but how am i gonna dab on you without on mp games my top of the line mice
It's just a sidegrade. if you like the G pro superlight shape better than the V3 Pro is your mouse. If you like the old viper shape then the V2 is your mouse.
I thought they finally fixed double-clicking with their new optical sensors, but 1 year in the mouse-wheel is broken instead. I hate this bullshit so much. There isn't a single company anymore that stands for quality, even with the absurd pricing.
it's just far too expensive
yeah it's probably the endgame of mice but it's maybe 20% better than my old G703 which was 1/4 of its price
just save your money, you're not an esports pro
>wireless
Enjoy your latency zoomer homosexual, he fell for the twitch streamer shillslop OH NONONONONONONONONONONOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
You're probably better off buying viper v2 pro since it's bound to get cheaper now.
The mouse is great, but I can't really say it's worth it if you're not some pro >for about a year before scroll wheel and connectivity issues start
Can't say anything about connectivity, since v2 is my first wireless, but I had viper 8khz for almost 3 years before, and the scroll didn't frick up so far, I'm using that mouse at work now. In fact it surprised me as well, because before that I had steelseries rivals (310 and 300 I think) and both had their wheel dead after 1,5~2 years
literally no difference between my viper, g pro wireless, and 22 year old WMO in terms of tracking, except the WMO will probably last another 10 years and the others one year
I hate razer. But you're pretty delusional if you think the WMO with its outdated sensor and plastic mouse feet is going to aim just as well as a modern gaming mouse with better sensor implementation, lower lag, lower weight, and pure PTFE feet (none of these are exclusive to Razer or logitech).
>delusional
lol >outdated sensor
in controlled settings with when set to 1000hz, there is no difference. >ptfe feet
lacks absolute control, just stupid for FPS >lower lag
opposite >weight
80g is already light
>in controlled settings with when set to 1000hz, there is no difference.
That you can notice because you're not good enough >lacks absolute control, just stupid for FPS
The opposite is true. Mouse feet that glide smoother is easier to microadjust than scratchy plastic ones >opposite of lower lag
post your numbers >80g is already light
but there is lighter, and as someone who started out with heavy mice and progressively went lighter there is a difference. My first "gaming" mouse was a G502 and my current mouse weighs 40 grams. Switching back and forth between them is night and day.
>modern >better sensor implementation >lower lag >lower weight >pure PTFE feet
holy shit now I understand the morons they market towards
if I give you a mouse with bigger numbers will you buy it too zoom zoom?
This piece of shit? I had to return my copy because modern logitech is all about out of spec omron switches that are practically guaranteed to double click
That and the shape is terrible

I mean at the very least now they have a G502 with optical switches and their flagship G pro Superlight has it now as well. I agree though Logitech is always late to the game.

But they've raised their prices even further. Even if I forgave them for scamming me out of 60 bucks with the original guaranteed to double-click G502, the new one is still twice as expensive as the Basilisk.

Basilisk is a better mouse anyway.

Blowing into it isn't going to remove the oxidation on the switch's contact pads.
Forget it man. It's literally just a bunch of boomers in their mid-30s spreading that bullshit about how mice were perfected 25 years ago because that's when they were kids playing CS1.6 thinking that makes them an authority on the subject when they've got 350ms reaction times now kek.
>how mice were perfected 25 years ago
Go on, tell the class how optical imaging advancements in mice has created greater tracking. I hope it's something besides higher native CPI.

modern sensors have no mouse skipping, no native angle snapping, finer dpi adjustments, better accuracy on a wider range of surfaces, are closer to their true dpi due to better implementations with the MCU, better polling rate stability, the option for >1000 Hz polling rate, lower sensor latency when at the same polling rate, and better efficiency for longer lasting batteries
1 week ago
Anonymous
>and better efficiency for longer lasting batteries
this isn't even a con. you can just use it plugged while it charges so that it basically becomes wired (but without that old school hard thicc cable that gets kinks), or just have 2 mice

even 8k is perceptible, not as much as high refresh rate monitors but you do notice the extra smoothness. compare a modern mouse with the bells and whistles and an old boomer one side to side, and you will be able to tell it.

yes i do have a semi recent phone. older ones don't have high refresh rates with high resolutions and pretty colors, and probably don't boot up in 10 seconds.

Everytime I try to use a Razer mouse there's some stupid bullshit that becomes a dealbreaker for me.
My DeathAdder had insane scroll wheel squeaking that developed after a few months of use.
My razer viper ultimate wireless receiver just shit out on itself and became bricked for no reason
My cobra pro had a scroll wheel encoder issue
And I tried the viper v3 pro for a few days and returned it because literally every single feature is locked behind synapse and for some reason you can't save it to onboard memory so you have to keep it open.
Razer is just a dogshit company, I don't know how they manage to even compete with other brands let alone be an industry leader.
i don't wanna become bald pulling my hair waiting and typing out tickets, returning their cuck package, and reading shit, or whatever the procedure is, to get a new mouse that also doubleclicks out of the box but thanks
insanely overpriced mouse
A top tier mouse for about a year before scroll wheel and connectivity issues start
what does it even improve over the v2? probably a meme
my v2 has been goin' stronk, and i bought it a few months after release. fake news
Different shape, slightly lighter weight, comes with the 8k dongle. And that's about it.

Overpriced slop.
You can get 8k 3395 mice for like $40 now.

utter horseshit. it's close, but even the company reps themselves will state that wired will always be every so slightly faster/consistent
I'll use this image when people cry about my wireless connection in fighting games.

have you ever used it though? you cant get a butter smooth glide that doesn't wear out and doesn't collect grime without one
Glass skates will wear down your mousepad.
it wont matter
this scenario you imagined is only a con if the mousepad is made of glass and the feet of something else
not that anon but glass mat or feet is just stupid. you have to compensate way too much for how slippery they are
i do? i get predictable and smooth tracking no matter if i'm flicking or making micro-adjustments. works on my mousepad.
>literally no difference between my viper, g pro wireless, and 22 year old WMO in terms of tracking because I am too bad to notice it
FTFY

this motherfricker is the reason why every logishit mouse double clicks out of the box and the reason why the sub imploded. dont watch him

i've had 3 of their latest flagship cuck mice develop the double click hardware bug, all with less than a year of use. never again.

what did logitech mean by this
Hate the ultralight trend where they got rid of the right side buttons.
Uhm. Where the frick are the holes?
bought this for 200€ used it once never again stick to my G PRO X 2 no reason for another mice to exist.
A worse version of a chinkshit mouse from Dareu
