It's crazy how we use to have summer vacation and winter breaks for school. As an adult that works year round and even 6 days a week from november to febuary as mandatory overtime and im only allowed 1 week of vacation time per year. Life sucks so fricking much.

I wish I knew what that was like growing up my step mother used snow days to make me miserable. She'd come up with busy chores that didn't need to be done and pull out old ass books and make me read them all day just to test me and punish me for not getting perfect scores on her made up tests. Often she hadn't even read the book and her answers were made up guesses and I'd still get punished even when I showed the page the correct answer was on.

I'm with the other Anon on this. There are definitely different degrees of it but no matter how much of a grip you let it get on you, you will notice certain patterns about certain kinds of people. See it enough and you'll start developing an active disdain for that group of people for making your experience worse with their mere existence.
I maintain that in our modern age "racism" is the result of experience not a lack of it. You may not like it, but being vary of other groups didn't happen in a vacuum.
I don't think people here are necessarily racist. They just hate poor people, who mostly happen to be of a single race. Poverty tends to breed a disruptive at best and destructive at worse culture that makes it very hard to sympathize with them and makes it very easy to hate them. Many racists have little trouble interacting with minorities above the poverty line. They behave like civilized humans, unlike their impoverished counterparts who are doing drugs out in the streets and looting stores.
I used to play Serious Sam first or second encounter every winter for several years. Disco Elysium is a good winter game. If you have a large friend group, Project Winter is fun. I find Cultist Simulator and Valheim are a lot more enjoyable during the darker times of the year.

It is. Some keep the lights up till february even. I prefer some lights to be indoors. A bit more festive vibe, not as costly, and not that hard to clean up.
