What does this mean? That you're unable to enjoy a game when Ganker is telling you it's bad? Or that you played a game that people told you was bad and put you off of it for a long time until you got desperate for something specific, and different, and so you tried it out and it's actually good?
Because that happened with me, and it's TLOU1. I thought it was just a moviegame but it honestly doesn't actually feel that intrusive.

The only good game there is Life is Strange, and even then, it's only good if you experienced anything similar in your teenage years, so you can relate to the story somewhat.

TLOU2 is either the best or second-best game ever made. I was fortunate to be able to avoid almost all the internet drama surrounding it, and played it unspoiled.
Life is Strange is heavily flawed but is a cozy, absorbing, memorable experience despite that.
Haven't played the other two, but this guy clearly has good taste so maybe I should.
