Uncharted Waters: New Horizons.
Is it that good?? i literally just posted about it in this thread
Dead or Alive Xtreme Beach Volleyball
Factual.
Doom is perfect. Doom 2 is bad.
agreed
digital devil saga 1 and 2
megaman x would be perfect if you started with the dash instead of having to do chill penguin first every time
wario land 4
chrono trigger
you can key in a password for that but you miss out on the intro stage
>you miss out on the intro stage
good riddance
fair but dat music though
well ig that's what youtube's for
>dat music though
i hate x1's intro stage music
Putting a vote in for Chrono Trigger as well.
>Warioland 4
Less is not more in its case and it really needs another set of levels, 16 main levels + bosses is barebones
>CT
It's not perfect but it is great.
My pick: f-zero gx
But they’re the same game lmao. You could import any DOOM1 map into DOOM2 and there would be literally zero difference.
>Doom 1 and Doom 2 are literally the same game except for the entirety of the campaign and its levels, you know, the whole game
Xevious arcade, SMB, Tower of Druaga and New Adventure Island on PC engine, DQ3 on SNES, SH2, SoulEdge on PS, Tekken 2 also on PS and Crash Team Racing.
Pong.
Which one? The digital or analog?
>pic unrelated

Silhouette Mirage
Tetris the Absolute Grand Master 3
OutRun 2006 Coast 2 Coast
Katamari Damacy
SoulCalibur II
Virtua Fighter 4 Evolution
Outrun 2006 Coast 2 Coast is such a great game!
Silhouette Mirage looks fricking awful, is it really that good?
It's pretty good and has a lot of charm, but just the japanese version though. US version made every alternative shot consume your mana which makes a lot of them unviable because even if you play the game perfectly you'll consume more than you'll absorb.

Played it during the summertime a couple of years ago and it completely blew me away. I was not expecting to get completely hooked on a game from 1997.
I need to revisit this one.
I always thought Crazy Taxi just works so well as an arcade high score chasing game, I would call it perfect. I can come back to this one endless times trying to get better scores, and even with the limited cars/two cities/limited soundtrack, I never find it boring.
How do you feel about the sequels?
I've only really played CT2 a great deal, and while it's really good, I don't think it's as good as 1.
The city design isn't nearly as tight, and it's easy to get lost. The jump doesn't add much to the gameplay, just makes it more complicated/bloated feeling IMO.
CT3 looks interesting and I need to play some more of it when I get my Xbox back.
I wouldn't call it perfect at all, but man, I really love this game.
Played it on and off since release but fully completed it this year and it's still fantastic, one of the true greats. It has problems, but everything does.
I thought the lego version was good.

There are not perfect games; they always have flaws. For example, you post REmake, which I love dearly, but the criticism that player movement is slow and chunky compared to the original trilogy is true, thus REmake is not perfect.
but that's actually not true because REmake has the 180 turn and RE1 doesn't
Off the top of my head:
Castlevania
Outrun arcade
Joust arcade
NIGHTS into Dreams
Silent Hill
max payne 1 is perfect for what it is
Genesis sports games are more fun than most games.
OutRun
Riven
>Sonic the Hedgehog 2 (Master System/1992)
I know most people would go for the Genesis in this case, but I dislike 100% completion and also Super Sonic's implementation there, despite me loving all of the rest... but here, I like all of it, it's often underrated since most people played the Game Gear port instead... and the low resolution really hurts that version, but this one? It's stellar. I love finding the Chaos Emeralds by exploring, I love the gimmicks and mechanics each level has, the OST, atmosphere, the looks... I love all of it.

I think Katamari Damacy is genuinely one of gaming's greatest achievements.
I can agree with this. Just a genuinely wonderful experience in every way.
So good games? Metriod prime
too slow and the combat system is shit
Mega Man 4 doesn't have flaws
>Silent Hill

The entire last third of the game is rushed
Mega Man X1.

perfect hasn't been created yet. But there are games that are extremely high in quality. Super Mario 64 is pretty good
Freedom Fighters
Spyro 1
Tyrian 2000 is almost perfect.
likewise Warcraft 3 but with Custom Maps.
---
Budokan is perfect except for the ninja boss in the console versions.
