Yes. If a service is good enough I will wan to financially support it so they can continue to produce more of the thing I like. If I pirate a non-AAA game and it is think good enough I will go back and buy it on steam legitimately to support the developer and play it again. And because I'm not a poor gay

seeing every franchise i've bought since 1992 turned into something completely different. i dont want to support anynone amyore
He's unironically right. It's easier to buy a game for $5 off steam and download it than risk getting a miner or virus from a cracked game or torrent.
The only times piracy is excused is if it's a walled garden exclusive, it removes the DRM and thus makes it run better, or you are literally too poor because you live in a third world country.
/biz/gay and crypto shitcoin casino gambler here. After reading the metamask drain horror stories, I've decided that forking over $20 for a game is, at the end of the day, better than risking downloading something hidden in the repack/crack causing my entire wallet's funds to be given to China or Russians.
I don't like it, but I have to do it. Maybe someday I'll get a cheap laptop for crypto purposes before I pirate games again.
I just pirate everything that seems somewhat interesting, then if I don't play it I know I didn't really care about it. If I played it and it's bad, then I dodged a bullet. If I played it and it's actually good then I'll delete my pirated copy (assuming it's from a smaller developer, otherwise who cares lol) and wait for the game to go on sale
NO SIR HE WAS NEVER RIGHT
NOW DO THE NEEDFUL AND DELETE STEAM, INSTALL EPIC GAME STORE AND GIVE THE STEAM GIFT CARD TO ME, OUR VILLAGE NEEDS IT TO PAY THE FEES FOR SHITTING ON THE NOT DESIGNATED STREET
Yes, zoomers literally don't know how to pirate games anymore. Services are too comfortable
Thank you, chef!
no amount of good service quality will be a better offer than getting games for free
OP was asking humans, not third worlders like you.

So then I won't pay for those because they're not good anymore. I pirate games first to try them out and then decide if I like them or not.

yes but beating free games is not something israelites want to do
Yes. Just like at how EGS has caused piracy to increase.

the store absolutely needs to offer something over piracy if they want me to actually buy the game, so yes.
Yes.
Doesn't seem he thinks he is right, as steam is a piece of garbage with poor services and commercial practices.
Absolutely right.
