Mixbox. It's literally cheating. Easy kbd and wavedashes in T8. Every motion input has a a shortcut, making pretty much all execution simple.
Only downside is that it's a b***h to customize.
Started using a HORI fighting edge for KOF after trying to get one for the last month, swapped the ball top for a bat top and it is significantly more comfortable.
Glad to see another Logitech f310 chad. Using this since SF4. The ergonomics and D-pad are unmatched. But this fricking this is cheap dogshit and I've gone through about 12 of them in the last 15 years.
I think they are being discontinued which really sucks ass. The 710 has bluetooth issues AND the battery pack ruins the ergonomics. Sometimes you have to break in the pad, and by the time you do, it's so smooth is makes dashing awkward.
I just bought a BTP-C3 chinese pad. The D-pad is good, but is a little too floaty so just down backing is a little weird.
The big issue are the buttons. 6 face buttons too small and close together, you can easily hit the ones on the far right accidentally. The shoulder buttons are also too close together, and without grips ergonomics are bad.
Frick I would kill for a logitech F310 that didn't wear out to fast. You only get a small window where the D-pad is loose enough to do motions super fast and easy, but also firm enough to dash / feel each direction accurately.
I want to find a pad better than the logitech F310 so bad. This thing is fricking trash due to build quality. Everything else is built right but total dogshit to actually use. When it's good, sometimes I feel like my F310 is like cheating.

Hey. You ever have your Panzer not work on pc? I’m getting a “USB unrecognized ID” error. Panzer has worked for years. Most recently played SF6 back in October then put the stick in a drawer with the cable attached. Tried playing Tekken today with it and got this error now. Same pc and OS as October. I’m betting my USB pro cable is the culprit. Blue light on the Brooks UFB so I know it’s sending power but maybe cables are fricked?

Yeah, I'd check the cable first of all. It would be odd for a pro cable to go bad. Have you connected it to any other PCs? Thought about updating the Brook UFB? It may be a cable issue and in that case, if you've opened it up to take a look how about just connecting it directly without the use of the pro cable? This would isolate it down to either the cable itself or the internal usb-to-neutrik-mounted-pro-connector side.

I play with a keyboard. I tried a stick before but it was a cheap one I got on Amazon for like 60 bucks. I couldn't get inputs right at all with the stick and gave up on it until I learned it was semi-common to use keyboard and I gave it another whirl and enjoyed it.
It was a cool gig, I ended up going on a whim last year. My brothers and I were in country for a motorcycle trip and the dates just aligned, registration was like $50, so I decided to just go. I was eliminated after my fourth match as King in Tekken 7 but it was a lot of fun. Most of the competitors were east asian, big surprise, and my Nihongo is ass but those who spoke English even marginally were super nice and we ended up drinking with a few other early losers. In cities like Toyko and Kyoto you can find girls who speak English... well enough and being a foreigner makes you easy to talk to. In the right circles anyway. All considered, solid experience, would recommend. The 360 controller carried me each and every one of those rounds, though I never got past a giant swing before being tech'd out of my grabs.
Being a nerd finally paid out. Same happened to Chris-chan too.

Didn't. There are several companies that rent motorcycles in country. I had a Honda Rebel 500 through Rental819 which was about $1000 in total for the two weeks. Part of me thinks I should've just bought a JDM bike I can't get in the US like a Hawk instead but it was pretty cool.

I finally switched from a HRAP V3 to a Fighting Stick Alpha because these new meme games that use too many buttons tipped me over on switching to Noir instead of Vewlix. Basically no choice but to swap the buttons for OBSFEs for noise reasons even though I kind of like them, but can't decide between the Hayabusa or the LS-56 I was using surprisingly.

Everyone says the original was good, just a bit small in the hands.

Love that lil homie but it doesn't have L3 and R3 buttons. Fighting games nowadays need so many buttons because of macros that SF6 is the only one that I can use training mode features properly in since it lets you set button combinations as shortcuts.

No, the travel time is faster on a hitbox than on a keyboard (due less resistance) made to function like a hitbox but with keys.
