You don't need to because you already have a NG+ character...just go straight to Radahn and Mohg, it will take a couple hours.

I beat the entire thing with some random twin blade and I honestly suck at souls games. you'll be fine not using any mechanic you dont find fun.
It would take 30 hours tops. You don't have to explore in NG+
They were better off releasing this as a standalone game with you starting from level 0. I also didn't buy it because I don't have a character at an appropriate level and its too tedious to play the base game again.
I played every souls game and never felt the urge to be a cheesing b***h until i played elden ring.
Zero desire to play through the base game again. Everything after Stormveil feels lacking.
