Sonic is about it
Street Fighter (1994)
Mortal Kombat (1995)
Corporate trash
literally kino
Cheesekino is a fine line that barely any filmmaker attempts nowadays
None of them is a masterpiece but I found the next ones enjoyable
Sonic 1 and 2
The original Mortal Kombat movie
The first two Anderson Resident Evil movies (good Nemesis still sucks)
Bison speech at the end of the original Street Fighter movie
The DOA movie (if you keep your expectations low)
The First Person segment almost at the end of the Doom movie
And not really adaptations but they are either vidya related or inspired
Both Tron movies
Hardcore Henry
That independent movie about a girl who plays an MMO where if you die, you die IRL. Is older than SAO, from the 00s I think
the original tomb raider starring angelina jolie before she went woke & broke
I still watch the uncut trailer from time to time
>Broke
I don't browse Ganker, what happened to Jolie?
She made gazillions of dollars and retired happy
I want to go back and frick prime Jaime Pressly aka the better Margot Robbie
need for speed
Rampage.
I'm glad there's more Asian actresses in movies now because I was really tired of seeing that Chihuahua-faced b***h in every 2000s movie
Pixels was great
Do videogame series also count?
For the moment, the Ultrasmurf movie is quite good, but not really great. Most of /tg/ hates it thou.
There is the first Doom movie, thou its not based in the first 2 Dooms, but the Third one which was basically Halflife with fricked light effects.
There is also the Postal movie.
Ace Attorney and nothing else
Silent Hill is a good movie and I'm tired of pretending its not.
The movie has nothing to do with SH and isnt even good on its own.
I could never go so far as to call it good, but it's miles beyond other vidya movies by a large margin. I loved that part when she was running around and using the maps. Also Sean fricking Bean.
The sequel is one of the worst things I have ever turned off halfway through.
It's frustrating because the sets and locations were ripped straight from SH2 but the focus on the cultists from SH3 ruined the sense of isolation that the games have. Also the monsters had nothing to do with the protag, they were just taken from SH2 with no greater context.
not that one
Just rewatched this a week ago and it's still a masterpiece. Absolute perfection. Finally, a director that doesn't have his head up his ass and is unashamed to put giant breasts and ass pressed flush against the camera lens.

That was made in 2007, before the Great Pozz of western media.
prince of persia
Despite having every reason to be shit, mainly the whole reverse-ikesai angle and the random black people whose only purpose is to exclaim "Oh dayum!", the Sonic movies are surprisingly good.
Arcane is a series but it's probably the best vidya adaption to date and I resent that League of Legends of all games got the honor of such a good adaptation.
i remember liking the prince of persia movie
