows things like roads. I didn't find this out until yesterday. I'm 30% done with my TZ playthrough.
I didn't know this at all, holy shit this is such a game changer.
>play the game for 60 hours
>never tried holding the run button when mining
>didn't go to the options before even starting the game and toggling auto-run
>He didn't walk on the overworld map for dramatic effect
You didn't beat the game.
I'm not even done with the game, so no I haven't beaten the game. I think I only walked for the chicken quests.
I also make sure to mount up for travel on paved roads, that horse running SFX is crisp.
But I have autorun enabled.
Wait what? I just beat the thorn map in elfland and was wondering why Alain insisted on not following the roads (which he always did when I didn't want him to).
I didn't notice the toggle on/off on the tactics editor until late bastorias.
Front row moves first in initiative ties
Farther units move before closer units in initiative ties (this is obvious if you look at enemy turn order)
It took me forever to realize what governs the group's stamina because I'm a fastclicking dipshit.
Until now I realized this
is a unicorn head upside down made with skulls
>NONE OF YOU ARE MAIDENS
>BEGONE THOTS!
It’s made from the bones of the unfaithful partners.
You don't have to fire mighty dig immediately, you can move and you can even keep charging it. Figured it out in TZ elfheim.
>gets to come home to ear rubbing and snuggling with his qt human gf no matter what
>Alain can get straight up rejected by some girls
It isn't fair.
>whiff 3 attacks
>hmm... yes this is exactly what I transcended death to experience, time to go to hell LOL
what the FRICK was his problem?
What would sex with Ilenia be like?

Oh baby.
They already said they weren’t doing that
Man if you think a corpo like Atlus isn't gonna milk a success you're dead wrong. They have milked Persona 5 for a decade, and even Vanillaware autism has a price tag.

Can you sound a little less in the closet
None of them say "love", and only the lion says "propose". They're varying degrees of cute.
They're all just bro talk, you'll be fine.
Unless you pick Travis, that one is super gay and Alain plows his boipussy daily.
thanks fellas

I don't like fighting bestrals. It's just boring watching so many pursuits and owls restoring pp.
I only watch fights when I don't understand why I'm losing.
>half the time is spent watching owls restore each other
>I BELIEVE IN YOU
What was the gameplay purpose of this?
>see enemy squad
>prediction says they wipe my squad
>look at their skills and stats
>tweak my tactics and gear
>prediction says I wipe their squad
>brain releases fun chemicals
something like that
I want to use an aesthetic mirror on Alain for different colored hair and armor. What is the best stat spread to choose for him? Double Balanced is fine, but does double Offensive do better?
Offensive/Offensive is what I have him
I personally prefer DEATH TO ALL HAREMgayS HERETICS WILL BE PURGED
Oh shit it's his staff, all this time I had thought that was his hand and he was tapping the floor.
yeah i thought so too
thought he was just being weird
Yeah I thought it was just, like, a nervous tick or something.
Actually kinda prefered that, it was funny.
>use lighting strike on archers
>use nature's wrath on armored
>ENTER ARBALEST
nice """"tactics"""" video game
arbalists aren't armored though?
Exactly. Because of greatshields using nature's wrath is better but they're archers so I have to manually change the tactics every time they show up.
Scarlett. She's already my favorite girl but also she got the best expression.
>do Clive’s final rapport with Josef
>he tells Clive to get Monica a nice present
>do Clive’s final rapport with Monica
>he gets her a present
Well I’m glad I did those in order
There are a whole bunch of rapports that really wouldn't make much sense if you happened to not get them in order.
>Scarlett just comes across as a total schizo yandere if you don't do her Melissandre, Rosalinde or Eltolinde rapports first.
>Fran telling Virginia she should be there for her in case any bugs cross her path makes no sense if you didn't do her Scarlett and Yunifi rapports first.
>Jeremy revealing to Aubin the real reason for his wierd protective impulses makes no sense if you didn't do his rapport with Alain first.
Did I miss something with Eltolinde?
Her and Alain just gloss over something about poison that I found kinda odd.
eltolinde has yandere vibes.
Really feels to me like Eltolinde is the kind of character that presents a really innocent and naive facade but is really the cunning and deceitful one.
thats what make her great
It’s more like she’s naive and innocent but also somewhat crazy
So Eltolinde having some hidden layers that also paint her as a more active character that can take the initiative in things that annoy her is a welcome addition.
watch linalhagos and mordon support
>Eltolinde's best rapport moment is found in a random rapport that initially has nothing to do with her
Why would VW do this to her?
Feel like the more I read about these two the worse Rosa comes off and the better Elto seems.
This carpet muncher treats your proposal like she was just offered a promotion
It basically is for her. Reminder that she doesn't marry you, but uses you to take a bunch of land and expand her territory.
I haven't seen a single one of these epilogues that sounded good. Literally every girl seems to betray you or take advantage of you in some way.
Frick that, it's Josef for me. I know he's trustworthy.
Chloes explicitly mentions her bearing a child for you, and might be the only one, she's faithful and loyal at the start no worries needed about her being a seductress after your kingdom.
Their fault for being so slow.
>Banging Monica
Kek
Chloe is probably the nicest one since it is so vanilla.
Only some of them are bad.
Where do you find the character logs? I keep seeing that they've been updated, but I can't find them.
want to make a good decision here. definitely not marrying an elf
>Literally too perfect to have
A cruel joke, VW...
Shame she has Clive, her voice is pure sex.
I hate blue-haired fops so goddamn much
I just got to Bastorias and "rock paper scissors" strategy isn't working anymore.
Why do dark elves only get like 20% of the country?
Because they can build downwards.
Racism.
The Dark Elves wanted a closed nation so they hid underground, meanwhile light elves have been race mixing with humans to eventually overthrow the dark elves. It's all in Fevrith Archive.
segregation
>want to change my Alain and maiden's color
>always marry Leah, who compliments his bade pallet perfectly
>Scarlett doesn't know the origin of angels - angels don't even know the origin of angels
>Bestrals don't know the origin of bestrals - neither do elves
Do historians not exist in this world? I get that certain details can be lost to history, but it's insane that there are no records of the birth of an entire race
Where are the written records of the birth of the human race IRL? None of that chriscuck nonsense please.
ancient zenoira was obliterated by the unicorn so angels are kinda understandable
idk about bestrals though, maybe those in the know all decided it was better off buried and forgotten like ramona did
Well, the zenoiran empire literally fell overnight in a wave of destruction, leaving all of their cities in ruins, so there was probably not much actual written document that survived it and even less people left to pass down it's history via oral means.
In the Alain/Travis rapport 1 Travis comments how being able to read is an uncommon skill for people still and that books are a rarity due to how few scribes exist because of this. Education and history is barely a thing i this world.
Probably destroyed to stop people from digging into Zenoira and opening old wounds, stop them from trying to play god like they did.
I mean, we hardly know what happened in our own world, considering how far back civilization goes.
Back in the days before modern history, all it took was is few genocides and a few book burnings to shit all over.
our modern conception of recording history didn't really emerge until the classical period. maybe the iron age if you're willing to look at the latter parts of the old testament as the psuedo-history book it is considering it references real historical figures and events so frequently.
>bestrals dont know the origin of bestrals
we dont have any written record on the origin of humans either, dont say bible
>dont say bible
We know both how and why evolution happens so we do know the origin of species.
Not liking the answer doesn't mean it isn't true, anon.
yeah, the book written by a bunch of random homosexuals 40-80 years after Jesus died (the authors never even met him) about how to reconcile a certain servant religion with the interests of the dominant political and economic powers of the time
TOTALLY
knows all about the birth of humans and our planet
It was mere generations ago
The elves had a library until either Baltro or Alcina burned it down. Morard also immediately has the documents on Reimann's experiments burned and no one even puts up a fight.
Anyone have Jerome's ring scene?
Does Alain get to frick Lotti in this one or is she Jerome's wife
Why are there so many ruins?
The overworld feels like it has more ancient ruins than actual settlements
What the frick happened to this world
You don't frick with Unicorns, he left just enough of Zenoira to serve as a message.
homies tried to mess with the unicorn
zenoira basically nuked themselves. just keep playing the game and you'll find out.
>what is it gonna do, smite us?
Are there any more Spears with Magic/Phys split toward the end of the game? The only one I found was the green Anemoi one that I stuck on Rosalinde but I still need one for Eto. I'm not gonna have to upgrade her starting Spear, do I?
I find it weird that a horse god is against polygamy, but even more suspect that the counterpart/partner to the horse god is the maiden god. What the frick were Vanillaware trying to say?
For some reason Clive gets targeted and killed the most in my Cav team. Monica, Adel and Clive at the front. Celeste and Scarlett in the back.
Is coffee good for you?
condition 1: prioritize back row
condition 2: highest Phys. Atk? (haven't unlocked wereowls, but i doubt they have any phys. atk, also assuming the game accepts that logic.)
stat conditions don't work for passives since the passive check only has 1 target who will always meet the condition
Dust bath
bird breasts
Would Morard and Yunifi call you dad if you married her?
Lex doubters APOLOGISE
He was my first bench
Lex leads my second squad with an almost identical formation and unit composition as Alain's, except they're all the second string.
>he hides his fliers away from archers
>he hides his cavalry from fliers
coward
I just let them die and revive them after the fight
>meme DPS setup
>Soldier and Shaman doing the heavy lifting
every time, .webm unrelated
You can just change the vid bitrate instead of making the webms tiny to make it under 4mb
Back when I made it, I asked for advice on how to actually make decent looking .webms before but nobody answered, so I just fricked with the FPS and resolution until it worked, I don't know if the converters I used even had bitrate, but I'll look for it if I make another one
>Soldier
>it's okay when lexhomosexuals do it
frick off
unironically yes because everyone benches Lex
unironically frick off
I literally just don't see it used. Shouldn't be mentioned alongside Shaman.
anon it was just a meme webm I made where level 50 Lex(because you need a guard rate close to 100%) can actually deal damage to level 38 enemies, calm down.
>Virginia and Yahna were in the extra panels
SAVED
nooooo my boss saw these funny images
congrats on the promotion!
The witch girl has a bodycount of literally thousands. I bet she has "known" a lot of nice young princes like Alain in her long, long life
Overlordbros I haven't played a game like this in forever but I'm loving this. I know I'm about to run into a wall but picrelated am I getting the basic idea of "units" right in terms of spread? I'm fairly early on (just unlocked the witch) so idk, help please because my autism is getting in the way of me enjoying this game i fear
It’s so early that team comp doesn’t really come online. Endgame has squads of 5. As long as you are winning fights you are doing fine.
if you are new to rpgs, know the holy trinity: healer, tank, dps
aubin should not be a tank, he has no self sustain, alain should be instead
Focus on squad size rather than more squads, with your units you should be running 4 teams of 3. Having more units unlock more tactical options both in combat and valor skills etc in the field map.
Team comp wise, if you are using josef put him upfront, he's very strong for early parts of the game.
>turning Yunifi into a e-girl who doesn't understand what making kids means
Pathetic.
>ultra horny demibeast girl
My favourite trope
What are the best Star Iron weapons?
They're all the same.
The final map of Albion was such a disappointment compared to Bastorias' one.
I like Sanatio himself but he really is no final region boss material.
I can kinda see Ochlys and Sharon's silhouettes behind Virginia. Not sure bout the 3rd one
Mimonel is too based, bros.
Obviously canon btw (Unicorns be damned)
Probably Chloe.
Left is Fran and center is Sharon, hair on the right is too ambiguous to tell and the only clue is the armor.
Hmm not really sure left is Fran, the hair has the little angel wings on the sides
Lhinalagos...
Even the male elves dress like bawds, how can such a society function?
it's obviously a psudeo spookocracy the leaders are just figureheads, the fricking fae are actually central intelligence and run the whole country whilst pretending to be harmless little sprites as a psyop.
>Elgor's map on TZ
Can you let me play the game, please?
>fly across the mountain to the nearest post
>send cav to take the northern one
>take over the bows and catapults
>take the westernmost post
>fly to eligor directly, no need to deal with those bullshit magic supports and owls
>Dinah involved
Furgays we can’t stop winning!
My Alain is loyal to his wife and only makes passionate love to her.
Based on monogamypilled
Is Leah of good stock? Won't marry some dirty peasant girl.
>Rare Blue Hair
I'd like to think this makes her a distant relative of cornian royalty but who fricking knows, she's probably a low ranking noble as I doubt they would let a commoner serve as a guard to royalty
Seeing as she was left at a castle by whoever her parents were she I interpret it as her bastard child of some noble.
Stallions are polyamorous and will breed with any mares they can depending on their status, The unicorn is a massive hypocrite and Alain should be impregnating everybody as his status allows.
yeah cuz stallions are homosexuals, that's why the unicorn is better than normal horses
While I appreciate your thoughtfulness, a problem remains from just looking at the first page
He gave her warmth alright
>people complain about women being prostitutes
>look for any means necessary to justify having a harem
Absolutely heretical
Welcome to the real world. Reproduction is nature and you are evolved to spread your genes, not someone elses
REJECT THE UNICORN AND DEMOCRACY
TAKE THE HAREM THAT IS RIGHTFULLY YOURS
Don't do it, the Unicorn already killed Gerard.
I have no idea who I want to give the ring to

I like that idea.

Hagfrickers, Dogfrickers, cousinfrickers, bridal-carryfrickers, AND Mesugakifrickers won????
What did they mean by this?
I'm starting to fall for Yunifi...
let me help you fix that.
imagine how many beastren she has..."been" with
you got problems
>alain literally frees the entire known world except the capital of Cornia
>"I am sure to win because I can possess like...an entire city with the souls of my people"
Was Galerius mentally deficient? How can you even remain moronic as a ghost, don't physical ailments cease to affect you?
The story is so incredibly bland and paint by numbers that it makes FE1 look deep by comparison, don't think about it too hard.
Galerius was pretty disappoint in general for me.
>Cool intro
>Meeting him the next time was also cool, beats Alain's ass
>Then he just goes to the capital and sits there for what I can only assume is months
>Crusty necromancer is the one going around the map and being jobber supreme
>Finally fight Galerius at the end
>You find out he fricking jobbed at the beginning of the game to Alain's mom
>Jobs one last time to crusty necromancer that doesn't even have a specifically fleshed out plan
>The End
It's very clear that their plan was what happens in the bad ending, you killing your mother and him taking you over. To just rule for eternity. Once you bring the rings along they panic, and are just forced to improvise.
I mean he would have won without bullshit ring hacks
He probably just sat on his ass thinking "Meh, even if they liberate the whole continent the second that dumbass kid shanks me I'm taking over".
Post fluffy Chloes
Humans are into defiling the "pure" elves and the elves are raging e-girl/shotacons who gets off on ravaging humans that are the equivalent age of elven toddlers.
You just know this homie is living out a happy life with her until she dies of old and and he proceeds to be an unhappy frick unable to get over her death for the next 500 years
That's the best part.
Elves get so god damn sad over your passing that they don't rush off to find another partner as soon as you die.
meh dont care got to bang a cute female villager
He is a part of Rosalinde's personal guard and would have some half-elf kids to keep watch on, so he'd still have plenty of purpose to live for.
But yeah, he'd probably be internally praying for some kind of war or conflict to break out so he'd have an excuse to die and see his beloved 5head again.
Goddamn, look at that forehead.
>smol girl
>large forehead
10/10 choice, Ithilion got so many half-elves out of her.
My girl Eltolinde loves her mushrooms.
>Mordon rapports
dude alcohol lmao
Eltolinde would 100% say that if she got more shitfaced.
It's usually that but also
>Dude alcoho-
>Ser Mordon, thank you for rebuilding our entire town, and even better than before the war! And you did it for free! You are such a kind soul.
>...a-alcohol, am I right A-Alain?
I'll drink to that
Kitra's rapports with him are cute.
You just know as soon as the royal wedding was over she unleashed several hundred years of pent up lust on Alains pelvis
Even the unicorn got scared
>Mel attends a banquet 10 years ago
>She spent the entire evening looking at some handsome guy
>Guy later revealed to have aided a thief in getting into the place
>Monica and everyone else assume that Mel was actually suspicious of the guy when she was just oggling at him
I just need to find a Provoke item I can put on Travis, but i'm not sure where to find one.
put alain and all your best knights on one team, have them buff each other, easy win
what? Knights can't do shit about armor
Also forgot to mention I couldn't find a picture of the team comp to give an example since uploading picture from the Switch is annoying, so the best I could find is a picture of their rank.
I guess that's an option, who'd you recommend?
Okay Selvie was the answer, thanks no one
What the frick
It's interesting how despite Ogre Battle being the basis for its gameplay it really feels like Fire Emblem was the basis for its world and characters, but specifically the early Kaga era stuff. Stuff like the chapter where you see Aramis rescue Primm and then need to use Primm to reconvince him to join your side felt like something straight out of FE1-3 for instance.
are the golden eggs worth keeping, or should i just sell them
Slap them on and gain so much money that the amount you would get from selling them is miniscule in comparison
Please do not let the elves get intoxicated
Elves can’t get drunk unless they’re drinking 100% ethanol
Why is she like this?
To cuck scarlett. Yes Scarlett, the only reason Alain picked you was that it’s the default choice
>the only reason Alain picked you was that it’s the default choice
Speak for yourself.
She is designed to be alain support. Passive Miracle to give Alain his PP back from Rapid Order + healing + spell to attack armored units. Drill hair + massive breasts are always good.
I still picked Rosalinde though.
>simply ask if you like it back
>though I'll not keep it long
I don't know why he says it in such a melodic manner, but I can't unhear it.
>Amalias breasts are bigger than Scarlett's
This feels wrong. I think under the armor she's big but their breasts should be the same size/mass, with Scarlett's being proportionally larger when compared to the rest of her body.
Behold, my terrible taste.
Why the frick was she guardian/defensive, stupid game
>another Leahbro voted too
We are few, but we are dedicated.
Ngl bro, there are other options I'd have voted before Leah, they just weren't in there.
Leah is really nice though, the one I like most from those options.
Scarlett milk...
The tastiest, most nutritious milk in Fevrith, to make Alain and his offspring grow big and strong.
>Spinning Edge
>~180 potency row attack that refunds you some pp to spend on counters or other bullshit
Jesus fricking christ
Any interesting Alain setups to maximize spinning edge spam, itemization wise?
I assume book Scarlett is a given
Probably Calvary Call
>Ganker tells me gilbert is top tier
>get him
>he sucks
Gilbert isn’t top tier. He is either for a 4 man group that is strong or for some goofy combo. Before 5 man squads he kind of sucks.
gilbert is a really great support character, he isn't himself the best unit, but he makes his team make heads roll.
You don't build teams around him, you build good teams that he turns into broken teams. With proper tactics setup a full cav squad deletes gryphons.
Gilbert is good!
We know Virginia, calm down.
Stop posing as Virginia.
He's just a reverse Shaman
i need fast chloe promoted idle stance gif
Hmm, if the poll is still tied when I get back, I'll flip a coin.
Would ravage this middle aged mother
literally built for facials
this but switch fran with virginia then switch virginia with hilda.
You mean built for bearing atleast 10 more heirs
why execute the bestorls other than apperance?
Purely because they are freaks of nature that should not exist and they live in eternal suffering and desperately seek the sweet release of death so they might be reborn once more in their original elven forms
then why not undue their forms with that magic thing?
The magic was lost forever, Yuffie was dissapointed to be unable to return to her Tiger form
oh. rip owl mommy and fox b***h
The magic clearly wasn’t lost forever because yunifi and Morard got turned a decade prior
The magic to go from beast to human specifically was lost according to the great sage at bastorias shrine
He’s wrong because it literally happened a decade prior
moron
hence why you never pay attention to tier shit
The unicorn is going to sodomize you.
If you marry Virginia, then she doesn't marry Ramza, and your two kingdoms will never be united.
Good, why would I ally myself with what is essentially the middle-east? fulls of brown terrorists and mercs.
Much better to keep a constant war going with them to maintain my military economy.
Forever wars are VERY VERY bad for the economy.
Not in this universe, you cant walk a mile without running into a fort filled with mercs for hire. What happens to them with no war? they turn on you and become highy trained war-hardened bandits
Not for the ones at the top
>no earrings of pursuit if you kill mandarin
frick you game
it's your fault for not believing in gammel's fake sister
I never put Alain and Scarlett together, feels way too cookie cutter.
Tsmt that’s why I gave the ring to jerome
I wish there was a way I could filter out already equipped items so when I'm decking out new units or upgrading I don't have to see 200 items burying the unequipped items.
Also you guys were right I wasn't selecting the assist button on my ranged Rolf leader. I could have sworn it was automatically done
Sort by not equipped
it's automatic if you're garrisoned, also doesn't take any stamina in that case.
That is probably what happened. I'm like a few hours into the game but I really wanna Crack it open and learn about it more.
Thanks anon that's gonna save me a ton of burn out
Any room for improvement here? How do you guys set up your archers?
I turn off everything except row shot and eagle eye
Why?
Makes sense for pursuit, but not sure on back row because I also want them to shoot thieves in the front row
why exclusive? Maybe just a preference there. Or maybe, NOT armored
Prio back row on your attacks
Make pursuit only if enemy HP is <25% or does not proc if armoured enemies present
Make pursuit target flying enemies exclusively.
made dual shot target 25% or less health, it doesn't do any good if you aren't killing anything that you could have with a single shot
also put some least%hp on those single shots, again to kill things rather than chip stuff that's going to live
having 3 single shots here is useless. It's only going to get used if there's only 1 enemy left so your conditions don't help at all
the fact you can't set "target only X" for multiple targets on one line is such bullshit
same for no condition for "user is currently not buffed" for attacks that target enemies
that makes sense, I didn't even notice that. Maybe I'll take out Dual Shot and set Row Shot to full rows only
>tire of the instant dragoon dive white cat-hood bullshit
>use Hildas regular attacks
>add Govil for shits and giggles
>their entire combat plan is a cascade of burning, freeze, impaling and relentless wolf attacks
It's fun watching them go, even though they can't deal with everything. Could give some tome to the witch, all she does is giving them true strike anyway (Govil might need it).
i want to commission virginia, gimmie some ideas
Porn or wholesome stuff?
Her watching Alain give the ring to Leah at the alter.
Virginia in a princess dress with frills being miserable.
Whatever you do, don’t make her a secret sub. That’s the worst fricking fetish and every single confident woman gets ruined the same way in fanfics.

I bet she’d get super yandere
I can fix that.

Yuck
Dinah is cute! Not yucky

I most certainly would

>Alain's fw waking up for the 8th time that month at 4am because Dinah and Melisandre got into another catfight

Jesus fricking christ she's ridiculously hot
Why does she have tree trunk legs?
Body needs fat reserves to burn to live up north
>lives in the arctic
>exposes her thighs and arms
Is she stupid?
she has fat so its fine
>t. never lived in the cold
Those parts don't really get cold as long as you're active. it's your extremities that go numb. If your thighs or arms (not just the skin) are numb from cold, you're in trouble
Well her fingers are exposed too
Which girl has the most sensitive butthole?

FLAT FRAN FRIDAY
Fran is not flat.
How do you set up Bastard's Cross? It's nice for Landsknechts, Marauders and Horses but everything else dies to a single regular attack and those 3 just count as Infantry.
Just enjoy the free kill. Have the AP replenishing skill above it set to HP<25%
I set it to target Highest HP
I just use it on the first action on the highest HP enemy and then spam killing chain
>bestrals are useless during the day and OP at night
>day/night cycle doesn't change during battles
>even if it did you can just switch out the bestral at any garrison any time throughout the battle
What's the point of that gimmick then?
I really hate shit like that, when gimmicks are made but not really fleshed out, instead they are tacked on and out of place.
>bestrals are useless during the day
they work fine during the day
>day/night cycle doesn't change during battles
Play more.
I'm halfway through with furry Skyrim which means the game is close to being over.
If you're implying the last 20% of the game suddenly adds the day/night cycles to battles then that's a little fricking late to do that.
The day/night cycles were always there.
I have never experienced it change from day to night and vice versa mid-battle.
I have. only a few times, it's pretty rare
You finish the missions too fast because the game is easy
Kill all knife ears.
That is all. Goodbye.
Look at this cute knife ear.

Her wisdom and experience go a long way. Also helps she's attractive
Exprience goes a long way. Josef is old, but he isnt super humanly so.

>That Sanatio and Ochlys rapport

How would the unicorn feel if we got Rosalinde and Eltolinde drunk and they started rubbing themselves all over Alain like cats?
>twin that isn't married to Alain starts rubbing her hand on his thigh
>Alain bursts into flames
Unicorn rules are bullshit.
It doesn't work that way.
Misfortune happens to those who frick with the Unicorn. Gerald was killed by bandits, not turned to ash, for fooling around with Alcina.
Alain is a canon flirt unicorn be damned
>get princess carried once
>falls madly in love
What's her malfunction?
idk but she cured my racism
Don’t act like you wouldn’t do the same if a beautiful princess carried you
Rosalinde is such a great wingwoman.
>Chloe as rape bait
Hot
My brain has turned to mush trying to make my teams. I need a break from the game.
Use the mirrors as soon as you need them. You'll get infinite of them later on.
>making stat optimized generics to fill the gap stronger than playing normally?
yes, this is the way to minmax, but it's not as much fun as building teams of friends and figuring out how to make it work, IMO
Is Jerome an architect? He seems to be making Lotti fatter with all his baked sweets.
Embrace monogamy.
Only one woman should receive Alain’s seed, and it is the one he loves and trusts above all else.
So true Unicorn-sama
Indeed
NO SER ALAIN NOT LIKE THAT THINK OF YOUR LINEAGE
I’m sorry Josef…
Monarchy has failed. Hundreds of thousand must die.

Sorry but Dinah was welcomed as queen. All cornians loved their cute fluffy dog queen

Shut up unicorn this is why you got killed
MARRY (one person) AND PROCREATE, YOU SHITS
So did the maiden and the unicorn…you know….?
She is a white woman.
welcome back shinzo abe
Both the unicorn and the former prime minister of japan Shinzo Abe are both dead and held the same stance.
Coincidence? I think not
>UO was abe's final trick to finally force Japanese people to have sex and bear kids
I kneel Abe
I WILL correct Ren into being a loving mother of 5
shut up
dont care
Personally I think it's like how most people will try harder to protect a dog than another person, even if they just met the dog and have known the person for years.
Elves are the people and humans are dogs in the analogy by the way. Human men belong to elf queens.
>scarlett heart eyes
>ren inverted nipples
>yunifi distension
>amalia domination loss
Extraordinary.
Morard is the best husband.
who the FRICK is morard
Some Zenoirian gladiator who got turned into a lion.
He's still shit though.
That's not even correct. You don't even know who he is.
He knows was a Zenoirian solder, you moron.
English please.
Omelette du fromage, le nègre.
I feel like the lategame gets really difficult not because of the enemies but because you have to actually micro-manage your tactics so your team doesn't waste all their AP in useless stuff
at least you can save templates for tactics. If only there were templates for unit formations too
So what's stopping me from slapping Amalia on a flier team so I can farm Sigil Trials? Surely the devs foresaw this exploit.
Her combat's pretty ordinary
Shit you're right.
>flyer
Just use Dinah's leap
I haven't got her yet but i'm almost to her, so that's good to know she has that.
Leap is moronic, have fun. And just like any Valor skills, the range is extended if you use it on top of towers.
>the range is extended if you use it on top of towers.
I have 100+ hours and didn't know this, frick.
Towers are almost exclusively used by enemies and there is like 2 defense maps.
It is neat.
>the range is extended if you use it on top of towers.
What the frick that's actually amazing
Well I already know what team i'm putting her on
Anyone hame the normal ending sequence with Leah? Remember it being posted here but didn't save it.
This video has it https://youtu.be/ZxK_PsmIUJc?si=JkcEUXffl4FwIR_l
Leah has some of the best dialogue in that ending and i dont even like her that much.
Last time we tried to have long gameplay discussions the thread went to shit because nobody could agree what was good and what wasnt.
Leah is kind of a weird character
She has a decent amount of story presence, decent connections to important characters, alright design
But she's still one of the most forgettable characters to me, maybe because you get 2 other swordmasters around the same time and she has the worst growth combination so I never used her
People keep bringing up sex and shipping more than anything else, so I can tell it's an awful game.
HOT HAG SEX
I don’t know why but the red nails on Yahna are pure sexo
Sexy
reminder that she has had sex with over 1000 men
Headcanon.
I, too, don't read the tbread befpre posting.
The story is mostly just there to serve as a reason for the gameplay to happen. Waifugays always dominate any thread for any game with females in it, because they post a lot and post more images than other posters.
i dunno mane, feels like a good balance between both
that's what it needs to be. going too far into one direction or another just causes chaos
Sex
Now go away, go post in a gay thread
God damn Alain's father was a lucky man
unicornsisters...
Pltbawd? Manbawd.
I just spent 2 hours straight autistically rearranging my squads. How do I stop doing this and actually play the game like a normal human ?
That's THE gameplay.
Oh I've been demolishing everything except the coliseum on autopilot since entering Drakenhold.
I just finished Bastorias and spent 2 hours making completely different squads to try and optimize things a little more.
Can they win battles with minimal damage? Then it's good enough for now. Frick with it again when they start losing
Autistically rearranging your squads *is* the game. The ability to run the game completely on auto pilot because you've created nigh-unkillable doomstacks means you're playing the game correctly
>only 2 hours
You still have another 3 hours of fun to go anon.

I think i'd rather play it in portable mode on the switch.
nah
This game was intended for the PS Vita initially. Vanillaware suck at the actual process of making a game.
I have spent literal hours in forts making up shit to test, my switch says I have 175 hours across my two playthroughs. As a fightinggay this fulfills that autism but without tbe stress of multiplayer.
Just finished Bastorias, glad I never have to deal with that night time power up shit again
>glad I never have to deal with that night time power up shit again
lmao
Any waifu that attacks Galerius in the normal ending is better than the ones that dont.
Do you think scarletts milkers got bigger after popping out the 4th heir or so?
Does she need attendants to hold them for her?
I'm horny.
We know, Melisandre.
How do I unlock Amalia's possessed moves? I want that massive unit wide attack and minus AP/PP passive.
You dont.
I can't wife a girl that doesn't fit into Alain's unit, and none of them (that I like) seem to fit
Alain can carry anyone like a town bicycle
Which ones are you trying to use
Leah, Yunifi and Ochlys mainly
Scarlett is the perfect healer for Alain so I can't trade her out
How the frick do you struggle to use Yunifi? She’s one of the best units in the game
Bro just use all 5 in the same team they'll work lol
I would have no way to deal with armor, and evasives would frick me with bad luck
>I would have no way to deal with armor
Scarlett.
>evasives would frick me with bad luck
Leah.
What can she do against armor except for that light beam? I need her healing
Those must be higher level attacks, I don't have them
pic related
Passive Miracle goes great with Rapid Order
Conferral on Alain who uses Spinning Edge, which already ignores 50% of defense.
Scarlett is right there
>angel shield
Yunifi or even Ochlys can melt them
>Scarlett is the perfect healer for Alain
Yeah because she's a shitty healer and Alain just heals himself 99% of the time lmao
Surely you can work something for Alain + waifu even if it requires you to re organize the rest of the team.
My Alai team is Virginia, Scarlett, Rosalinde and Yahna. I still can't decide who to ring.
how, alain himself is pretty strong
Alain doesnt really need a healer
Both elf sisters work great as mixed damage dealers and if Alain gets fricked up they can cure status and heal at the same time anyway, essentially for free
