I don't know, man. I still have fun playing video games, and I'm still playing modern games here and there. Nothing AAA mind you, mostly indie or at biggest AA stuff, but if it's fun I'll still play it. Way I see it, if you look for a reason to not have fun, you'll often find one, so I just look towards the good things when I'm playing and try not to be bothered too much by anything in particular. If something is genuinely enjoyable, it'll shine through the flaws and you'll still have fun.
