>hard has you row the damn boat with analogues >this was clearly their intention from day 1, but they realized it's too hard >it took me 15 minutes since I got turned around and lost
I beat Hard action level with one of the normal endings but I absolutely fricking refuse to ever do the twin Pyramid Head fight ever again on that difficulty
>I beat Hard action level with one of the normal endings but I absolutely fricking refuse to ever do the twin Pyramid Head fight ever again on that difficulty
That took me ages, and I think I burned though 85% of my ammo, leaving me only to finish it with my handgun. Supposedly it's based on time? So you can just run around? I have no idea. It seemed strange that it took that much ammo.
Yes I gunned down that harlot Maria with just the handy.
I have no clue what the rules are and I believe I've beaten it twice on hard. First time was just blasting all my ammo aside from a few handgun rounds. Second time I ran around, thinking it's on a timer, and hitting them to just slow them down periodically. Both times took me FOREVER. I have no clue what the trick is.
I think they have standard HP, just very high, and they will kill themselves after a certain point if you don't do enough damage. On hard it's cranked up high.
>On hard it's cranked up high.
IIRC it's about 300 shots from the handgun to kill pyramid head duo on hard. With the hunting rifle it's about 50 shots.
Mario Sunshine.
Beat it 100% on original hardware. It might be the only 3D Mario game I've beaten 100% aside from getting all 120 stars with Mario in Galaxy, but not with Luigi.
Nah to each his own, was just curious as usually 120ing 64 is something most people have done once in their life, especially if they're a fan of Mario in any capacity. Maybe you might get the itch someday friendo
I beat King's Field the other day after meaning to play it since 2009. It was a great time, I regret taking so long. That final boss is bullshit though.
I finally got through Batman - The Video Game on SEGA Mega Drive/Genesis a few days back, I wanted to try it out for a long time, and finally did it, at first on the easiest possible settings it had (Normal; 7 Lives), but then I finished it in its hardest settings (Hard; 3 Lives) and then again I did it in the hardest settings, but a 1CC aswell. I can't recommend this one enough, it's really fun.
I'm playing through the Famicom/NES one now, which I loved as a kid... but you know, I think I'm more of a Mega Drive/Genesis fan now, it's just a lot more accurate to the film it's based on really.
I finished Disney's Magical Quest on SNES, Hard difficulty, and got all of the 8 Heart Containers... it wasn't easy, especially considering it's Disney, but it was fun and satisfying, I still like Castle of Illusion and the other "Illusion" titles better, all of the 8-Bit and Donald "Illusion" spin-offs too, but this was fun, and I'm excited to try out all of its sequels, especially the one with Donald Duck.
Not many, getting a job feels better than being unemployed, for sure, but it takes my time too. Also getting a GF and studying for the graduate course I want... it's like, I'm sorting out my life at this point, but I'm getting less time to do stuff I like and want to do, and it just gets worse really.
I'm probably getting a dog soon too, and going to the gym to lose some weight... how do all of you guys even play video games? Jeez... frick...

Only beat Hard mode once.
>Dog
You didn't beat it.

I heard that if you use all your ammo the fight will end after a few minutes of running around.

Tenchu WoH and then a bunch of RE games, ending with RE4 on Pro with no merchant, couple days ago.
space invaders plus on pc engine
it's a bit RNG on the later stages but they give plenty of extra continues if you score well on the early stages
You can do better than that
>HD collection
yikes
Also the PS2 version I'm playing lacks the UFO ending
OoT. MM will take a bit longer.
MM is a shorter game, unless you get all the masks I guess.
Mario Sunshine.

You never got 120 in 64? Seems strange, what's the reason?
the only time I ever played 64 was at a babysitter's house when I was a kid, and I never got all 150 stars in 64 DS.
You have no desire to go back and get 120 now that you're older and especially after beating Sunshine?
guess not. If it makes you feel any better, I've beaten Banjo-Kazooie and Banjo-Tooie 100% at least once before.

Looking forward to the rest of the series.
