The volume of voice lines was really ambitious. A ton of situational shit depending on your boons/weapons. Shame all the content and gameplay variety comes from sliders.
>play the game >start having a lot of fun >beat Hades for the first time >realize that this is the entire game and all that's left is just to mindlessly do it over and over again with cheap effortless sliders as "content" >realize that the novelty of having a ton of unique lines is lost when it is the only content in the game >it's just an endless drip feed of one sentence
this could easily be the best game of its kind if it had actual content, but instead it is a beta worth of content padded out with a lot of voice acting
I played it for like 60 hours hoping at some point that war would break out with mount olympus once Demeter found out about Persephone at the VERY least setting itself up for a sequel. But na.
They werent shy about it.
Still decent game
the game had potential
but then it had no fricking content aside of a shit ton of voice acting

Pyre >>> Transistor >= Bastion >> Hades
It's really that simple.
Hades >>>>>> Bastion > Transistor >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Pyre
>Bastion over Transistor
Small brain.
>We want OP
Said no one ever.

There was one point where I started to suspect Demeter would be the secret final boss, but no such luck.
