Game Gear Sonic 1 had a lot of changes made to fit the resolution and polish the game a bit, so it's odd that there are mistakes like this that weren't in the Master System version.
>stand in extraordinarily telegraphed safe spots without doing anything >win
The only reason I could ever see anyone ever dying to this Boss fight for any reason whatsoever would be if they wanted to see if you could also stand on the Nitro tiles without making them explode like you can with the TNT tiles.
The tortoise in israeliteel Master, it has three attacks, all of which can be avoided by standing under the platform near it. Also, the water ring + wind ring can damage it even when its head is retracted.
Other than this thing, the game's fairly difficult.
>technically
"Yeah, I guess TECHNICALLY Glass Joe can beat you if he beats you."
"TECHNICALLY you can die to King Dodongo if you lose all your hearts."
"If Rock Titan hits you with attacks until you lose all your HP, TECHNICALLY you lose."
That there's no "technically" about this. I have no idea what OP means by "technically".
Yes, meaning they can do damage to you and could at least in theory kill you. There are “bosses” that can’t do anything to you. Stop being moronic.
>Yes, meaning they can do damage to you and could at least in theory kill you.
Yes, and almost all the bosses in OP's image DO. >There are “bosses” that can’t do anything to you.
The only one in OP's image that can't is Bob-omb King. All the others can very clearly outright defeat you, there's no "tricks" to allow them to, or "technically" about them beating you because they can.
>i have no idea what OP means by “technically”
Because you’re ESL. It means that the bosses can damage you and kill you but they’re so easy that they aren’t likely to. This is a common way that native english speakers use the word “technically”.
>Yes, and almost all the bosses in OP's image DO.
No shit. It’s almost like they were posted as specific examples of easy bosses that can TECHNICALLY kill you.
>This is a common way that native english speakers use the word “technically
illiterate
you would use this in a scenario where the boss triggers a KO state without using an Instant Death or reducing your HP to zero. you would not use it to mean "possibly but not likely." the ESL here is you, probably mexican because i hear a lot of them using stuff like this, just like they use "if anything" to mean "in a last resort"

Great, now there’s two ESLs. Look, I know you’re upset that you can’t follow conversations but that’s not anyone else's fault. Go post on whatever your country’s equivalent of this site is.

Just because you're a zoomer that doesn't know how to use English because the modern school system failed you doesn't mean that someone else is "ESL" when they correct you.

Probably a tutorial boss from some JRPG.
dunno if it was just on the sms version but robotnik had a weird hitbox and you could easily hurt yourself trying to jump under him
Pretty sure you're not normally able to do this.
The Game Gear Sonic isn't normal
Oh so that's what it was.

"technically" does not mean "unlikely"

Yeah, that sounds much better, ESL-kun.

How can King BobOmb kill you?
By throwing you off the summit while having low health.
