DARKNESS AND DESPAIR bros, the next game is confirmed to be Attila 2. They are doubling down on the crisis mechanics. It is another survival strategy.

Can't wait for the inevitable roman empire mod.

>Troy is now Attila
no
That's pretty much what I've been reading. Fire spreads across multiple things, brush fires, forest fires. Has mud, swamp, sand, I assume gravel or other types of surfaces.
I haven't heard about siege escalations nor raid like units nor confirmation of non hero generals. Could be cool and for once I'm excited for a tw product but still waiting to see gameplay and see it all in action.
>nor confirmation of non hero generals.
How dense can people be lmao.
There will be earthquakes, fires, plagues, israelites, huns, everything. We just need throat singing.
It is Attila again, I'm so hyped.
We've seen the general units and they are bodyguard units.
>total war
>actually using terrain
Holy shit
I'M EATING MUCH NOW THAT I'M NO LONG CONSTIPATED. THANK YOU, TOTAL WAR: PHARAOH, I CAN FEEL THE SHIT RUNNING DOWN MY LEG!
You will never be white
>Arrows now whittle away armour
what the FRICK
? you moronic or something
Are you?
The developers definitely are
God as if the spreadsheet gameplay of nu total war wasn't bad enough, now they added an HP pool to armor. Look at battle gameplay videos, archers just firing on a unit and they only lose one man during a charge.
Frick off volound gay
CA shills and paypigs seething at the truth, many such cases!
should be something worn down bit by bit every battle and only repairable by stationing in cities
>uneducated Black folk don't know that bronze was a fricking trash material for armor and weapons and needed to be constantly maintained/replaced even during battle
back to toyhammer with you
you sure that it means you can just chip-down plates with the exact same material?
>bronze was softer than iron
>THAT MEANS YOUR ARMOR FELL OFF AFTER GETTING HIT BY AN ARROW
kek
Ugh yeah they should add a mechanic where your soldiers spearheads and swords break after 3 minutes and they continue the battle with their fists
Yeah man, can’t wait for my ushabtis, unkillable one unit generals and mobile game aesthetic! Just like Attila!
Cant wait for the Dorian horde invasion
Attila was the shit but CA is NOT the shit
Whatever they make now won't be shit
I'd rather pay for an update to Atilla than this shit
i didn't even know this game was coming out until volound released 15 fricking videos on it at the same time and flooded my youtube home page. i tried watching one of them and he kept whining that it was like three chinkdoms and warhammer
now this guy is telling me it's like attilla
Why are you watching volound
Is he wrong? New total wars are garbage.
>unironically watching Volound
Pharaoh is indeed going to be shit though
>white people uniting against the asiatic horde is the same as brownoids getting fricked by sea brownoids
I'll pass
Sea peoples were white you moron
Evidence?
The Sea peoples originated from these areas
Which means they were white
lmao not in that time. they were closer to MENA
absolute bullshit
this took place before the arab and turk invasions so the region had not yet become muttified
>most educated muttoid
>pissed yuropoor
At least you're "white", Mehdi. Inshallah.
>uniting
most historical literate amerigoblin
>$110
>Corner of the world
>Samey cultures
I mean it'll be good, Troy was. It'll have good campaign mechanics, look great and be pretty historical, but it's not worth that much money. No way in hell will I get $110 worth of playtime. I only managed 2 half campaigns in Troy.
Pharaoh is literally Troy reskinned.
>its okay when troonyhammer does it
"Fantasy" TW was born dead, "Historical" TW was killed by CA.
The thing is was never okay.
>Historical" TW was killed by CA.
I too hated Shogun but they were able to come back with R2 and Attila, I'll wait for the release.
Strategobros, we found the optimist.
>muh survival strategy
>muh OG Dark Ages
>muh nuking cities
>muh return to Old Ways
>muh Belisarius (DLC)
Pharaohbros I don't feel so good.
The worst part is that Sofia seem to be the only ones at CA that can make a game run at all. Troy was boring but it looked good and ran amazingly well compared to...well every other TW game honestly. Sounds like a familiar story. Big company has a few good workers and treats them the worst.
>Sofia team worked in little projects: DLCs and Sagas
>according to CA, Pharaoh is not a Saga
>in reality is a Saga, but without the name
>why hasn't Saga in the title, because will cost as a FULL game, 60€
>the idea behind of Saga was to try new crazy things
>this saga game doesn't creates nothing new neither crazy, just bring back pre-Rome 2 mechanic
At this point, we will have to wait until Sega used AI to create a REAL new engine for the franchise.
"Manage all comments"?
volound? is this you again?
This thread was sponsored by Pharaoh Shadow Mummies.
>seething at an obvious shop you made yourself
Every day we reach new levels of pathetic.
CA troony shill relax, you can still waste your money in this shit, but pls, stop being so pathetic.
KEEEEEEEEK
deranged
Why do people pretend Attila was a good game when it's the same exact shitty battle system as Rome 2?
>exact shitty battle system as Rome 2
*tips*
Here's your answer:
>sick soldiers vomiting of anxiety before battle starts
>darkness and despair
>survival strategy
>negative technology
>organic empire collapse
>decisive cavalry maneuvers
>soundtrack
damn, it has ALL of those marketing talking points
must be amazing
all of these except for decisive cavalry maneuvers are memes
Literally none of this matters in a series built around the battle mechanics, and even if you're a campaigngay you can't ignore the shitty aspects like armies being tied to generals and the province system. Attila being this amazing game when it's actually just a glorified Rome 2 expansion may be the biggest meme in the fanbase.
Age of Charlemagne dlc really made Attila, Mercian campaign was s tier for me. Add some mods for more units and it's arguably better than the base game.
a full "dark age" total war spanning europe, north africa and the near east would be kino
That would have to include you-know-who as an active character in battle though, and I don't know how they'd get away with it.
They added female generals. This game is pozzed as frick.
thats cool. cant wait for the waifu mods
that was rome 2
Kino is back on the menu boys
Man Attila really was the last kino total war, it was so kino when they added female generals to rome 2 and every game after they skipped attila
