If you want a similar type of game that give you the feeling of going on a journey then play Dungeon Siege. You even donkeys in that game for transporting all your loot.

It was kinda fun for a while, literally just the titan quest engine made into a more cohesive game.
Pretty good diablo clone. Pacing and game speed can be a bit fricky. Took a lot of notes from Path of Exile.
