Taking our resource exploitation to mineral rich lifeless asteroids, or orbital greenhouse mass farms saves us from needing to do so at Earths detriment mickey.
In pixels and polygons, a world unfolds,
The Sims, a realm where stories are told.
In Simsville, a structure stands unique,
A Pyramid grand, with mysteries to peek.
Its walls, a tribute to ancient grace,
A nod to Egypt, a timeless embrace.
In Simlish whispers, tales are spun,
Within this Pyramid, a life begun.
No customization, no walls to shift,
In fixed abode, a simulated lift.
A pre-built haven for Sims to roam,
Within its bounds, a pixelated home.
The geometry echoes an ancient art,
A triangular prism, a structural part.
Yet, unlike pyramids of ancient lore,
No secret chambers, no mystical door.
Rooms predefined, their purposes clear,
No player's touch to interfere.
Yet in its simplicity, a charm resides,
A dwelling where Sim lives and abides.
Oh, Pyramid of pixels, in Sim's domain,
A structure fixed, a virtual terrain.
In The Sims 1, your presence felt,
A unique dwelling where stories are dealt.
That's their plan. Everybody excluding the ultra-elite will be rentcucks from cradle until grave. You'll be lucky to even own the cooking utensils in your kitchen.
i live with my parents still, and my mom still goes "why don't you rent? it's easy" despite lots of landlords having unrealistic expectations. Some landlords in my area are demanding recommendations of other landlords about renting history.
>Some landlords in my area are demanding recommendations of other landlords about renting history. >You need 2 years living experience before you can rent
We truly live in a mundane dystopia..

If it's so easy why don't you become a landlord? You think we just sit on our asses and collect paychecks? I'd like to see you try dealing with tenants for just 1 month.

>can make applicants pay to jump through whatever hoops >only have to accept 800+ credit score PhDs with clean background who make 6 figures if you want >and then can demand first month, last month, and a huge security deposit you won't give back unless they clean your butthole with their tongue on the way out >complains about tenants
Skill issue, slumlord.

let alone build/buy real estate to begin with but like everything else, these people think it just grows on trees
>1br apartment next to campus, advertised to grad students >demands tenant to make 3x rent, stipend is ~2x >completely livable at that price, location means no car expenses >boomer who owns place does not seem to understand it's not a legal requirement >a roommate would not let you qualify unless they make 3x the rent on their own but then why would they live here >parent can co-sign... if they make 8x rent but then why would you live here
It always annoyed me to no end that when having even just a family of 3, by the time the 3rd person got the plate and sat down to eat, the first sim was already finishing it and ready to get up and leave.

🙁 and rent is too high as well
You just keep voting for those property tax increases, wagie. Surely, that will help you own property someday.
