It's like Star Wars, but every human character except the ginger you play is brown.

      Slop of the highest order.

do you even play video games any more

Sure. I even played this. I actually enjoyed it, but where have all the white people in Star Wars gone? Cal Kestis is the only one in the game.

          >but where have all the white people in Star Wars gone?
they were all exiled to sithhole planets like tatooine while every other poc spends their time on the republic led planets (they don't know that this is actually a part of our plan before the first order wipes out the entire republic)

NTA but people who don't play goyslop like this generally play more games than people who do.
Jedi Academy and force unleashed are better btw

Merrin is some kind of weird alien, or if she's human who knows what colour she is under her make-up.
I forgot the bad guy on Dathomir. OK so there's two white men in Star Wars, one ginger, the other evil.
Jedi: Survivor takes it even further. On the main planet where the game takes place there's all these prospectors, and literally *none* of them are white.

White people have largely turned their backs on Star Wars. Solo was a flop, now it's reduced to a mediocre TV franchise that few care about. At this point they've nothing to lose by reaching out to new demographics.

I'm not in my early 20's living with my parents anymore I don't have time to prove how cool and good I am at video games

I'll play the difficulty right before the hardest...am I still gay?

Yes. Jedi Grandmaster is what the default difficulty should be, everything below it is a complete joke. You have year long parry times, take chip damage, and completely slaughter everything. Grandmaster at the very least has you dying in like three hits, the parry timing is still lenient but you can't completely miss and still count as a parry, and bosses are actual fights instead of a joke.

You also can't spam parry like in Sekiro. Grandmaster gives you a small enough parry window to make it into some kind of a challenge, and you can't trivialize that by mashing L1. If you can't hit that window you either get struck or it counts as a block and you lose a lot of stamina.

You have to use DXVK Async to reduce the shader stutter otherwise the game is unplayable. Every new action or enemy makes the game judder which is suicide in a souls clone.

lots of boring platforming and puzzles. I'd guess 30 percent of the game is spent fighting things, which is fun, but I couldn't finish it.

Incredibly short, shit writing, okay gameplay.
Got it for for five bucks and still felt ripped off.

yeah, i got it for the same and also felt ripped off. even more so when the game crashed while it was saving and corrupted the file, it's very unstable even as of today

I really enjoyed it on the hardest difficulty, fun Sekiro clone with Uncharted platforming and puzzles and leans towards the original trilogy aesthetic with fun lightsaber battles.

They removed denuvo and now i have a a m.2 nvme so i should try it sometime again hoping they fixed it.

It's genuinely mediocre, there's a lot of copium about it being more than that from people that haven't let go of a dead franchise.

I didn't complete it, not because I didn't like it, but because I just didn't get to it. I kind of liked what I played, some of the enviornments looked pretty cool and the combat is more or less alright, sort of Dark Souls like. It didn't feel the most like Star Wars though, it I wouldn't say it was anything kino. If you want kino Star Wars games that feel like star wars, any of the old ones are the way to go. KOTOR, Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy, Jedi Outcast, Dark Forces, etc.
That being said, you bought the game, you imply you are going to play it, so play it and figure it out, this thread is kind of pointless. If you were making a thread like "How is this game? Is it worth buying?" that'd be one thing, but you have the game, I don't see the point.

      >the combat is more or less alright, sort of Dark Souls like. It didn't feel the most like Star Wars though,
making you actually block shit and force an opening was the best they ever did at translating the movie sword-fighting to a video game

i enjoyed it because i didn't have high expectations, also it was novel to play an EA starwars game that wasn't filled to the gills with micro transactions, no idea about the sequel though heard it was broken and never bothered with it, maybe in a few years when it's on sale i'll give it a go

Pfft what? It’s like Sekiro with Down’s syndrome. It is in no way similar to Metroid Prime, it’s clearly just badly aping an amalgam of fromsoft shit and on top of that it’s a garbage ass game.
