I guess RE7 or Dying Light might be to your liking Dying Light 1 and 2, might be more your thing than Resident Evil, which is pretty limited in scope compared to open world survival shenanigans.
If you're like Sanna you will, through a mixture of Idealism, Naivety, and Based European Nationalism, always choose Big Stakes Very Very Hard mode and seek to make Europe into a Superpower Hegemon, but if you can't git gud, you can choose Super Easy Baby Finlandization Coward Mode to be neutral and have no foreign policy like her predecessors.

I dunno if GTFO is what I'd call tactical given that it doesn't involve any of the survival mechanics you want, but it does require you to do a lot of thinking or you're going to die (a lot).
It's not really intended to be played without at least one friend though.
